How to watch 2025 NBA draft lottery today: Time, TV channel
May 16, 2023; Chicago, IL, USA; A overall shot of the 2023 NBA Draft Lottery at McCormick Place West. Mandatory Credit: David Banks-USA TODAY Sports The 2025 NBA draft lottery has arrived. It's the biggest day of the year for 14 NBA franchises. As the NBA playoffs dwindle to eight teams, over two-thirds of the league have shifted to their offseason plans. What happens in the lottery will change the trajectories for plenty of teams. This year's grand prize will be Duke's Cooper Flagg. He's been a highly-touted prospect for years and flourished with the Blue Devils last season. He'll surely be the top choice. Advertisement While they battle the Denver Nuggets in Round 2, the Oklahoma City Thunder will also keep their eyes on the lottery. They own the Philadelphia 76ers' top-six protected pick. They acquired it in a 2020 trade that landed them Al Horford. Lorenzo Musetti avoids disqualification after kicking a ball at a line judge
Italian eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti was lucky not to be disqualified from the French Open after kicking a ball at a line judge. In the second set of his quarter-final against American Frances Tiafoe, Musetti booted the ball in frustration and it hit the woman, standing about three metres away, in the chest. Advertisement Tiafoe looked stunned at the other end of the court and gestured towards the umpire, who eventually gave Musetti a code violation. There were echoes of Novak Djokovic being defaulted at the 2020 US Open after accidentally hitting a female line judge with a ball. Tiafoe, the 15th seed, said: 'I mean, obviously he did that and nothing happened. I think that's comical, but it is what it is. 'Nothing happened, so there's nothing really to talk about. Obviously it's not consistent, so it is what it is.' Former player-turned broadcaster Rennae Stubbs wrote on X: 'Wow Musetti is very lucky to be still on court right now. You cannot kick a ball and it hit the lines person and not be defaulted.' Advertisement Musetti, who reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon last year, won the match 6-2 4-6 7-5 6-2 to progress to the last four at Roland Garros for the first time. He said: 'Yeah, I was a little bit, honestly, scared, because I really didn't want to harm nobody, of course. 'So I immediately went to the line umpire, and I of course said 'sorry', I apologise to everyone. 'It was right to have a warning, but I think the umpire saw that there was no intention about that, and that's why probably just, you know, let me continue my game.' The French Open is the only one of the four grand slams to still use line judges rather than electronic line calling.

$43 Million Star PGA Tour Golfer in Great Danger of Missing U.S. Open
$43 Million Star PGA Tour Golfer in Great Danger of Missing U.S. Open originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The 2025 U.S. Open is set to tee off from June 12–15 at Oakmont Country Club, but one notable name may not be in the field, Max Homa. A six-time PGA Tour winner and fan favorite, Homa came heartbreakingly close to securing a spot but fell dramatically short. Advertisement Playing in the final qualifier at Kinsale Golf and Fitness Club in Powell, Ohio, Homa went old school: no caddie, just grit. He carried his own bag for 38 holes on what's famously called "Golf's Longest Day." For 35.5 holes, it looked like the gamble would pay off. But on the 18th green, a three-putt par cost him a guaranteed spot and pushed him into a five-man playoff for one last berth. That playoff featured Rickie Fowler, Eric Cole, Chase Johnson and Cameron Young. Young sealed his place with a birdie on the second playoff hole, officially shutting the door on Homa. Max Homa reacts to a missed birdie putt on the eighth green during the third round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in DublinAdam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images 'I'd much rather talk about the golf instead of all the questions about the caddie,' Homa said afterward per Outkick, sidestepping the ongoing buzz about his split with longtime caddie Joe Greiner and the short-lived partnership with Bill Harke. Despite being a seasoned pro, Homa's decision to forgo even a local caddie remains puzzling. Now, he'll turn to the RBC Canadian Open this week in hopes of turning things around. Advertisement As per recent stats, Homa's career earnings stand at $43,028,560, with $40.5 million coming from PGA Tour events and nearly $2.5 million from majors. While his bank account is impressive, his 2025 season hasn't been. He started the year ranked 41st in the world and has now slipped to 90th. Missing the U.S. Open would only deepen that slide.
