Based on a Tamil show titled Cooku With Comali, Laughter Chefs first premiered in 2024. After a successful season one, the show returned for a second season. Hosted by Bharti Singh, the show features celebrity participants in pairs who are required to cook dishes with particular criteria assigned by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. The dishes are then judged by Sokhi and Bharti Singh. Then the judges give stars to the pair with the most accurate delicacy.
Season 2 of Laughter Chefs features a versatile lineup of celebrity contestants, which includes Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Kashmera Shah and Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Vaidya and Rubina Dilaik, and wildcard entry Aly Goni and Reem Sameer Shaikh. Abdu Rozik and Elvish Yadav also participated in the show, but Rozik left in episode 17 due to Ramadan, leaving Elvish to pair up with Karan Kundrra. Moreover, Nia Sharma also replaced Mannara Chopra to pair up with Sudesh Lehri. The finale is reportedly expected to take place in July.
