I've really gotten to know the camera, and I love having something that's so high quality but still so easy to carry around. It offers a different, no-nonsense form of shooting that my other cameras don't, and sure, the Leica badge still gives me something of a thrill when I see it.
I've taken over 25,000 photos with the camera in my time owning it so far, and I've put together a selection of my favorites here for you to scroll through. Most images are captured as JPEGs, taking advantage of the camera's built-in Chrome color profile, which gives a beautiful look to the colors and contrast.

Safety advice for Scots as 'danger to life' warning issued for Storm Floris
STORM Floris will batter parts of the UK on Monday with unseasonably strong winds, the Met Office has announced. A yellow warning for wind has been issued for northern parts of the country from 6am on Monday to 6am on Tuesday. The latest named storm of 2025 will bring 'unusually windy weather' for this time of year and heavy rainfall is also forecast, the Met Office said. Many inland parts of the warning area will see westerly gusts of 40-50mph and exposed coasts and high ground could see them reach 70mph. There is a chance that winds could reach 85mph on Scottish coastlines and hills. It added: 'Winds will first ease in the west during later Monday but remaining very strong overnight until early Tuesday in the east. 'Heavy rain may also contribute to the disruption in places.' The warning zone covers Scotland, parts of Northern Ireland, north Wales and the north of England. How to stay safe amid Storm Floris Now, safety advice has been issued by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Adrian Simpson, Head of Policy at RoSPA, said: 'We understand how tempting it can be to stick with summer plans — whether it's a coastal walk, a camping trip, or a garden gathering — but Storm Floris presents real risks. "With strong winds and heavy rain forecast, we're urging everyone to take the yellow warning seriously. Simple steps like securing outdoor items, avoiding unnecessary travel, and checking on vulnerable neighbours can make a big difference in staying safe.' Here are some important safety tips to help you stay safe: Secure loose objects: Ensure that any loose items outside your home, such as garden furniture, are secured or brought indoors to prevent them from being blown away. Avoid travel: If possible, avoid traveling during the peak of the storm. If you must travel, check the weather forecast and road conditions before setting off. Stay indoors: Stay inside during the storm, especially during the yellow warning period from 06:00 Monday to 06:00 Tuesday. Prepare for power cuts: Have an emergency kit ready with essentials such as torches, batteries, and non-perishable food in case of power outages. Stay away from windows: Keep away from windows and glass doors to avoid injury from flying debris. Charge your devices: Ensure your mobile phone and other essential devices are fully charged. Check on vulnerable neighbours: If it is safe to do so, ensure that they are secure and have everything they need. He said: 'Today's earnings made me feel like we'd forgotten the impact of all the tariff turmoil on the consumer. Some of the decline, I think, was an overreaction. People got used to this cruise line just crushing the high end of the estimates. Didn't happen.' When he came on the show last week, first, Liberty confirmed that its… consumers perceive Royal Caribbean cruises as a better value than a land-based vacation, reinforcing my view the cruise lines can still do fine even in a softer economy. Second, he cited its own bookings and on-ship spending data from recent voyages saying matter-of-factly, 'that cash register continues to ring and be consistent.' Since the above comment was made, Royal Caribbean (NYSE:RCL) stock is up over 61%. Public consultation begins into parking charges at three 'destination' Birmingham parks
The formal consultation into the city council's plans to charge motorists to park at three 'destination' Birmingham parks has begun. Birmingham City Council is now asking for the public's feedback on its proposals to introduce charges for drivers to park at Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, Lickey Hills Country park on the Birmingham Worcestershire border and at Sheldon Country Park, which is close to Birmingham Airport and is popular with plane spotters. The consultation will run from Friday, August 1 to Friday, August 29, across the summer school holiday period. Read more: Anger as Brum Council pushes ahead with 'unjust' park charges The city council says 'introducing charges at these parks will be bring Birmingham in line with similar places around the UK to offset the cost of maintaining these destination sites'. It says the charges are 'necessary' to 'help sustain, protect and maintain our 660 parks and green spaces'. The Sutton Park consultation plans to charge motorists who park after the first 30 minutes of any stay. The charges for most vehicles will be £1 from 30 minutes to an hour, £2 for one to two hours, £3 for two to three hours, £4 for three to four hours and £5 for for four to nine hours. Charges would apply from 9am until 6pm daily, every day of the year. A season ticket will also be offered at £52 a year for the public, £39 to business applicants and free for volunteers. The charges will not include the Browns and Miller and Carter restaurant car parks, the Paddock car park near Town Gate and Midland Lodge which was put up for sale earlier this year. The Lickey Hills Country Park consultation says the proposed charges are £1 an hour for up to four hours, £5 for all day and £28 for coach parking at Beacon Hill only. The charges will apply 365 days a year from 9am to 6pm. There will also be a £52 season ticket offer. Blue badge holders can park for free. The Sheldon Country Park consultation proposes charges that will be slightly cheaper. Again the first 30 minutes is free, then the proposal is to charge 75p for 30 minute to an hour, £1.50 for one to two hours, £2.25 for two to three hours and £3.50 for upwards of three hours for the rest of the day. Charges are again proposed from 9am to 6pm every day. And a season ticket at £52 will also be offered, or £39 for businesses and free for volunteers. 'Whether you use these parks for walking, cycling, exercising or meeting up with people, we want to hear your views on rate of charging and when we you should be charged. 'We are also aware of potential impact of displacement parking and will therefore be looking at traffic restrictions in existing hotspot areas and any need for further restrictions following residents' feedback.'
