OnlyFans model Shannon Rose set for bout with daughter of basketball legend Shane Heal
She's the Only Fans model fighting the daughter of a basketball legend, and Shannon Rose is aiming for the very top of the boxing world. Based on the Gold Coast, Rose fights Ash Heal – daughter of Shane Heal – on Wednesday night's pay-per-view show headlined by Nikita Tszyu's comeback against Lulzim Ismaili at the ICC Convention Theatre in Sydney. And she says it's the first step in her path towards boxing greatness. 'I want to go all the way to the top,' Rose told Code Sports. 'I didn't have an amateur career at all, so I've only had one fight so far. 'I'm a baby in the sport, but I want to go as far as I can.' While she's aiming to reach the heights of women's boxing pioneers like Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, Rose knows the pay in the lower rungs of the sport isn't great. Especially in women's boxing. So, she supplements any money she makes in boxing as a creator on OnlyFans. It's something other Aussie fighters like Ebanie Bridges and Cherneka Johnson have also done. 'Even though women's boxing is on the rise and we're gaining opportunities because of how well it's going, it's not paying enough to make it a full time career unless you're right at the top,' she said. 'Having that presence online means I'm able to be a fulltime athlete and have a flexible training schedule and pay the rent. 'My payday now in boxing is nowhere near as big as other women in the sport, but I'm getting a comfortable weekly wage online. 'But everyone that knows me knows I put the work into the boxing. I have that social media presence, but I don't let it affect me.' Rose originally started boxing for fitness and quickly fell in love with the sport, but her family has a long history of fighting. 'My late grandfather was a professional boxer in Belfast in Northern Ireland named Billy Stewart,' she said. 'He was fighting back in the 1940s and '50s, and he moved to Australia after his career finished. 'I just started boxing for fitness but soon realised it was something I could do to follow in his footsteps. 'He was my best friend as a kid, so having that connection is a real motivation. He'd be ringside at every single fight if he was still here. 'He passed away when I was eight or nine, and I have photos of him fighting, so it's a real connection that we have.' Rose moved from Coffs Harbour to the Gold Coast to train at the Opetaia Boxing Gym under Tapu Opetaia – the father of cruiserweight world champion Jai. 'She's tough, but she likes a challenge,' Tapu told Code Sports. 'In her first fight, they punched the shit out of each other. 'It's hard to find girls for sparring, so I have to throw her in with the boys for sparring. 'I tell 'em not to hold back, and they don't. But she has a crack back as well.' It's the perfect preparation for taking on Heal, who has had eight amateur fights, and will make her professional debut on Wednesday. 'It's been challenging, but it's good,' she said. 'I'm the only female in our fight team, so I have to keep up with the boys. 'Taps doesn't let them slack off either. If they slacken off he tells them to go harder, but it's been good. 'I want to get to the very top.'

‘All for the cameras': The Block contestant calls out the show on-air
The Block contestant Han's feud with foreman Dan Reilly continued on Tuesday night's episode, with Han accusing the show's site foreman of manufacturing problems for the cameras. The problem started when Dan, who is tasked with overseeing the safety and organisation of the construction process on-site, paid a visit to Han and partner Can's build. They had earlier agreed on a solution to hide a floor waste for the powder room sink in the house – but Han had since changed the plans without telling Dan. It meant the floor waste was in a concrete slab that was now smack bang in the middle of a walkway, something he would never approve. Han argued that she'd got the OK from her plumber. 'He's just a plumber, he doesn't design anything,' Dan pointed out. She then offered to cut the concrete slab herself, which was instantly rebuffed by Dan: 'You're not cutting any structural slab, no way.' Han said to the cameras she was feeling 'angry and frustrated … from where I'm standing, I've done everything right.' Then she unleashed on Dan. 'I'm sorry, but this is absolute horses**t. This is all for the camera, this is absolute bulls**t,' she said, insisting the plans had always been this way. A quick flashback showed her telling Dan the floor waste would be hidden under joinery, something he approved. 'It's an absolute stitch-up Dan. I'm trying to do my best job and really go by the process … It's like pick on the good guy, pick on the person that's doing it by the book … and I'm sick of it,' she fumed. The dummy spit didn't win Dan over, though. You'd think after 21 seasons, contestants would know better than to pick fights with the foremen – the whole slab needs to come out. It's not the first time the pair have had a fiery on-camera altercation. During week one this season, Dan declared he'd 'lost trust' with Han, after accusing her of going behind his back and carrying out work he hadn't approved.

Influencer nearly ‘decapitated' in freak fashion accident
An Adelaide fashion influencer and dress hire business owner said she was nearly 'decapitated' after a wardrobe mishap at an event. Eli Moulton attended the launch of a new car dealership in Adelaide on Sunday, wearing a black tube dress with a flowing sheer black scarf. However, as she was leaving, her accessory got caught under her car, forcibly yanking at her neck as she drove off. For Australia's best lifestyle coverage — download the app direct to your phone. Sharing outfit videos from the night on her Instagram, the mum-of-two joked that the dress had her in a 'chokehold', which is slang for being obsessed with something. In the clips that followed, she showed how it 'literally' did have a chokehold on her, leaving a thick red burn mark around her neck. 'A reminder for the ladies: REMOVE your neck scarves (sic) before entering or operating any heavy machinery! Nearly decapitated myself getting the scarf tangled underneath the car on the way home,' she wrote in the caption. On Tuesday, Moulton, who gave birth to her newborn just a few weeks ago, took to her Instagram Story to share an update with her followers, assuring them she was in good spirits. 'Not even the Paris filter can help me. We are off to get this medically dressed – don't worry, folks,' she said alongside a photo of her wound. 'My spirits are still high, thriving and surviving.' Followers flocked to the comments of Moulton's post to offer their sympathies to the influencer. 'You poor thing!' one said. 'Fashion is a dangerous business, you poor love,' another wrote. 'It's definitely not for the faint-hearted,' Moulton replied. 'Eli! That is frightening. Looks sore too. Hope you are okay,' someone else commented. Famously, American dancer Isadora Duncan died in 1927 when the long scarf she was wearing became entangled in the wheel of the open-air car she was in. The car accelerated at full speed, violently pulling her from the vehicle and throwing her onto the street and breaking her neck. She was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The 'Isadora' style of scarf was named after her and is known for its flowing, free-flowing style, often made from luxurious materials like cashmere, silk, or wool.
