Rivals Camp Series: The five best QBs of the 2025 regionals
Editor's Note: This article first appeared on the leader in college football and basketball recruiting coverage. Be the first to know and follow your teams by signing up here. The regional stops of the Rivals Camp Series is in the books with the Rivals Five-Star at the Indianapolis Colts' practice facility coming up later this month. Today, we look at the best players at each position through the regional events starting with quarterback. RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker Houston showed in Dallas that he has all the traits of an elite quarterback and it's why USC has made him its top priority in the 2027 class and many others, including Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M and LSU, are staying involved. The Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian high four-star is not the biggest quarterback in the world but that's what everyone said about Kyler Murray, Bryce Young and so many others. In today's game, quarterback height is less important than ever before. Houston is a playmaker and even if a camp setting isn't the best for him, the four-star still delivered in a major way. Over the last few days, Jarrard has visited Purdue, Notre Dame and Clemson and heading into the Atlanta camp he had received offers from Georgia and Ohio State as the 2027 four-star from Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb is one of the hottest quarterbacks in the entire country. The ball pops off Jarrard's hand. He has velocity, timing and everything else to back up all the attention he's received on the recruiting trail. The Atlanta Camp was loaded at quarterback and even though Jarrard didn't win the MVP award, he was definitely impressive and one of the best QBs at any Rivals regional camp. To beat out Teddy Jarrard, North Carolina commit Travis Burgess, Mississippi State pledge Brodie McWhorter and others for the MVP award, Johnson had a phenomenal performance at the Atlanta camp which was one of many this offseason. The 2027 four-star quarterback from Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes was sharp, showed off great arm talent, had a clean motion throughout the event and then seemed to get better and better throughout the camp. It was a close race at the top but Johnson edged out some other elite quarterbacks. The five-star quarterback was fantastic as always at the Los Angeles stop and what's even more impressive is that a camp setting is not where Lyons does his best work. The Folsom, Calif., standout sat in the pocket and zipped passes all over the field. He knows when to dial it back a little bit and has such an unreal feel for receivers and immediately having chemistry with them. Lyons is best when he can freelance a little bit, escape pressure and make magic happen and that's not a camp setting but he was still great. Oregon, BYU, Michigan and others continue after him. It's hard to believe that Wade is a 2028 prospect because he has all the tools and is physically developed enough that it wouldn't be a shock to anyone if he reclassified because he doesn't need three more high school seasons. He's now the guy at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy and he should shine because he is a special prospect who will clearly be under five-star consideration. Wade was arguably the best quarterback at the loaded Los Angeles event, which is always so deep at the position. Even still, the 2028 prospect stood out. He has the total package from decision-making to arm talent and beyond. Oregon, Texas and others have already made an impression.

Taylor Swift Dance Wedding Video with Travis Kelce Reveals Unmatched Vibe
Taylor Swift Dance Wedding Video with Travis Kelce Reveals Unmatched Vibe originally appeared on Athlon Sports. One thing we know about Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is that he likes to have fun, and it appears he's found the perfect partner to have said fun with: Taylor Swift. Having been dating for over two years, Travis and Taylor hit their first rough patch after the Super Bowl loss and retreated out of the public eye. However, over the past week, it seems they are slowly re-emerging, with the pair spotted on a date night and, most recently, at Travis' cousin's wedding in Tennessee. We have seen pictures of the pair celebrating the wedding, and now, a video has emerged of the couple watching on as the bride and groom shared what we think was their first dance. In the video posted to social media Kelce and Swift were seen dancing and grooving in their seats, with Travis noticeably having his hand on Taylor's knee/leg the whole time. The vibes are unmatched. Often unable to go anywhere without a host of fans swarming them and cameras going off everywhere, the wedding felt like a welcome change of pace for the high-profile couple. It was a relaxed atmosphere; guests didn't crowd the couple, making it uncomfortable. Instead, both Travis and Taylor were able to do their own thing and pose for photos with guests and others. Hence, that is likely why they felt like they could be themselves and have a good time because they didn't have to worry about being swarmed. And it shows, with Taylor and Travis finally able to act like a "normal" couple in public and enjoy spending time together. Goals galore in third instalment of Stanley Cup Final
Defending champions Florida capitalised on Edmonton's worst performance in weeks to thrash the Oilers in Game 3 for a 2-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Final. Brad Marchand and Sam Bennett scored again, Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe each got their first goal in the series as the Panthers registered a 6-1 rout on Monday night. THE PANTHERS TAKE THE SERIES LEAD!! 😼 Catch Game 4 of the #StanleyCup Final between the @EdmontonOilers and @FlaPanthers Thursday, June 12 at 8p ET on @NHL_On_TNT, @SportsonMax, @Sportsnet, and @TVASports! — NHL (@NHL) June 10, 2025 Marchand became the oldest player to score in each of the first three games of a final and the first to open the scoring the next time out after notching an overtime winner. His 11 goals in the final are the most among active players, one more than similarly ageless Corey Perry. Bennett added his NHL playoff-leading 14th goal, just the second at home, after making a big hit on Edmonton's Vasily Podkolzin that contributed to the turnover to spring him on a breakaway. Marchand and Bennett have combined to score eight of Florida's 13 goals in the series. But it was not just them this time. Verhaeghe buried a perfect shot into the net under the cross bar on the power play, Reinhart made up for missing the net on an earlier attempt, Aaron Ekblad scored to chase Stuart Skinner on the fifth goal on 23 shots and Evan Rodrigues added the exclamation point in the waning minutes. At the other end of the ice, Sergei Bobrovsky earned the "Bobby! Bobby!" chants from a fired up South Florida crowd. The two-time Vezina Trophy-winning goaltender known as "Bob" was on his game for the very few quality chances the disjointed Oilers mustered, making 32 saves. Perry - at 40 the oldest player in the series - beat Bobrovsky with some silky hands for a power-play goal, keeping up this final being a showcase of cagey veterans along with Marchand. Connor McDavid could not get his team on track, and Edmonton took 15 minors - led by Evander Kane's three plus a misconduct to add up to 85 penalty minutes - including a brawl that ensued with less than 10 minutes left. Trent Frederic and Darnell Nurse, who fought Jonah Gadjovich, got misconducts that knocked them out of a game with an outcome determined long before. After the final looked as evenly matched as can be with Games 1 and 2 each needing extra time, overtime and then double OT, Game 3 was a lopsided mismatch. The Oilers came unglued to the point Jake Walman resorted to squirting water on Panthers players on their bench from his spot on the visiting side. The teams have some extra time off before Game 4 on Thursday night, when the Panthers have the chance to take a 3-1 lead and move to the verge of going back to back.
