Korie McGreevy clinched a hat-trick of race wins at the Easter Enkalon Trophy meeting at Bishopscourt on Saturday.The Ballynahinch rider took victory in the second feature race of the day and also secured a comprehensive double in the Supersport class.McGreevy finished second behind Carl Phillips in the opening feature race, a mere 0.1 seconds the winning margin, with Daniel Matheson third.The McAdoo Kawasaki rider edged out Phillips by just 0.17 seconds on a damp but drying track at the county Down circuit in race two, Matheson again completing the podium positions.That left McGreevy and Phillips tied on points after the two races but the former was awarded the Enkalon Trophy with the second race determining the outcome.McGreevy retains his lead at the top of the Ulster Superbike championship going into the third round of the series at Kirkistown on Easter Monday.McGreevy took the chequered flag from Christian Elkin in both Supersport outings to collect the David Wood Trophy for the third time.Caolan Irwin was a double Supertwins victor, coming home ahead of former British 125cc champion Elkin on both occasions.

The group will cover up to 100 miles a day in memory of Scotland legend Doddie Weir, who sadly passed away in 2022, and to raise money for research into motor neurone disease. So far, the challenge has raised more than £300,000 for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, with hopes of hitting the £500,000 mark before the final leg. The ride will finish in Dublin on Friday where the team will deliver the match ball to the Aviva Stadium ahead of the British and Irish Lions' clash with Argentina. Sam Davies heartbreak after play-off defeat Sam Davies was left heartbroken once again after his Grenoble side were narrowly beaten by Perpignan in the play-off match for a spot in France's Top 14 next season. Grenoble were defeated in the Pro D2 play-off final against Montauban last week, however they were granted another opportunity for promotion in what is called the 'Top 14 Access Match' – a play-off between the runners-up and the 13th-placed team in the Top 14. However, Wales international Davies, who has been sensational for Grenoble this season, was unable to steer his side to victory, with Perpignan coming out 13-11 winners. Perpignan made a flying start, with Tavite Veredamu crossing the line in just the third minute. Grenoble thought they had hit back through winger Wilfried Hulleu, but the officials correctly ruled out two potential tries. Thomas Lainault eventually got Grenoble on the board, and a Davies penalty nudged them into an 8–7 lead at halftime. The second half remained tense and tactical. Tommaso Allan restored Perpignan's advantage with a penalty in the 65th minute, only for Romain Trouilloud to level things up ten minutes later. But Allan had the final say, slotting over a decisive kick two minutes from time to seal the victory and secure Perpignan's place in the Top 14. Wales prop's dad left in tears Uncapped Wales player Garyn Phillips has revealed that his father was in tears after his call up. The Ospreys front row was one of six players called up by Matt Sherratt who have never played international rugby. Teammates Keelan Giles and Reuben Morgan-Williams were also given the call. Leinster crowned URC champions By PA Sport Staff Leinster lifted their first trophy since 2021 after a convincing 32-7 BKT United Rugby Championship grand final win over the Pretoria Bulls at Croke Park. The wet weather failed to deter an attendance of 46,127 - a record for a league decider in Ireland - as Leo Cullen's men became the first table-topping team to win the title in the URC era. Despite Jamison Gibson-Park's pre-match withdrawal, Leinster roared into a 19-0 half-time lead with tries from captain Jack Conan, Jordie Barrett and Josh van der Flier. The latest on Celtic's winger hunt amid 'number of targets'
The Parkhead club are 'expected' to sign versatile attacking midfielder Benjamin Nygren from Nordsjaelland, although it doesn't look like they will stop there. Indeed, Sky Sports claims that Celtic are on the hunt for a winger this summer, and that they have 'made contact' for a number of targets, including Sondre Orjasaeter of Sarpsborg and Royal Antwerp's Michel-Ange Balikwisha. Read more: The latter ended an injury-ravaged 2024/25 campaign by contributing to seven goals in 11 games. Balikwisha was linked with a move to Parkehad last summer, while Orjasaeter was said to be the subject of a £4.6 million bid from Celtic in January. He previously addressed his failed move: "I struggled to sleep," revealed Orjasaeter. "I didn't know if I was going to be in Norway or not. I could have moved at any moment. I had to carry my passport with me everywhere. "When the window closed, I felt a sense of relief. I came to the conclusion that I was determined to stay in Sarpsborg and play here, because I didn't know if I was ready to leave yet. "Going abroad now is another level up. It had become more professional and everything. There were many thoughts going through my head during that period. "If I get a little more time in Sarpsborg, I think I'll mature and be ready for it eventually. "Of course, you will have a better life after your career if you have more money in your account, but you only live once. For me, it is just as important to have fun along the way. It is probably even more important "I have a lot of friends to keep me grounded. I think if I only had football, my head would explode!
