Landon Dickerson to have MRI Monday
Left guard Landon Dickerson was helped off the field and carted inside after injuring his right leg during Sunday's practice. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Dickerson is set to have an MRI that will provide more information about the severity of the injury.
Dickerson has been a starter since joining the team as a 2021 second-round pick and he's part of an experienced offensive line that was a major asset for the team's offense on the way to winning the Super Bowl last season.
The Eagles listed Kenyon Green as Dickerson's backup on their initial depth chart, but Green was injured in their first preseason game. Matt Pryor and Trevor Keegan are also on hand as backup guards, but the Eagles will be hoping that they don't need to rely on them for too much time.

Florida center Jake Slaughter named to ESPN's preseason college football All-America team
The start of the 2025 college football campaign is right around the corner, and ahead of the opening kickoff, ESPN released its preseason All-America team, which featured a member of the Florida Gators. Center Jake Slaughter, a redshirt senior out of Sparr, Florida, made the list for the second-straight year, joining four others who were featured on last year's list. He is the only member of the Orange and Blue to earn the honor. "When Slaughter announced that he was returning for his senior season, it was huge news for the Gators' offensive line and a huge boost for coach Billy Napier," college football reporter Chris Low begins. "The 6-4, 303-pound Slaughter makes life easier for quarterback DJ Lagway and is a steadying force for the offense. Slaughter played 800 snaps last season, and his experience, versatility and toughness will serve the Gators well in 2025." Jake Slaughter's 2024 stats Slaughter started all 13 games in 2024, amassing a mountain of awards, including the AP All-SEC First-Team, ESPN All-American, PFF All-American First-Team, 247Sports/CBS All-American Second-Team, CFN All-American Second-Team, Phil Steel All-American Fourth-Team and USA TODAY Sports All-SEC First-Team. He was ranked fifth nationally among centers last year with an offense grade of 81.1, while ranking seventh in the country with a run block grade of 79.0. He also led the team in PFF offense, pass-block and run-block grades, as well as the offensive line as a whole in 800 snaps played. ESPN, Fox to bundle upcoming streaming services for $39.99 a month
Disney's ESPN and Fox Corp. are teaming up to offer their upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming services as a bundle, the companies said Monday. The move comes as media companies look to nab more consumers for their streaming alternatives, and draw them in with sports, in particular. Last week, both companies announced additional details about the new streaming options. ESPN's streaming service — which has the same name as the TV network — and Fox's Fox One will each launch on Aug. 21, ahead of the college football and NFL seasons. The bundled apps, however, will be available beginning Oct. 2 for $39.99 per month. Separately, ESPN and Fox One will cost $29.99 and $19.99 a month, respectively. While the bundle will offer sports fans a bigger offering at a discounted rate, the streaming services are not exactly the same. ESPN's flagship service will be an all-in-one app that includes all of its live sports and programming from its TV networks, including ESPN2 and the SEC Network, as well as ESPN on Disney-owned ABC. The app will also have fantasy products, new betting tie-ins, studio programming and documentaries. ESPN will also offer its app as a bundle with Disney's other streaming services, Disney+ and Hulu, for $35.99 a month. Last week, ESPN further beefed up the content on its streaming app when it inked a deal with the WWE for the U.S. rights to the wrestling league's biggest live events, including WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble and SummerSlam, beginning in 2026. The sports media giant also reached an agreement with the NFL that will see ESPN acquire the NFL Network and other media assets from the league. The Fox One service, however, will be a bit different. Fox had been on the sidelines of direct-to-consumer streaming for years after its competitors launched their platforms. Just this year, it said it would offer all of its content — including news and entertainment — from its broadcast and pay TV networks in a streaming offering. Fox One won't have any exclusive or original content. Fox's move into the direct-to-consumer streaming game — outside of its Fox Nation app and the free, ad-supported streamer Tubi — came after it abandoned its efforts to launch Venu, a joint sports streaming venture with Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery. Both Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch and Disney CEO Bob Iger said during separate earnings calls last week they were exploring bundling options with other services. Since Fox announced the Fox One app, Murdoch has said the company would lean into bundles with other streaming services. "Announcing ESPN as our first bundle partner is evidence of our desire to deliver the best possible value and viewing experience to our shared customers," said Tony Billetter, SVP of strategy and business development for FOX's direct to consumer segment, in a release on Monday.

"I have talked to a few teams who are at least monitoring his future a little bit," Fowler said. "Could he be a potential trade target? Now, I know the Dolphins earlier this summer were telling teams, 'No, we're not trading Tyreek Hill.' But they just wonder, is he going to be available? "It could be wishful thinking, maybe they want him to be available. But he's a player, when I bring up to teams, 'Hey, who is sort of a trade target you're watching?' — they bring up Tyreek Hill. So, we'll see. He's a big option for Tua [Tagovailoa], that would be a major move if they did move away from him." Who could those teams be that are monitoring his availability? Noah Strackbein of Pittsburgh Steelers on SI has suggested the Steelers as one of them. "Maybe Pittsburgh isn't at the top of the list for Hill, but it's hard to imagine they aren't having some conversation about it," Strackbein wrote. "And if they think they can pull off a deal within the limits they deem acceptable, they could re-ignite their interest in the Dolphins star wide receiver." A wide receiver duo of Metcalf and Hill would be nearly impossible to stop. They would form by far the best wide receiver room that Rodgers has ever worked with. Back in 2023, he racked up 119 catches for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, while totaling 119 catches for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022. There are few offensive players in the NFL more impactful or dynamic than Hill. If he's made available, it would be shocking if Pittsburgh isn't among the teams pursuing him. Expect to continue hearing rumors about Hill moving into the future. The Steelers are a team worth keeping an eye on as a possible trade suitor.
