Charli XCX went completely unnoticed at London 's Lido Festival on Saturday as she watched some performances in the crowd ahead of her headline show.
The singer, 32, took to the stage of Brockwell Park in front of 35,000 people and insisted 'Brat Summer was forever'.
But before her anticipated performance, Charli enjoyed the rest of the festival as she was seen smoking a cigarette while watching Japanese House on the main stage.
She was seen drinking from a cup as she enjoyed the performance.
Before headlining, Charli wore blue cropped denim pants and a polka dot tank top.
Charli delighted her fans at the sold-out concert, bringing surprise guest Amelia Dimoldenberg out to do the iconic apple dance.
She wore hotpants and sipped an Aperol spritz on stage while performing.
Charli asked the crowd 'You ready?' and yelled with autotune 'Put your hands up' as her she sang her hits.
The songstress recently opened up about her next album, admitting that she's prepared for it 'to be a flop'.

Rise of the £120 birthday party — for pets
Every dog has its day but so do cats, rabbits, parrots, hamsters and guinea pigs, according to new research that reveals Britons are spending big on their pets' birthdays. Almost two thirds of Britain's 22 million pet owners celebrate their animal's birthday or adoption day, the study found, spending an average of £121 to reach a combined £1.7 billion. The research found that new toys and gourmet food were the most popular presents, chosen by two thirds of owners, followed by a new bed or blanket. Half bought a new collar, leash or other practical gift, and a similar proportion bought a personalised gift. Owners can, for example, have their cat's picture printed on a plush grey cushion for £25.95 or have their dog's face on a four-piece coaster set for £14.95. Those happy to pay a bit more can buy a custom portrait of their pet in military dress for £65.99 or a Dog DNA kit for £104.99. Other options in the burgeoning pet birthday market include a paw-print clay mould and photo frame kit for £25.95 or a 'light me when my dog farts' candle for £12.99. More tech-savvy owners might prefer the Wickedbone, the world's first smart and bluetooth-enabled remote-controlled dog toy, that is being sold by Cheerble for £100. But many owners do not stop at presents. Half have thrown their pets a party, including 83 per cent in Generation Z and 79 per cent of millennial owners. For over-55s the figure is 39 per cent. One younger pet owner who threw an elaborate first birthday party for her miniature dachshund is Tuscany Wilson. 'My dog is like my child and I knew since the day I got her I wanted to throw a birthday party for her,' she said. 'I took a lot of inspiration from Pinterest for birthday party themes.' In total, Wilson spent nearly £400, inviting her dog-owning friends to her house for the party. It included a dog cake and cupcakes, food from a local restaurant and decorations. She said: 'We had a play patch for the dog guests which included toys laid on the grass for them. The highlight was definitely spoiling my dog and getting to see her have a good birthday. I will definitely do it again.' Some celebrities spare no expense on pets' birthdays. The Formula 1 champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, for example, threw his bulldog Roscoe a party fit for a human, complete with party hats, dog guest list and a personalised dairy-free cake; Roscoe follows a vegan diet. Even after the death of Karl Lagerfeld, the fashion designer, in 2019, his cherished cat Choupette continues to enjoy extravagant celebrations: her 11th birthday was marked with a party on a private jet. Sofía Vergara, an actress best known for her role in the television show Modern Family, once celebrated her son's chihuahua Baguette's birthday by waking her up with a dramatic shower of dollar bills, launched from a money gun. The research found that one in eight people who threw a party for their pet did so specifically to create content for their social media. Gia Belle's party was posted on TikTok to Wilson's 1,000 followers. Tuscany Wilson and her dog Gia Belle at the extravagant birthday party Even if social media content is not the objective of a pet's party, more than half of dog owners and two thirds of cat owners still post pictures of the event online. When asked why they celebrate their pet's birthdays, almost half of people said it was because their animals are considered a part of the family. This might also explain why more than half of pet owners sign their pet's name on greeting cards when they send them. Perhaps surprisingly, the research found that guinea pig owners are more likely than both dog and cat owners to celebrate their pet's milestones.

Katy Perry spotted without her engagement ring in Melbourne amid claims of 'tension' in relationship with Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry has been spotted without her distinctive ruby engagement ring given to her by Orlando Bloom amid rumours of 'tension' between the couple. The popstar, 40, who made headlines over the weekend after appearing at a Melbourne nightclub and shouting the bar drinks, was seen without the hefty sparkler, and instead opted for a plain, silver band in its place. Orlando proposed to the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker on Valentine's Day in 2019 with a large ruby stone surrounded by diamonds in a flower-shaped setting. Soon after, the pair announced their engagement on Instagram with a picture showing Katy's giant rock and her fiancé underneath a canopy of red heart balloons. 'Full bloom,' she captioned the post, which received an outpouring of well-wishes from friends, family and fans at the time. Soon after, the pair announced their engagement on Instagram with a picture showing Katy's giant rock and her fiancé underneath a canopy of red heart balloons However, the unique ring was nowhere to be seen in the early hours of Sunday morning as Katy partied the night away and shouted the entire nightclub drinks. The mega popstar, who is currently playing a slew of gigs across Australia as part of her Lifetimes Tour, made an appearance at Melbourne nightspot Poof Doof, where she was extremely generous to her fans. After finishing her fourth show at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday and bringing her sold out Melbourne leg to a close, the 40-year-old turned up at the Chapel Street club to share her appreciation for her LGBTQIA+ fans. 'You guys raised me,' Katy confessed to the crowd. 'I thank you and I love you. You are my chosen family,' she sweetly told the crowd. 'And because you are my chosen family, a mother must provide for her children.' Katy then announced that she would be shouting everyone drinks for one hour. 'So, as your mother, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby. I love you so much. The bar is open.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Martha Tsamis (@marthatsamis) The sweet gesture comes amid rumours of 'tension' between Katy and her fiancé Orlando. The couple, who share four-year-old Daisy Dove, have been at the centre of rife speculation during Katy's tour of Australia, and the pop star fuelled rumours even more after making a telling comment onstage. The American singer was performing the third of her Sydney concerts on Tuesday night when she was handed a packet of Tim Tam chocolate biscuits. She was in the middle of her performance of her 2008 heartbreak anthem I'm Still Breathing when she opened the packet and ate one of the treats. 'This song is about a breakup, and this Tim Tam saved me,' Perry told the crowd during the brief interlude. 'Thank you,' she added, before launching back into the track while kneeling down and offering the biscuits to audience members in the front row. The comment about suffering through a 'breakup' comes after Katy was spotted looking downcast in Sydney. The California Gurls singer - whose album 143 was hit with a wave of negative reviews - was spotted looking less-than-enthused as she stepped out at Luna Park with her daughter Daisy. The couple's sightings on different continents come amid a new report alleging that Katy's poorly performing album caused 'tension' in her relationship On the same day, Orlando seemed to be having a blast at the Tribeca Festival in New York City. He posed on the red carpet with their adorable Teacup Poodle Biggie Smalls. The couple's sightings on different continents come amid a new report alleging that Katy's poorly performing album caused 'tension' in her relationship. Katy is set to play a slew of shows in Brisbane this week before heading to Perth and then Adelaide.

Arise, Sir David Beckham
'England trail by two goals to one. Beckham could raise the roof here with a goal,' goes the commentary, as David Beckham lines up a free-kick against Greece, shortly before whipping it into the top corner. 'I don't believe it! David Beckham scores the goal to take England all the way to the World Cup finals! Give that man a knighthood!' The year was 2001, and the ultimate honour seemed close for England's biggest football player – and perhaps the most famous living Briton, full stop. Yet as the longtime Beckham watcher Zoe Williams describes, it has been a long wait. As she tells Helen Pidd, Beckham was a pioneer for many reasons in the 1990s and early 2000s: a gay icon in a masculine world; an openly loving dad; and, of course, an extremely successful athlete. But his career has been beset by scandal, too – from reports of affairs, and allegations over his tax arrangements, to disappointments over his association with Qatar. Still, on Friday it was finally announced that Beckham was to receive his knighthood – the fruits of a campaign for the honour that started more than a decade ago. So why now? And what does it say about the UK's honours system – and its class system – that it took so long?
