Liverpool star to agree transfer reunion after two arrivals in huge shake-up
Liverpool's goalkeeping department is undergoing huge change this summer, and Czech stopper Vitezslav Jaros is on the verge of becoming the second first-team keeper to depart Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros will team up with former Reds assistant coach John Heitinga at Ajax with a loan move close to being agreed for the 23-year-old. Czech goalkeeper Jaros served as third-choice stopper for the Reds in the past season, making two appearances for the first-team. Last October he came on for the final 11 minutes of the 1-0 Premier League victory at Crystal Palace following an injury to Alisson Becker, with Caoimhin Kelleher absent at Selhurst Park through illness. He followed that up by playing the full 90 minutes as the Reds beat Brighton 3-2 in the Carabao Cup later that same month. Heitinga has now identified Jaros as the perfect addition to his goalkeeping ranks after joining Ajax as the new head coach, and he'll be eyeing the No.1 spot after 41-year-old veteran Remko Pasveer played 43 times in the past season in all competitions. The loan will be Jaros' fifth away from Liverpool, but the first since he has tasted first-team football for the Reds. He has previously had temporary stints at St Patrick's Athletic in Ireland, Football League pair Notts County and Stockport County and Austrian side Sturm Graz, where he won a league and cup double. Jaros is expected to sign a new long-term contract at Anfield prior to making the move to Amsterdam, with his switch coming at a time of huge change in the goalkeeping ranks at Anfield. With Kelleher having joined Brentford in an £18m deal this summer, Georgia international Giorgi Mamardashvili will link up with the Reds a year after agreeing his move from Valencia. Mamardashvili is primed to serve as Alisson's deputy in the coming season, with the No.3 role perhaps taken by new arrival Armin Pecsi, with the 20-year-old having completed a £1.5m move from Hungarian side Puskas Akademia last week. There are high hopes for the Hungary under-21 international, with his compatriot and new Reds team-mate Dominik Szoboszlai revealing his role in the move. Speaking to Hungarian outlet Nemzeti Sport about his message to Pecsi, Szoboszlai said: 'I say, come there and enjoy it! 'Work hard every day, I think you know exactly what your goal is, you're determined enough; otherwise, you wouldn't have gotten to the club. Hard work will pay off in time.'

Andy Robertson makes decision on leaving Liverpool for Atletico Madrid
Andy Robertson's stance on leaving Anfield has been revealed with Atletico Madrid determined to sign the Liverpool legend. An ever-present for the Reds since signing from Hull City in 2017 for just £8.5million, Robertson is considered one of the Premier League's greatest defenders. The left-back's trophy cabinet includes two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Club World Cup. After blossoming under Jurgen Klopp, the Scotland captain continued to perform well under Arne Slot last season, though his offensive influence dropped significantly, recording no goals and just two assists in 45 appearances. Liverpool have been looking at long-term replacements for the 31-year-old and appear to have found their man, with Milos Kerkex expected to join from AFC Bournemouth. As a result, Robertson's future at Anfield is up in the air, especially as he's entered the final year of his contract. It has now been reported by various outlets that Atletico have made Robertson a top target, with Diego Simeone needing a new left-back. Reinildo and Cesar Azpilicueta are both out of contract this summer and the Madrid club recently dropped their interest in AC Milan's Theo Hernandez. More Trending And, according to Fabrizio Romano, Robertson is indeed keen on joining the La Liga giants who are currently in the USA for the revamped Club World Cup, and talks over a transfer have already begun. Simeone has targeted several notable Premier League stars over the past few years, signing Azpilicueta and Conor Gallagher from Chelsea and Julian Alvarez from Manchester City Should he make the move, the Scot will directly come up against his former Reds teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold who has just completed his transfer to Real Madrid. Earlier this week, Robertson said there had been positive talks with Liverpool over his future, but he is still unclear what is ahead for him. 'We've had good discussions, me and the club, but what the future holds, I'm not sure,' he told Sky Sports. 'All I know is I fly off on holiday and it's well needed. I need a rest after a long season, and then I look forward to pre-season. That's all my focus is. 'I know the position I'm in, I know I've only got a year left. A lot's getting spoken about it, a lot's getting said, but my pure focus is focussing on being a dad for the next couple of weeks and enjoying that time with the kids.' Read the full quotes here.
