How to watch Clemson baseball vs Louisville: Time, TV schedule for Top 25 series
Coach Erik Bakich's Clemson Tigers head into Easter weekend with their highest ranking to date in the major Top 25 college baseball polls and having won all five series in ACC play.
Clemson (33-6 overall, 11-4 ACC), ranked No. 2 in Perfect Game's Top 25 and No. 4 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, will face a Top 25 opponent today in the Louisville Cardinals (27-9, 9-6). The Tigers took two of three from Stanford last weekend but saw their eight-game winning streak snapped with an 11-6 loss on Sunday.
Longtime coach Dan McDonnell's Louisville team is ranked No. 17 in D1 Baseball's Top 25 and No. 19 in the Coaches Poll. The Cardinals dropped two of three at NC State last weekend and defeated No. 20 Western Kentucky, 5-2, in midweek action on Tuesday.
Jacob Jarrell has been on fire for Clemson at the plate, smashing seven home runs in his last 11 games. The junior backstop leads the Tigers with nine homers to go with a .263 average and 23 RBIs in 36 games. In the Tigers' 15 regular season games, Jarrell is batting .310 with five home runs, four doubles and a .638 slugging percentage.
Second baseman Jarren Purify (.333/.464/.516) and outfielder Cam Cannarella (.323/.486/.446) lead the Tigers in hitting. Purify has also stolen 16 bases in 19 attempts while Cannarella's 11 doubles lead the team.
Clemson's ace and Friday night starter Aidan Knaak improved to 6-0 on the mound last week after holding Stanford to one run on two hits in six solid innings. The sophomore right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.96 in 50 innings this season. He has 67 strikeouts to 15 walks.
Clemson's 4.53 ERA as a pitching staff ranks fourth in the ACC behind North Carolina (3.33), Florida State (4.19) and Georgia Tech (4.23). Louisville's 5.27 ERA is 10th. At the plate, the Tigers' .284 average as a team is 10th in the ACC, while Louisville is second in batting average at a .327 clip.

Louisville baseball staved off elimination once in the 2025 College World Series. Now it will need to do it a second time against an opponent that already has handed it a defeat. The Cardinals will face No. 8 Oregon State at 2 p.m., June 17, in a CWS elimination game from Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. The Beavers defeated Louisville 4-3 on a walk-off by Gavin Turley on June 13 to open the CWS. However, following an 8-3 victory over Arizona on June 15, the Cardinals may have a little pep in their step for the revenge game. Louisville scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to take its first lead and pull off the improbable victory over the Wildcats. The Cardinals are 2-0 in elimination games during the NCAA baseball tournament. That record also includes a 3-2 win over ACC rival Miami in a winner-take-all Game 3 in the Louisville Super Regional on June 8. OMAHA, NE ― Day 4 of the 2025 Men's College World Series brought a 19-strikeout no-hitter and a rain postponement. Arkansas defeated Murray State, 3-0, in an elimination game thanks to Gage Wood's historic no-no. But the Razorbacks will have to wait to find out their opponent, as the winners' bracket game between UCLA and LSU was suspended after three innings and will resume at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, June 17. Following the completion of that game, Oregon State will face Louisville in an elimination game, then Arkansas will face the loser of the earlier game in another elimination game. The winners of the two later games will advance to the semifinals, needing to beat their opponent twice to advance. Coastal Carolina already has clinched a spot in the semifinals with a win over Oregon State on Sunday, June 15. Louisville vs. Oregon State prediction Oregon State 8, Louisville 7 — How about a high-scoring game for once? Both the Beavers and Cardinals have had a few run-scoring outbursts, and the defense of both teams has left a little to be desired. Both are also low on reliable pitching after already having played two games. Oregon State is the team with a slightly more reliable offense, though, so they're the pick. Ravens Could Make Blockbuster Move for Jags RB

Ravens Could Make Blockbuster Move for Jags RB originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Baltimore Ravens have one of, if not the best running back room in the entire NFL, and there is a chance that it could be pushed over the top this offseason. Advertisement In a recent article by Anthony Palacios of Last Word on Sports, he puts together a list of teams that could pursue star running back Travis Etienne if the Jacksonville Jaguars decide to cut him. And one of the teams he mentions is the reigning AFC North champions. "Despite Derrick Henry's contract extension, he isn't getting any younger, and Keaton Mitchell has yet to prove to top over 1,000 yards in one season," Palacios wrote. "Etienne is more proven if he can stay consistent and take over as the starter once Henry runs out of gas." The Jags selected Etienne out of Clemson University in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but his snap count was vastly reduced for whatever reason in 2024. The 26-year-old running back had just 150 rushing attempts this past season, which was 18 less than the player who is listed as his backup on the depth chart, Tank Bigsby. Advertisement Two seasons ago in 2023, Etienne finished with 1,008 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. He was also able to show his versatility with 476 yards and a touchdown through the air. Henry will still be the lead back through the 2027 season, when his contract expires. But after that, the plan is not clear yet for the Ravens, but going after Etienne could be a very intriguing option for the team to explore.
