Could March Madness be expanded?
The current NCAA Tournament setup has been that 68 teams qualify. Eight teams play in the First Four, with the four winners moving on to the first round of 64 teams.
Now it appears the NCAA might be in favor of increasing the number of spots to 72 or 76 as soon as the 2026 NCAA Tournament. It's unclear whether the final number would include early play-in games like the current First Four setup, though it seems likely.

It seems that at least some coaches are in favor of the idea -- which makes sense, since an expanded field would give more teams a shot at entry and all that comes with it. Others might argue that the current field is the correct size.
Is more basketball necessarily better? Or is the NCAA going a bit too big?

‘Leave fawns alone': Ohio Division of Wildlife issues another alert

**Related Video Above: Ohio troopers rescue baby deer from side of busy highway (Credit: Ohio State Highway Patrol) CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Ohio Division of Wildlife is continuing to ask people to go against their instinct and leave baby deer in place should they come upon any that appear abandoned. 'You took this from a 4-year-old': Parma grandfather's plea after flamingo stolen 'Please leave fawns alone,' the Division of Wildlife wrote in a Facebook post Monday, along with a photo similar to the one below: 'This is completely normal behavior for a deer fawn, and human intervention is unnecessary,' the division said in the post. This was a reiteration of a post from earlier this spring urging Ohioans to leave the little deer in peace. Rescue photos: Deer gets stuck on rocks behind Rock Hall Mother deer reportedly do not spend a lot of time with their nearly scentless offspring in order to keep fawns safe from predators. Often in cities, that means fawns appear to be left behind near people's homes and gardens, but their mothers will visit multiple times a day. If you believe a fawn has actually been abandoned or is in danger, reach out to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your area. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. UNC baseball gets Luke Stevenson replacement with transfer portal commitment

UNC baseball gets Luke Stevenson replacement with transfer portal commitment Can UNC's first baseball transfer portal commitment make an immediate impact in 2026? Georgia State transfer catcher Colin Hynek has committed to North Carolina. In 2025, he hit .230 with 18 HRs and 45 RBIs, leading the team in homers and ranking fourth in RBIs and total bases. He had a .586 SLG, .396 OBP, and 36 walks. — Chris Smith (@chrismithunc) June 7, 2025 The UNC baseball team is extremely lucky to have Luke Stevenson behind the dish, but his time in Chapel Hill is likely coming to an end after the current season. Stevenson, mocked to be a first-round pick in July's MLB Draft, is a do-it-all catcher. Stevenson is the Diamond Heels' top power source, mashing 19 home runs, while he's also a defensive stalwart with only two errors. With Stevenson likely gone in 2026, North Carolina needs an answer at catcher. UNC also carries Liberty transfer Macaddin Dye behind the plate, plus Juco transfer Rom Kellis, but wants to add another option. The Diamond Heels are hoping that their latest roster addition is their answer behind the dish. On Saturday, North Carolina secured a commitment from Georgia State transfer Colin Hynek, who started 105 of the 132 games he played in Atlanta. Like Stevenson, Hynek is also a power threat at the plate, mashing 33 home runs and driving in 91 runs across thre seasons. By coming to Chapel Hill, Hynek will have a significantly better shot at competing for a championship. Georgia State just completed a 26-30 campaign and hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2009, while UNC is playing in the Super Regional round for a second-consecutive season. If you're following recent transactions across college baseball, there's plenty of transfers already in the portal, particularly from the Virginia Cavaliers. The Diamond Heels will benefit from adding more starting pitching to their 2026 roster, while more hitting power couldn't hurt. The move elevates Sobot AI with five pillars, including Omnichannel AI, Scenario-Based AI, Multi-Faceted AI, Generative AI and Secure AI to create an experience-led, easy-to-use, and efficiency-driven solution. Sobot Aims to Deliver Intelligent yet More Human-like Service AI has quickly become central to digital transformation in customer service. According to MarketsandMarkets, the global AI-for-customer-service market was valued at USD 12.06 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 47.82 billion by 2030. Yet 52% of customers prefer human interaction for its empathy, while another 42% favor a blend of AI and human support. While some customers find AI insufficiently human, its adoption in customer service is now irreversible. Customer service solution providers must therefore balance customer expectations with the power of AI. "Fed up with limited contextual comprehension, inflexible responses, and poor emotional perception, customers want their needs understood and met," said Yi Xu, CEO of Sobot. "Our 'AI-First' strategy doesn't just automate processes; it aims to provide intelligent but more human-like services." Highlight of Sobot's AI-First Strategy: Five Pillars of Next-Gen AI Omnichannel AI - Ensuring Seamless, Efficient Experience Across All Channels Sobot AI integrates websites, mobile apps, social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, plus email, phone calls and SMS. Sobot AI is also powered by several SLMs (Small Language Models), which is helpful to create industry-oriented solutions, enhancing the accuracy and professionalism of customer service. Secure AI - Guaranteeing Global Data Privacy and Compliance Sobot aligns its platform with country-specific regulations and holds a number of internationally recognized certifications in information, cloud, and system security. Regional data centers in the United States, Europe, Singapore, and other locations ensure reliable performance worldwide. Sobot is Committed to Reshaping Customer Service with Humanized AI Alongside its "AI-First" strategy, Sobot has refreshed its website, especially the AI Solution page so customers can easily learn more about the basic features, use cases, benefits, and more of Sobot AI. And just as what is shown in its website, Sobot's new generation of AI is committed to creating "experience-led, easy-to-use and efficiency-driven AI for CX". Xu added, "Our strategy prioritizes customer experience, but it is equally valuable for businesses. The five pillars are its cornerstone, yet their essence is humanization. Sobot will continue to practice this vision, helping more customers and companies reshape service through humanized AI."
