Chiefs' Travis Kelce Mom Lands Major Spot On Reality TV Show originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has taken much of the family spotlight this offseason. His relationship with pop music princess Taylor Swift continues to capture the hearts of the many while the build-up to his farewell tour increases by the day.
Kelce will retire from the NFL after this season. He, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of Chiefs Kingdom hope to pull out one more run to the Super Bowl.
When that time ultimately comes for him to move on from the game, don't expect the Kelce family to go away from the public eye. Travis and his brother, Jason, co-host the "New Heights" podcast which has been quite successful.
Even the family's matriarch Donna Kelce has found her way into the spotlight. In fact, she had a major announcement this week that will be sure to provide more Kelce content.
Both Donna and Jason will participate in season four of the reality TV series "The Traitors." She made her announcement official with a post on Instagram captioned, "Sundays were just the beginning. I raised the two playmakers, but now it's mamas turn."
The show will begin streaming on Peacock and has begun filming in Scotland. Donna and Jason will be joined by a number of reality TV stars from other programs along with a group of celebrities including Michael Rapoport and Tara Lipinksi.
"The Traitors" splits contestants up into two categories of "Faithfuls" and "Traitors." The cast must decipher which among them are the "Traitors," picking a player each night to "murder."
While Donna and Jason embark on this exciting new venture, Travis remains at home preparing for his final season. The next step on that journey comes next week when the Chiefs get started with their mandatory minicamp on June 17.

Cameras Catch Rory McIlroy Meltdown at Oakmont Club in US Open

Cameras Catch Rory McIlroy Meltdown at Oakmont Club in US Open originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Cameras in the grandstands and on broadcasting towers were rolling as Rory McIlroy reached his breaking point during the second round of the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. Advertisement After misplacing his drive at the drivable par‑4 17th, McIlroy spun around in frustration and unleashed a powerful swing, obliterating the white tee marker with his driver. The outburst quickly went viral on social media, underscoring just how punishing Oakmont can be. He was not the only one; several others, like Scottie Scheffler and Shane Lowry, also lost their cool during the event. Despite that meltdown and an earlier club‑throw on the par‑5 12th, McIlroy rallied when it mattered most. After flirting with disaster through much of his round, he rolled in a clutch five‑foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to card a 72 and squeeze past the cutline at six‑over par. He has played a tough Open and performed poorly before so this emotion isn't new." A fan commented. Advertisement "Was glad to see him get the slam but hard to root for a guy who behaves like this" Another said. "Good thing he won at Augusta cuz my man does not handle failure any better than a petulant child." One fan posted. "Classless behavior from Rory McIlroy. Don't judge someone's character from how they act in victory, judge it by how they act in defeat. Rory has no class." Another wrote. "My kids are happily watching the US Open and just saw Rory McIlroy destroy the tee marker. They are scarred for life, asked me to turn it off. What a terrible example he just set" A fan expressed. Advertisement "For someone who's carried the PGA Tour's banner. Rory McIlroy's recent behavior, media silence, outbursts, board drama, feels off. Not a great look. ⛳️👀" Another said. "I can multi-task, especially during TIMEOUTS" - Stephen A. Smith lies while addressing viral photo of him playing solitaire during Game 4 of 2025 Finals

"I can multi-task, especially during TIMEOUTS" - Stephen A. Smith lies while addressing viral photo of him playing solitaire during Game 4 of 2025 Finals originally appeared on Basketball Network. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith was at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch Game 4 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers. But while he was supposed to pay close attention to what was happening on the basketball court in order to analyze the game correctly, he was caught playing solitaire on his phone while the game was underway. Advertisement When the photo went viral, Smith immediately took to X (formerly Twitter) to defend himself by saying he was merely looking for something else to do during a timeout. "Yep! That's me," wrote Smith. "Who would've thought… I can multi-task. Especially during TIMEOUTS! Hope y'all are enjoying the NBA Finals. This is going 7 games now, peeps!" Caught in a lie Another netizen roasted Smith with a video of the incident — it was clear that he was playing the card game on his phone while the basketball game was underway. Stephen A. then posted a second tweet — a screenshot of his mobile phone screen, trying to show that he was half playing games and half watching the Finals. Kevin Durant, one of the players who has been beefing with Smith for a long time, couldn't help but react by reposting the photo on his Instagram account. Smith infamously called Durant's signing with the Golden State Warriors in 2016 the "weakest move" by an NBA superstar. Last year, he also questioned Durant's ability to lead a team and the superstar forward went on to call Smith a "clown." Smith vs. Haliburton Most recently, Smith beefed with Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton after the latter criticized the NBA media after Game 3. Advertisement The Pacers star called out the NBA talking heads, saying most of them don't know anything about basketball. Even if Haliburton did not target a specific name in his criticism, Smith assumed that he was talking about him. Instead of answering Hali's comments with arguments, Smith boasted about his 30-year broadcasting career and warned Haliburton that many have criticized him, but no one has ever shut him down. "Unfortunately, a lot of guys are not as fortunate as I am from this standpoint," Smith said. "They have to talk to you. I don't get paid to talk to you. I get paid to talk about you. Whether I speak or whatever it is, you don't stop this train. It is a locomotive because, you know, we've been No.1 for 13 straight years." Unfortunately, Haliburton hasn't reacted to the video of Smith playing solitaire during Game 4 of the Finals. After all, he has more important things on his mind. Advertisement The Pacers allowed the Thunder to steal Game 4 111-104 after a late comeback led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The series is now tied at two games apiece. Bills GM Shares New James Cook Update Amid Contract Drama

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The Buffalo Bills appear to be one of the top Super Bowl contenders in the AFC heading into the upcoming 2025 NFL season. However, there are some major questions that the team will need to answer. One of those questions has to do with the future of starting running back James Cook. Throughout the course of the offseason, the Bills and Cook have been locked into a contract situation. Cook wants a new deal and an aggressive pay raise, while Buffalo has not seemed interested in giving him what he wants in a new deal. Photo byCook was a huge part of the team's offense in 2024. He was an end zone threat and a playmaker on the ground to take pressure off of Josh Allen and the passing game. Brandon Beane, the Bills' general manager, spoke out recently with a new update on Cook and the contract situation the two sides are facing. "Our interactions with Jimbo have been good the whole time throughout," Beane said. "I know he wasn't here (earlier this offseason), so everyone just draws their own conclusions. When you're talking about it, it's voluntary. We know that, we've had (players miss) it before, even with players who weren't lobbying for a new contract or anything like that." Basically, Beane does not seem too worried about the team's current status with Cook. He didn't touch on anything to do with potential progress with the running back, but he doesn't see any major situations to worry about right now. During the 2024 NFL season with Buffalo, Cook played in 16 games. He carried the football 207 times for 1,009 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. In addition, he caught 32 passes for 258 yards and two more scores. It remains to be seen if they'll be able to do that. Hopefully, there will be no more drama between the two sides. Cook may leave next offseason if he doesn't get a new deal from Buffalo, but he could still be a very important piece towards pursuing a championship in 2025. It will be interesting to see what the future holds between the Bills and their star running back. For more Buffalo Bills and NFL news, head over to Newsweek Sports.
