Viewers couldn't get enough of her calm confidence and timeless beauty wisdom.
'There's something so adorable about the way she uses her blush and mirror. So real, honest, and perfect,' one commenter wrote.
'Is she really 103? She's absolutely fantastic. Such a beautiful lady. We can all learn so much from her,' said another.
In the now-famous video, her caregiver tagged Collection Cosmetics, the brand Joan was using.
The company responded by sending her a full set of makeup goodies, including lip glosses, blush palettes, and more.
Just like that, Joan earned her beauty influencer status.
Though she's over a century old, Joan's makeup advice is as sharp and stylish as ever. Here are a few of her favourite blush tips: Skip the smile. She avoids the 'smile-and-apply' technique because, as she puts it, she has 'too many wrinkles' for that method to work well.
Ditch the circles. Instead of making red rings on her cheeks, she uses gentle strokes to 'melt' the blush into her skin.
Start off light. 'If it looks like it's not enough, you can always add more,' she advises.
Following her viral success, Joan was invited to appear on ITV's This Morning, where she shared not only her beauty secrets but also her life philosophy.

Learner wins bicycle in Laerskool Panorama pop-a-balloon competition

Laerskool Panorama recently ushered the learners into yet another thrilling session of their pop-a-balloon competition, which got learners winning incredible prizes. On May 23, the school community engaged in a fun-filled activity that was introduced on May 16 and will be taking place every Friday until June 11. The learners have to pay an amount of R10 to pop a balloon, and were allowed to buy as many balloons as they wanted. The most exciting part is that each balloon contains a prize, which is all a mystery until the balloon is popped. From small treats to even bigger rewards, every learner who pops a balloon is guaranteed to win something. 'The event is open to all learners in the school, and many have been taking advantage of the opportunity to win exciting prizes,' said Marilein Hauzer, one of the organisers of the competition. One lucky learner, Kgomotso Makoea, won a skateboard and a bicycle, sparking so much excitement among his peers. Marilein explained that at the end of the competition, the parents will also get to take part in a special raffle and a pop-a-balloon, especially for them. Kylie Jenner's breast augmentation breakdown: candid confessions from the reality star

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner dished out details of her breast augmentation in response to a fan's plea. Image: Instagram/Kylie Jenner Recently, US reality TV star Kylie Jenner openly discussed the details of her breast augmentation, including naming her plastic surgeon and providing precise specifications. A TikTok user @rachleary took to the internet to ask Jenner to share with her details of her breast augmentation down to the T. Leary shared that the beauty mogul's breasts are ultimately her inspiration and what she's looking for, and how she wants her breasts to look. 'This is a TikTok for Kylie Jenner, okay? If you're not Kylie Jenner and you don't care about plastic surgery, just keep scrolling. 'Girl, please, can you just tell us … I promise you, my followers? Lovely. Safe space on here. Please can you just tell me/us/anyone that's just interested - what it is that you asked for when you had your boobs done?' Leary asked. She continued to say that the 27-year-old media personality's breast augmentation is the perfect job she's ever seen and that she also wants her breasts to be the same. Leary also pleaded with Jenner to know the style of the implant, whether it was a tear drop or high profile, and she also asked for the placement, under or over the muscle. 'The Kardashians' star surprisingly commented: '445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!! Silicone!!! Garth Fisher!!! Hope this helps lol.' A screenshot of Kylie Jenner's response. Image: TikTok The mother-of-two has always been open about any plastic surgery work she has done. In one of the episodes of her family's reality show in 2023, Jenner once admitted that she has had fillers, and in a conversation with a friend, she shared that she got under the knife and got her breast done. 'I had beautiful breasts, like natural t**s. Perfect size, perfect everything, and I just wish, obviously, that I never got them done to begin with,' she shared. Jenner also once admitted that she got work done because of her insecurities; however, after having daughter Stormi Webster, her perspective on plastic surgery has changed drastically, and she wouldn't want her daughter to change anything about herself.

Rough morning? This little guy's got you covered – with a smile and a cheerful 'hello, guys' for every soul on the train! In a now-viral TikTok video shared by @Othembele, which has over 24 million views, the little fellow is seen marching down the train aisle, enthusiastically greeting passengers like he is running for mayor of Carriage 5. The internet, of course, is melting faster than a chocolate bar on a summer train seat. Viewers are swooning over the boy's infectious energy and praising his mom for raising such a delightful little social butterfly. Some even admitted it turned their whole day around – who knew your daily dose of serotonin would come with train tickets? More than just a feel-good moment, the clip is a reminder that a simple 'hello' can make the world feel a little warmer – and that maybe, just maybe, we could all use a bit of that fearless, joy-spreading kid energy once in a while.
