The 72nd Miss World 2025 Heritage Walk will be followed by a dinner at Chowmahalla Palace.
Ahead of the 72nd Miss World 2025 Heritage Walk on Tuesday, May 13, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued an advisory to inform commuters about upcoming traffic restrictions. According to officials, these restrictions will be in effect from 2 PM to 11 PM on Tuesday, during which several roads will be closed or diverted to facilitate the event.
The Miss World 2025 Heritage Walk will take place at Charminar, with a welcome dinner scheduled at the Chowmahalla Palace. According to the traffic police, restrictions will be imposed on routes from Madina to Charminar, Shalibanda, Volga Junction, and Moosabowli via Khilwat. Commuters have been urged to plan their travel accordingly.
Here are the diversion points:
1. Madina Junction: Traffic coming from Nayapool toward Charminar will be diverted at the Madina Junction toward City College.
2. Himmatpura: Vehicles on these points coming from Nagulchintha/Shalibanda areas toward Charminar will be diverted at Himmatpura Junction, toward Hari Bowli, and Volga Junction to Fateh Darwaza Road.
3. Volga Junction: The traffic from Himmatpura will be diverted toward Fateh Darwaza.
4. Moosabowli: All the vehicles from Puranapool will be diverted toward City College and Fateh Darwaza via Doodbowli.
6. Etebar Chowk: Vehicles coming at this point toward Gulzarhouse will be diverted toward Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazar.
7. Sher E Baitul Kaman: The vehicles will not be allowed towards Gulzar House but will be diverted at Mitti-ke-Sher Junction toward Ghansi Bazaar to reach High Court road.
8. Lakkad Kote: Those coming from the APAT side will be diverted at Lakkad Kote toward Mirlam Mandi Market.
Apart from the diversions, a couple of road junctions are also expected to experience heavy congestion. Some of them are Puranapool Darwaza, Good Will Cafe, M J Bridge, Delhi Gate, Nayapool, Dewan Devdi, Madina X Road, Mandi Kaman, Sheran Hotel, Kali Kaman, Punchmohalla, Relax Hotel, Moghalpura Kaman, Ganesh Book, Himmatpura Junction, Volga Junction, Laldarwaza X Road, and Aliabad Junction.
Further, live traffic updates will be shared on the Hyderabad Traffic Police's social media handles. Meanwhile, commuters need to take note of the travel advisory and plan their routes accordingly.
Earlier, the 72nd Miss World officially commenced on May 10, with a spectacular inauguration at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, setting the stage for a month-long celebration. The event will conclude on May 31.

Vehicles approaching Golconda Fort from Seven Tombs will be redirected via Jamali Darwaza, while traffic from GHMC Ground and GHMC Island will be diverted towards Mothi Mahal crossroads. Vehicles from Bada Bazar will be rerouted through GHMC Island, and local traffic from Chota Bazar will move via Mothi Darwaza. Traffic coming from Narsingi and Tippu Khan Bridge will be diverted at Ramdevguda junction. Designated parking has been arranged for various categories of visitors. VIPs, ministers and MLAs will park between Bala Hissar and Bada Bazar mosque, while senior government officials have been allotted space at Golconda bus stop. Other government and non-government dignitaries will use the football/boys ground opposite Golconda police station, and police and additional officials will park at GHMC/Owaisi Ground. Media personnel and awardees have been allocated parking at Area Hospital, Golconda, while general public and visitors may use parking at Seven Tombs, Deccan Park and HUDA Park. At Secunderabad Parade Grounds, traffic will be diverted at Tivoli Junction towards Brooke Bond and NCC Junction, with restrictions in place from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Authorities have urged residents near Golconda Fort not to park on main roads and to follow signage. Commuters are advised to plan alternative routes and stay updated via the Hyderabad traffic police's social media platforms, including Facebook and X. For travel assistance, the police have provided a helpline number (90102-03626).

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory in view of the Bonalu festivities on July 20 and 21, with diversions planned across old city, Amberpet, and Chilkalguda areas to ensure public safety and smooth movement of devotees. Traffic diversions will be enforced around Mahankali Temple in Amberpet from 6 a.m. on July 20 to 6 a.m. on July 22. Vehicles from Uppal heading towards Chaderghat or MGBS will have to use Amberpet flyover. Devotees visiting the temple will be allowed to park at the GHMC ground via the underpass. In case of heavy congestion, traffic from Uppal and Ali Café will be rerouted through D.D. Colony and Shivam Road. In Chilkalguda, movement around Katta Maisamma – Pochamma Temple will be restricted on July 20 and 21 between 5 a.m. and 11.00 p.m. Traffic coming from Seethaphalmandi and Allugadabavi will be diverted towards Warasiguda, Namalagundu, Padmarao Nagar, and surrounding areas. On July 21, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., restrictions will be in place for Simha Vaahini Sri Mahankali Lal Darwaza Bonalu procession in old city. Vehicular traffic will not be allowed on several routes leading to Lal Darwaza, Aliyabad, Nagulchinta, Gowlipura, Charminar and adjoining areas. Vehicles from Engine Bowli, Falaknuma, MBNR X Roads, and Kandikal Gate will be diverted towards alternate routes such as Tadban, Misrigunj, Khilwat and Ramaswamy Gunj. A complete shutdown of vehicular movement has been announced between Madina X Roads and Engine Bowli via Gulzar Houz, Charminar and Himmatpura till the conclusion of the procession. Heavy vehicles will be restricted from entering sensitive areas including Chatrinaka, Nayapul and Charminar. Dedicated parking areas have been arranged for devotees at locations including Alka Theatre, Arya Vyshya Mandir, VDP School Ground, Charminar Bus Terminal and others, depending on the route of entry. Public transport buses will not be allowed towards Charminar, Falaknuma and Nayapul, and will instead terminate at designated points such as Afzalgunj, Darulshifa X Roads and Engine Bowli.
