3-year-old boy killed after shooting in Ohio home
A 3-year-old boy died after a shooting inside an Ohio home on Monday, according to WOIO-19 TV and WKBN-27.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Pointview Avenue in Youngstown around 5 p.m.

The boy later died at a hospital, both stations reported.
Youngstown Police Department Lieutenant Mohammad Awad told WKBN-27 that there is a lack of cooperation from the people who might have been inside the home at the time of the shooting.
The shooting remains under investigation.

Prosecutors seek to revoke bond of rape suspect for allegedly contacting victim
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Prosecutors Wednesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court asked a judge to revoke the bond of a man charged with three counts of rape because they say he contacted a victim in the case. Assistant Prosecutor Daniel Yozwiak said Matthew Nicholson, 46, of Columbiana, sent a Facebook message May 29 to a victim in the case despite a condition of his bond stating that he have no contact with any victims. Besides the three rape counts Nicholson is facing, which are all first-degree felonies, he also faces a second-degree felony charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony count of sexual battery and a first-degree misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. Trial is set for Nov. 10 before Judge Maureen Sweeney. Nicholson's bond was originally set at $500,000 when he was arraigned Jan. 22 in common pleas court, but it was reduced Feb. 7 to $250,000, which he was able to post Feb. 11. Details of the charges have not yet been released, but the charges were filed after an investigation by the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office. Hall Co. escaped inmate steals motorcycle, leads deputies on multi-state chase, officials say
An inmate on work release is back in custody after deputies said he led them on a multi-state chase. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] On Monday, Stephens County deputies tried to stop a black motorcycle. The sheriff's office said they were notified that the driver, later identified as 39-year-old Daniel Jesse Bell of Braselton, was an escaped inmate from Hall County. The SCSO said Bell cut off his ankle monitor before leaving the area earlier Monday afternoon and the motorcycle was also possibly stolen from Hall County. Deputies said they spotted the motorcycle traveling on Highway 123. When they tried to stop Bell, he sped away. Stephens County deputies chased Bell into South Carolina, where Oconee County, S.C. deputies took over. Deputies tried to arrest Bell, who was tased after refusing to listen to deputies' commands. When Bell was tased, deputies realized he was on fire and rushed to put out the flames. Oconee deputies then took Bell into custody. Due to his burn injuries, Bell was taken to a burn center for treatment, where he remains in custody.
