aipur: In a meeting with govt school teachers held Sunday, officials said allotment of English-medium schools in every district for teachers will be completed within one week.
After recruitment in Aug last year, selected candidates have been waiting for postings in English-medium schools.
Teachers, under the banner of Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh (Rashtriya), held talks with the education secretary and the director of secondary education regarding 25 points. In the meeting, consensus was reached on many demands, including giving posting to teachers in Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Govt schools within a week and Vivekananda Model Schools this month.
Along with this, officials agreed to work on removing salary discrepancies, reducing the burden of non-educational work of teachers, and holding district-level educational conferences in Sept and state-level educational conferences in Nov.
Ramesh Chandra Pushkarna, president of the organisation, said, "In the meeting, many demands were put forward, including starting Balvatika in 19,500 schools and keeping a minimum of 5 posts of Grade-II category teachers intact, including Hindi, English, and Social Science, in the new staffing pattern for secondary education.
Along with this, discussions were held on filling 15,000 out of 38,000 new posts as per the staffing pattern in this session itself.

On the transfer of teachers, education secretary Krishna Kunal said it will be started as soon as the chief minister gives permission.
In the meeting teachers also raised the issue of difficulty in mandatory Aadhaar and Jan Adhaar verification for generating APAAR IDs of students along with other schemes in rural areas. An agreement was reached on organizing time-bound camps at the district level to resolve such problems.

BJP believes in inclusive politics: Jaiswal
Bhagalpur: State BJP president and former revenue minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal on Sunday said the party believes in inclusive politics by taking along everyone in society and works for betterment of people across the state and the nation. He was addressing a meeting, 'Pradesh Gangota Mahasammelan', organized by Gangota caste members in Bhagalpur. The party president also inaugurated 'Baba Anant Das Smriti Shatabadi Samaroh'. Referring to Baba Anant Das, the state BJP president said that Baba was a real saint and was a devotee of Lord Ram since his childhood. "We should follow the preachings of Baba Anant Das," Jaiswal said. Former state EBC commission chairperson and ex-teacher in the department of English at Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) Ratan Mandal said the Gangota community members always stood for upliftment of society and social justice. He also appealed the community members to unite and strengthen the hands of NDA. Present on the occasion were Pirpainty MLA Aman Kumar, Kahalgaon MLA Pawan Yadav, state secretary Anil Thakur, district BJP president Santosh Sah, Shrikant Kushwaha besides several others.

Congress MP Surjewala says RSS
Jhajjar (Haryana) [India], June 8 (ANI): Congress MP Randeep Surjewala on Sunday, alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had aligning with the British during India's freedom struggle and opposing the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Speaking to reporters here, Surjewala said, 'RSS never participated in the country's freedom struggle. They were with the British... Crores of people in this country contributed to the freedom struggle, and their leader was Mahatma Gandhi. I know RSS hates Mahatma Gandhi and worships Nathuram Godse.' He further framed the current political discourse as a clash of ideologies, stating, 'In this country, there is a battle between the ideologies of Godse and Gandhi. On one side, there is the ideology of Gandhi, which created India. On the other hand, there is an ideology of Godse who wants to divide the whole country based on regionalism, caste, and religion.' His remark came after RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasised the collective nature of India's freedom struggle, stating that the country's independence was the result of widespread efforts beginning with the 1857 uprising, and not the achievement of any single individual. Addressing a book release event in Nagpur as the chief guest, Bhagwat said, 'There is always a debate about due to whose efforts the country attained independence. But the reality is that this independence didn't come about due to just one individual. Efforts for this started in 1857, and the fire ignited everywhere; after that, the fire never died down. The efforts continued, and with everyone's collective efforts, we attained independence.' Explaining the importance of collective thought and construction, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, 'The direction of the Sangh (RSS) is decided by collective thought, the work of the Sangh is not the work of one or two people, the Sangh whatever one does and whatever one says, it is a collective decision.' Earlier on June 5, the RSS chief strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and lauded the Indian Army's swift and effective response while urging all political forces to maintain the spirit of unity that emerged in its aftermath.
