A'ja Wilson, Angel Reese's head-turning looks go viral on Orange Carpet
WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana has kicked off, and before any of the ladies hit the floor for any of the activities, they made sure to serve looks on the Orange Carpet. Everyone who stepped on the carpet showed off their best, and they also stopped to answer questions from the media. A'ja Wilson and Angel Reese came on around the same time, showing off their stunning outfits together, and giving the fans what they wanted to see.
'When two baddies link up,' the woman taking a video of Wilson and Reese said.
'Period,' Wilson replied.
Both players have shown that they can hit the runway with some of the outfits that they've come out in during gameday, so the Orange Carpet was nothing to them.
Wilson described her burgundy dress, saying that it was from Di Petsa. She also had on Saint Laurent earrings to match the outfit.
For Reese, she wore a leopard print trench coat, and looked like a true model when she was taking her pictures.
Though Wilson and Reese put on a show on the Orange Carpet, they also know how to put on a show on the court. They're both having amazing seasons, which is why they were voted as All-Stars this year.
Wilson is averaging 22.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game this season. The Las Vegas Aces may not be playing their best basketball, but Wilson is doing whatever she can to lead the team to some victories.
For Reese, in her second year in the league, she's averaging 14.0 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. At this point, it may be safe to say that Reese is the best rebounder in the league because she's been getting 10-plus in her past few games, and it's been like that for most of the season.
Wilson and Reese are definitely two of the best at their position, and they have the stats to show.

Taylor Swift reveals ‘Life of a Showgirl' album cover, track list and release date on Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast
The new release is Swift's 12th album. It's no longer a cruel summer. Taylor Swift officially announced her new album The Life of a Showgirl on Aug. 12. And one day later, she shared more details about the upcoming work — including the cover art, track list and release date — as well as other surprises during her appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights. Fans noticed Swift was up to something earlier in the day, when a cryptic countdown was posted on Swift's "Taylor Nation" Instagram Story. The countdown led to 7 p.m. — when the New Heights podcast episode was set to drop. The post showed a glowing orange door, the same one that appeared on stage behind Swift during the Eras tour, as well as a link to Swift's website, which featured the same image, with the door slowly descending. Over the course of four hours, on every hour, four squares with locks at the center appeared next to the door. First there was an orange lock, then pink, then blue and finally white. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that in the center of each lock, where a key would be placed, was the same shape as the stage layout at the Eras tour. When 7 p.m. arrived, Swift's website revealed the cover of The Life of a Showgirl, which featured Swift in a sparkling outfit, laying in a pool of green water. The four squares corresponded to deluxe editions of the album. All are available until Aug. 16, while supplies last. Swift's Instagram post revealed the release date of the new album: Oct. 3. Swift also talked about what inspired the 12 songs that were written during her time on tour, calling it a look at what went on "behind the curtain" in her personal life. She said that unlike her albums Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department, which came with surprise additional songs, there would only be the already revealed 12 tracks on this album. Swift explained that the new work "comes from the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life, and so that effervescence has come through on this record." A video posted to social media ahead of Swift's Miami performance on Oct. 18, 2024, showed the artist standing in front of section A12 — a clue as to when her album announcement would arrive. That night, she also performed her 1989 album set in orange and green — the colors of the Miami Hurricanes, in whose home stadium Swift performed, and also a hint at the aesthetic of the album to come. And one of the bigger clues came in the official music video for 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,' which featured backstage moments from the Eras tour. At tight end in 2025, there's a clear dividing line. George Kittle, Brock Bowers and Trey McBride aren't just the top three on my board — they're in their own tier, a category reserved for players who project as the unquestioned No. 1 target earners of their offenses. People will debate which one should be ranked first, but the reality is they're all true TE1s. If you land any of them, you're drafting the focal point of an NFL passing game. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] McBride led all tight ends with a 29.3% target share and topped the position in expected fantasy points per game (19.2), turning that into 111 receptions, 1,146 yards and 15.6 fantasy points per game — second-best at the position. Bowers commanded a position-leading 153 targets, finishing first in receptions (112), yards (1,194) and yards after the catch (596), while matching McBride's fantasy output at 15.5 points per game. His ability to create downfield separation (2.09 yards) and post a 27.8% dominator rating as a rookie is absurd. At cost, he's one of the few tight ends outside the elite tier who can realistically lead his team in touchdowns. Ja'Tavion Sanders, Panthers – Bryce Young needs middle-of-the-field weapons, and Sanders' second-year jump could be real. Practically free, with room to grow into a key target-earner. Sleepers to Watch Elijah Arroyo, Seahawks – Seattle's rookie from Miami is one of the best downfield weapons in the 2025 tight end class. Right now, his path to fantasy relevance may only require beating out AJ Barner for the starting job. In an offense with Cooper Kupp underneath and Jaxon Smith-Njigba stretching the field across multiple formations, Arroyo could carve out chunk plays as soon as Year 1. Tyler Conklin, Chargers – Conklin isn't going to break fantasy scoring records, but in deep formats he's a free square for a steady floor. The Chargers will be without LT Rashawn Slater, meaning quick throws to safety valves like Conklin could be a bigger part of Justin Herbert's plan. With Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey commanding coverage, Conklin should see favorable 1-on-1s — a solid waiver-wire TE who won't give you a zero. Zach Ertz, Commanders – A 34-year-old veteran with little dynasty appeal but sneaky 2025 value. With Terry McLaurin's status in Washington up in the air, Ertz steps in as Jayden Daniels' likely security blanket. His ability to find soft spots in coverage makes him a high-floor streaming option who could easily outproduce ADP. 1 Fade at Cost Sam LaPorta, Lions – I love the talent, but he's coming off the board as TE4 in most drafts — three spots ahead of my ranking. We don't know what Detroit's offense will look like under new leadership, and paying elite capital for a player in a changing system is a bet I'm not willing to make right now. Final Word If you're going to spend up, spend for the ceiling. The safest path is securing one of the top three and walking away from the position until bye week. If you miss, attack the late rounds with upside swings — because the gap between TE12 and TE24 isn't as wide as most think.

West Virginia athletic department agrees to partnership with local mulch company
On the same day Kansas received a record-breaking $300 million donation, one of the Jayhawks' Big 12 counterparts secured a deal of its own. West Virginia has agreed to a multi-year partnership with Grant County Mulch that makes the company the official mulch supplier of the Mountaineers' athletic department, the university announced August 13. Based in Petersburg, West Virginia, about 90 miles southeast of West Virginia's Morgantown campus, Grant County Mulch is the largest bulk mulch supplier in the country, according to the Mountaineers' release.
