Over 16K Macy's infant footed pajamas recalled nationwide. How to get refund
Over 16,000 holiday infant footed pajamas sold at Macy's stores nationwide and online are being recalled.
The recall involves five different styles of the Holiday Lane-branded infant footed pajamas that were sold in infant sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
This includes the:
'Holiday Lane Infant Merry Mix It Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama.'
'Holiday Lane Infant Family Plaid Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama.'
'Holiday Lane Infant Winterton Plaid Cotton Match Family Footed Pajama.'
'Holiday Lane Infant Star Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama.'
'Holiday Lane Floral Cotton Matching Family Footed Pajama.'
'Holiday Lane' is printed on the pajamas' neck label.
Macy's received four reports of the elastic on the pajama being too tight on the infants' ankles, resulting in chafing, imprinting or restricting blood circulation, the CPSC wrote. The 16,300 affected products were sold in the store, including Macy's Backstage and online from March 2024 through January 2025 for around $27.
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using the recalled pajamas, take them away from children and contact Macy's for instructions on how to receive a refund. The pajama should not be returned to the stores, the agency noted.
Customers will be asked to fill out a recall form at https://www.recallrtr.com/footedpajamas. Once the form is completed, they will be sent a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope to return the footed pajama free of charge. Macy's will issue a $26.50 refund via check upon receipt of the recalled product.

Fourth of July fireworks return to East River this year
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Macy's Fourth of July fireworks will return to the East River this summer. The fireworks will be launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges in the East River, Mayor Eric Adams announced Wednesday. More Local News 'This year's Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show, set against the city skyline and on the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, is set to deliver an unforgettable night,' said Will Coss, executive director of the fireworks show. The city will announce information about public viewing locations and tickets in the coming weeks. Last year, the city gave out 10,000 free tickets to view the show on Piers 84 and 45, which sold out in under an hour. The fireworks can be seen from any spot with an unobstructed view of the lower East River, according to organizers. Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show returning to NYC's East River for 2025
The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show in New York City is headed back to the East River this year, Mayor Eric Adams announced Wednesday. The holiday tradition returns on Friday, July 4, as the nation celebrates Independence Day. Adams says this year the city is also celebrating 400 years since its founding. "The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show is one of New York City's most iconic traditions, drawing thousands from across our city, the country, and the globe to witness a world-class celebration of America's birthday right here in the heart of the Big Apple," the mayor said in a press release Wednesday morning. "Each year, this dazzling display lights up our skyline, boosts our economy, and brings vital support to local businesses. As we celebrate 400 years since New York City's founding, we're thrilled to welcome the crowds, once again, to experience an unforgettable Independence Day at our world-famous Brooklyn Bridge and East River skyline!" Last year, the fireworks show moved to the Hudson River on the West Side of Manhattan for the first time in more than a decade. This year, the best views will be on the East Side, as the fireworks are launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and barges below. "Macy's is known for bringing friends and families in New York City and across the nation together to create memories through celebrations all year long," said Will Coss, executive director for the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. A beloved high school baseball coach and lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers fan diagnosed with ALS was honored Monday night with a life-changing gift. Jason Ramirez and his family were the guests of honor at Dodger Stadium prior to Monday's first pitch against the New York Mets to receive a custom Permobil power wheelchair.
