
Saviynt Appoints Palo Alto Networks, Citrix Exec Steve Blacklock as Channel Chief to Accelerate Global Partner Ecosystem Growth
Blacklock brings more than 30 years of experience in global alliances and business development across the technology sector, with a proven track record of forging high-impact partnerships that drive transformational outcomes. He joins Saviynt from Palo Alto Networks, where he served as Vice President of North American Partner Sales. During his tenure, he led go-to-market initiatives across GSIs, MSSPs, cloud providers, and value-added resellers, helping expand the company's footprint through a robust partner ecosystem.

Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Blacklock held several executive leadership roles, including Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Icertis, where he led partnerships with Microsoft and SAP; Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances at Citrix, where he was pivotal in the company's shift to cloud services and subscription models; and various senior roles at Cisco, including managing the billion-dollar HP partnership and as a part of the executive team that launched the VCE joint venture with EMC and VMware. Blacklock holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and currently resides in Pleasanton, California.

Customer-Facing AI: The Missed Opportunity While 63% of retailers believe AI will improve customer loyalty and 65% expect it to increase customer lifetime value, only 43% are currently using AI in customer-facing applications such as personalization, chatbots or tailored marketing experiences. In fact, just 23% are using AI in production to resolve customer identities or prepare data for marketing use, indicating significant untapped potential in customer engagement strategies. CDPs Are Accelerating AI Maturity Retailers with a customer data cloud (CDC) aren't just slightly ahead - they're moving at a different pace entirely: 60% of CDP-equipped retailers use AI daily or several times per week (vs. 29% without a CDP) 35% use AI in production to prepare data for marketing or analytics (vs. 9% without a CDP) 22% report full AI adoption across multiple business units (vs. 10%) These retailers are also far more confident in their ability to understand and act on customer behavior, reinforcing the CDP's role as a critical enabler of enterprise AI strategy. H1 2025 activity The Group posted sales of €178.7 million in the first half of 2025, up by more than 10% on both current and constant scopes and exchange rates. Half-year sales trends by geographical region are as follows: Europe posted solid revenue growth of 6.7% on a current scope and exchange rate basis and 6.5% on a constant scope and exchange rate basis, with sales of almost €129 million over the period, thanks to historic markets that remain well oriented. After a difficult 2024 exercise in North American markets, sales in the Americas rebounded strongly in the first half.
