Tony Robbins is a world-famous life coach who's best known for his live events and motivational speaking tours. But as a best-selling author, he also knows a thing or two about the power of a good book. Robbins frequently stresses the value of reading and claimed in an interview to have devoured 700 books before he turned 18.

A literary resume like that is too vast to chronicle concisely, so GOBankingRates highlighted the top three books that Robbins recommends for their ability to teach ordinary people extraordinary skills for success.
Although Tony Robbins is not known for his athletic endeavors, one of his most recommended books is from none other than — sorry, Joe Montana fans — the undisputed greatest quarterback of all time: Tom Brady.
On his Facebook page, which was linked to an endorsement of the book 'The TB12 Method,' Robbins referred to Brady as his 'dear friend.' On his YouTube channel, Robbins revealed why he doesn't think it matters that Brady's specialty is football because his true skill is winning.
'Now in his 40s and still considered one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, Tom Brady knows a thing or two about performing at an elite level,' Robbins wrote. 'In this book, Tom Brady discusses his strategies for succeeding on and off the field.'

'As A Man Thinketh' is a classic that delves into the art of thinking. It reveals how — when pursued as a skill and a science — critical thinking can solve every problem a person encounters.
Robbins wrote on his Facebook page, ''As a Man Thinketh' by James Allen is a book everyone should read. I've read it more than a dozen times and I often gift it because it's concise, easy to read, but also deeply profound. For anyone who wants to understand how your thoughts really, truly shape everything in your life that you feel and experience, this book is a must-read.'
Like Tom Brady, Ray Dalio's niche is not one that most people aspire to — but as the founder of Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in the world, his true specialty is success.
Also like Brady, Robbins believes ordinary people can apply the lessons of Dalio's book 'Principles' to any endeavor they pursue. On the book's official page, Amazon quotes Robbins as saying, 'Ray Dalio has an uncanny capacity to understand what is happening in the world and develop principles that allow him to prepare for what's ahead. 'Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order' is a must-read full of insights into where the world is today and where it's going.'

The 13 Best Opening Night Live Trailers at Gamescom 2025

Europe's big gaming event of the year, Gamescom 2025, has kicked off with Opening Night Live, an extensive trailer showcase giving early looks at the biggest games coming later this year and into 2026. Last year's Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live had a ton of reveals, including Mafia: The Old Country and trailers for then-upcoming games like Marvel Rivals, Dune Awakening and more. This year's showcase had some big reveals and some tantalizingly short teases -- like around 20 seconds of Silksong, the long-awaited sequel/spinoff to indie darling Hollow Night. Below are the biggest trailers for the two-hour Opening Night Live event. Fallout: Season 2 Amazon's Fallout show was a delightful surprise, faithfully adapting a beloved gaming franchise -- and just being pretty darn good. Gamescom 2025 features the debut trailer of the second season, which arrives Dec. 17, as well as an on-stage chat with the showrunners and stars Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 We got our first long look at the story, which mixes cerebral mindscapes with your typical fast-paced Call of Duty combat. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice anime Yes, FromSoftware's cult favorite samurai game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is getting an anime adaptation called Sekiro: No Defeat. The trailer shows the game's protagonist, swordsman Wolf, both before and after he receives his prosthetic arm -- suggesting we could see things both before and during the course of the original game. The anime will debut on Crunchyroll at an unstated date. Resident Evil: Requiem We got a brief look at Resident Evil: Requiem (aka Resident Evil 9) at Summer Game Fest, but this trailer shows a peek at player character Grace Ashcroft and her mother -- before things get bad. Details are scarce about the story, though Capcom has insisted that the game will lean way more into horror and terror than other recent entries in the series, like the run-and-gun Resident Evil 8. Black Myth Wukong sequel revealed Chinese developer Game Science wowed the games world with Black Myth Wukong, and Gamescom 2025 featured the reveal trailer of the next game in its series, Black Myth: Zhong Kui, which will be another action-adventure game based on Chinese myth -- in this case, the ghost-catching god Zhong Kui. Monster Hunter Wilds x Final Fantasy 14 Well this is fun: a crossover between two of the biggest games in the world, Monster Hunter Wilds, which was released earlier this year, and perennial MMORPG Final Fantasy 14. Both games will get content from each other -- here's the trailer for the Monster Hunter Wilds portion coming late October and here's one for the Final Fantasy 14 portion coming late September. Silent Hill F The next big Silent Hill game got another trailer and plenty of teases for the lore of the title, which is set in the 1960s in Japan. Onimusha: Way of the Sword It's been nearly 20 years since the last new Onimusha game came out, and now we've got another look at Onimusha: Way of the Sword -- which looks to preserve the originals' sword-and-parry combat with other magical weapons. Demons, bosses and brutal executions abound in the Onimusha trailer. Cronos: The New Dawn Bloober Team's follow-up to last year's Silent Hill 2 remake, we got another look at Cronos: The New Dawn. This peek showed some of the gameplay for its third-person shooter combat as well as a ton of the hideous monsters you'll encounter in the game, which launches soon, on Sept. 5. Outer Worlds 2 Obsidian's sequel to the space action RPG Outer Worlds got a trailer showcasing the companions you'll meet and fight alongside in the game. "And no, you can't sleep with them," the trailer voiceover cheekily pointed out. Boooo. Ninja Gaiden 4 The next trailer for Ninja Gaiden 4 includes looks at boss fights, including giant robots and futuristic samurai with stylized armor. While demons and ninja fights are still in the game, the futuristic setting looks more prominent than we'd previously seen. Ghost of Yotei Another trailer from the upcoming sequel to Ghost of Tsushima has dropped, showing more gameplay, from traversal across beautiful lands to swordfights in the snow. The beautiful tale of revenge is coming Oct. 2 -- and the DLC, Ghost of Yotei Legends, is coming in 2026. World of Warcraft: Midnight The next big expansion to the long-running MMORPG World of Warcraft, titled Midnight, is coming soon -- and Blizzard Entertainment has, in its grand tradition, unveiled a riveting story trailer to set the stage for the next chapter in Azeroth's story.

‘Fallout' Season 2 Gets An Incredible New Trailer With A Brand New Villain

Amazon revealed the release date for Fallout's second season the other day, and gave us our first glimpse at images from the upcoming season. The series returns much sooner than I expected, which is a pleasant surprise. Now, during the Opening Night Live ceremony at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Microsoft and Bethesda along with Amazon, released the show's first Season 2 trailer. The biggest reveal in this trailer is the casting of Justin Theroux (The Leftovers) as Robert House, the enigmatic leader of New Vegas. We first met House (outside of the video games) in Season 1, when he met with other world leaders to help plan the end of the world, and the oligarchy's dastardly plan for the future. In the trailer, he talks with Goggins' character, actor Cooper Howard, before he becomes the Ghoul and before the nuclear apocalypse. Check it out: The best moment in that trailer goes to Ella Purnell's Lucy. 'I defer to you about what to do in this situation,' she says, her face pale, as she and the Ghoul come into contact with what looks very much like a dragon. The second season releases its premiere on December 17th with weekly episodes to follow up until February 4th. 'The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One's epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas,' the show's description reads. Purnell, Goggins and Theroux are joined by Aaron Moten Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias and Frances Turner and many more. I can't wait.
