This Abercrombie Curve Love Bikini *Actually* Fits My 32F Chest

Cosmopolitan2 days ago

If you have a bigger bust and smaller band size, you know how impossible it can be to find a well-fiting bathing suit that actually looks stylish. As a 32F, I often feel like my only options are to (A) squeeze into a trendy but ill-fitting bikini that only comes in standard sizes, or (B) settle for a more supportive (but matronly) option with bra sizing. That is, until I found Abercrombie's Curve Love swim line about a year ago.
You may already be familiar with Abercrombie's Curve Love denim, which nixes waist gapping in your favorite jeans by adding extra room through the hip and thigh. So I was delighted when the brand came out with a similar problem-solving product for my fellow big boob, small ribcage girlies. Curve Love swim is designed specifically to accommodate larger cups with a proportionally smaller band size. It fits cup sizes D-F and band sizes 28 through 42.
There are a few different Curve Love styles to choose from, but my personal favorite is the High Apex Underwire Bikini Top. It provides tons of support with built-in underwire and adjustable straps without looking too bra-like. It also has a smaller gore (the landing area between cups), so it separates your girls without pushing them tooooo far apart—meaning you'll still have some cleavage. And the best part? The cups are *actually* wide enough to cover your whole breast from the side, preventing any of that weird armpit bulge.
Underrated feature: this bikini doesn't ride up in the back. Since the band actually fits my smaller ribcage, it evenly distributes the weight of my chest and stays put all day long—a major win in my book. Plus, the band is snug enough around my waist to support my chest from beneath, so it doesn't hurt my neck and shoulders. Now, I can actually enjoy my time at the beach without constantly adjusting my top and stressing about spillage.
I already own this exact bikini in three colors (a girl's gotta have options!), and I'm not the only one who swears by it. "My dream bikini top," writes one happy shopper. "As someone with a large bust and smaller waist I always have a hard time finding swimsuits, this top is the solution! I love it so much that I wish all of my bras fit as good as this bikini top."
"I put these on and immediately wanted to cry tears of happiness," added another reviewer. "I'm 23 and have NEVER been able to find a bikini top that actually fits me...Literally wish I could time travel and bring these to my teenage self."
A bikini that actually fits and flatters my 32F chest is honestly priceless, but this one is reasonably priced at $55. And while you could wait around for one of Abercrombie's sales, we suggest shopping as soon as possible—these popular styles tend to sell out fast.

What Are Granny Pods? Inside the Real Estate Trend That Lets Grandma Live Right in the Backyard

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Everyone hopes to be able to take care of their family members when they can no longer do so on their own — especially when it comes to assisting our parents in their golden years. That could mean hiring an at-home nurse, finding a quality nursing home or having your parents move in with you. All of those options have their potential drawbacks, whether it's due to the high cost of caregiving or space constraints. If you find yourself debating the options, there might be a solution you haven't even considered yet: granny pods. If you've heard of ADUs (accessory dwelling units) or tiny homes before, you essentially understand the concept of a granny pod. "Some people call them granny pods, granny flats, backyard cottages, guest houses. It's another smaller home on the same property as the main residence. It's freestanding and has everything you would need to live there — a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry — it's just small," says Hank Hernandez of Alameda Tiny Homes. What differentiates granny pods from other ADUs is that they're specifically designed to accommodate an elderly occupant's needs. Whether it's a lift to help the resident move between the bed and the bathroom or a video camera system to monitor the space, there are plenty of extras a homeowner can add to their ADU so that it functions in the best way possible for an older relative.$29999.00 at at at at According to the 2024 Cost of Care Survey by Genworth, a long-term care insurance company, the average median cost of a private room in a nursing home in the United States is a whopping $127,750. The national average median assisted living community cost is $70,800. If you're considering a home renovation or extension to maximize the space in your current home instead of opting for outside care, that project could potentially still cost more than a small ADU — without the added privacy. But it's not only homeowners with elderly relatives who need care that are incorporating granny pods into their own yards. It's also families who want to take advantage of intergenerational living. "I grew up living next door to my grandparents and never understood how unique that was until I became a parent. How amazing is it to be able to send your kids next door to their grandparents' house to have breakfast," says Hernandez. Granny pods allow grandparents to move in with their kids, even if their current homes aren't large enough to accommodate them. They can help take care of the grandkids while their own kids are out working, sit down for a family dinner once everyone's home and then head back to their own space when it's time for bed. While certain prefabricated dwellings available online start at just about $10,000, that price doesn't typically include anything besides the kit itself, so you'll have to price out installation fees, utility costs and more. If you're hoping for a more personalized unit that includes design, permits and the installation of the cottage itself, that will cost you upwards of $100k, depending on where you live. Still, if you consider the recurring cost of assisted living, granny pods might be a worthwhile investment. You'll need to research your local zoning laws to determine whether or not a granny pod is legal in your area. Zoning laws may dictate whether you can have an ADU on your property, and also how much total space on your land may be covered by a structure. Of course, you may face additional obstacles if you are part of a homeowners' association and bound by its rules, or if you're in proximity to certain parks or watershed areas for which you'll need to obtain a variance or exemption. You might also want to reach out to your local power, sewer or water agency for clearance. Check on the septic system as well. Adding an ADU with its own kitchen and bath may mean your system no longer complies and needs updating. Novak Djokovic on What Wellness Means to Him: 'It's a Daily Practice'

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." for Novak Djokovic, wellness is key to his tennis success. As he aims to capture his elusive 25th Grand Slam title, further cementing his place in the tennis history books, he remains focused on his physical and emotional health.. 'Wellness is about balance—physical, emotional, and spiritual,' he tells T&C during his French Open run. The harmony of all three is key for his continued success in the sport; just at Roland-Garros, Djokovic has won three times, most recently in 2023, and captured his first (and only) Olympic gold medal in tennis on Philippe-Chatrier's storied clay courts last summer. In addition, he recently became only the third man to notch 100 match wins at the tournament, following his rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. 'It's a daily practice of self-awareness and intention,' Djokovic says of his approach to health. 'Whether it's through nutrition, breathing, movement, or stillness. I believe striking harmony in all areas of life can bring much more joy and contentment than focussing on individual elements themselves. To me, wellness shouldn't be about quick gains, it should be a lasting feeling.' In thinking about his wellbeing, Djokovic says, 'consistency and authenticity are key. I prioritize practices that help me stay grounded and energized, like meditation, and spending time in nature. But equally important is emotional wellness—cultivating gratitude, connecting with family, and having a sense of purpose. Wellness supports not just my tennis, but my entire life.' His fervent belief in the power of hollistic health, he says, is what brought him to team up with Aman Resorts. Djokovic says his ethos 'perfectly aligns' with 'Aman's approach to treating body, mind, and spirit.' Last August, the luxury hotel brand announced Djokovic as an official Wellness Advisor, and since, he's been representing Aman on court. 'The vision and mission that the brand and I share are aligned—we speak a common language when it comes to wellness and longevity,' he says. Djokovic's history with the resorts goes way back; he and his wife, Jelena, married at the Aman Sveti Stefan Resort in Montenegro. 'I always found the brand's approach to holistic wellbeing, integrating mind, body, and spirit, resonates with my own lifestyle and philosophy. This partnership allows me to share my learnings and wellness practices from years at the top of professional sport, with the purpose of helping others enhance their lives through intentional, restorative experiences.' As Aman's Global Brand and Wellness Advisor, Djokovic is excited about the new 'Detoxification Programme,' which he designed with Aman's spa and wellness team. 'The Detoxification Programme we've developed together is something I'm deeply proud of,' he says. 'It brings together years of personal exploration into nutrition, mindfulness, movement, and recovery. In fact, everything that is featured I've tried myself at some point in my career, whether during training or in moments of rest—for example my recent visit to Amanpuri in December. I'm looking forward to people experiencing not just physical renewal, but also a deeper emotional and mental reset which his achievable, even in relatively a short space of time. It's a chance to step away from the noise and reconnect with yourself, which I think is essential in today's world.' The program is currently available at seven of Aman's properties. And, upcoming this year, he will be curating his first in-person retreat (date and location still to be announced). Aman's partnership with Djokovic is just one part of their increasing focus on the world of tennis. Last month, they launched 'Aman Tennis Club,' a line of tennis-inspired clothes, at Amanruya, Bodrum, with friends of the brand—including Djokovic himself. 'As everything else that we do with Aman Essentials, we always get inspired by our beloved Aman junkies, loyal customers—by their demands, their lifestyle, and their rhythm,' Kristina Romanova, CEO of Aman Essentials, says. 'We usually don't follow the trends; we focus really on our loyalists. So that was the case with the Aman Tennis Club.' Tennis, she adds, 'is a great game—it's fun and elegant and intellectual. [There are] new studies that prove that playing can reflect on your longevity; tennis players, and racket sports in general, help you to stay in shape but also it makes your brain work in a certain way and definitely reflects on your overall well-being. It's such a great sport.' For aspiring tennis players (playing on the courts of Aman resorts or just in their hometowns), Djokovic's advice is to 'stay open-minded and curious, never stop dreaming and pushing oneself.' He adds tennis players should 'prioritize looking after the body and the mind,' which are both 'equally as important' to succeed. A ready-to-wear fashion and accessories collection, inspired by the tennis tour, is now available to purchase on all Aman properties. Select pieces are also for sale online:$167.00 at at at This summer, Djokovic is looking forward to continue challenging himself and 'push new limits' on the court. But off the court, he's mainly focused on spending time with his family and exploring nature. 'For the past 20 years my ups and downs in sport, I hope, have inspired people around the world in one way or another—whether to pick up a racquet and play tennis, or to believe in their dreams and not give up,' Djokovic says. 'I consider myself an eternal student of life, and this for me has made a great difference.' Our Favorite Beauty Brands Just Happen To Be Queer-Owned—Here's What To Shop From Them During Pride Month

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." It's officially Pride month, which means there's no better time to support and shop from LGBTQIA+ owned and founded brands (even though you should definitely be doing that for the LGBTQIA+ community isn't limited to 30 days, people!) To celebrate these incredible brands and founders, many of whom also give back to LGBTQIA+ charities, we're highlighting all things beauty. Think: a queer-owned press-on nail brand with the chicest designs (and brand founder) and unique summer fragrances that'll turn heads and rack up compliments wherever you go. Ahead, we've rounded up the best LGBTQ-founded beauty brands guaranteed to elevate your vanity and all your summer glam moments. "I think I tell someone to try Quickies press-on nails once a day, if not more," says beauty editor Beth Gillette. Prior to Quickies, founder Bailey Stanworth was constantly getting gel manicures, but had to stop when COVID shut down nail salons. Her answer was developing her own press-ons that were similar to the trendy designs she'd get done at the salon, which she eventually turned into a whole brand in 2021. "I really love how many different shapes and lengths are offered," Gillette continues. "The mini length is fantastic for me, since I like to keep my nails quite short—lesbian core, TBH." Plus, $1 of every single order is donated to LGBTQ+ foundations all year round. Quickies even launched a whole Pride collection, featuring new press-ons (like the Love is Love set that I'm currently obsessed with) and cute tees and tanks. "My faves overall, though, are the mini length sets, which I've pretty much exclusively worn for the past few months," says Out is beloved for their overnight pimple patches, but I just want to note that the founders are the cutest couple I've ever met in my life. Enrico Frezza hails from Milan (thick Italian accent and all), and he and his husband, Junior Scott Pence, created the brand a decade ago to help acne-prone skin. Peace Out offers a bunch of different treatment patches, including Dark Spot Brightening Dots to Early Stage Pimple Patches that target baby blemishes (the Early Stage patches are a 2024 Cosmo Acne Award for their ability to shrink and calm breakouts). There's no better time to stock up on queer-owned Boy Smells than now. And no, it's not just because it's Pride Month. The cult-favorite brand can be credited for birthing a candle renaissance a few years back with their iconic LES scent and collabs with celebs like Kacey Musgraves. Recently, they launched a major rebrand featuring revamped scents and fresh takes on their beloved candles. Oh, and did we mention they're more affordable now? We love a thoughtful, consumer-forward glow-up. And for that, this is a brand to support well beyond June. If I'm gonna trust anyone with my face, it's gonna be Patrick Starrr. The celeb makeup artist and licensed aesthetician knows glam like nobody else—and his brand, One/Size, proves it. Home to Beyoncé's go-to setting spray, longwear complexion heroes, and makeup that always delivers, this line is made for everybody (hence the name). Whether you're going full drag glam or keeping it minimal, the formulas are that flexible. The viral On 'Til Dawn formula was also crowned best setting spray in Cosmo's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards for its impressive staying power. It's a favorite of Gillette, she calls it her "going out secret weapon." Here at Cosmo we've loved Mara Beauty long before knowing founder Allison McNamara was queer. The Sea Sculpt Body Oil is a two-time Cosmo Clean Beauty Award winner. "It's great for smoothing, firming, and nourishing skin thanks to marine actives like kelp sea oil and plankton,' says beauty director Lauren Balsamo. The underlying theme of the entire brand is algae, which is infused into every product with a proprietary blend hand-collected in Ireland and France that's loaded with minerals and vitamins your skin loves. Cool, right? "Every product I've tested is fire, but my absolute favorite is the new Pearl Peptide Glaze Hydrating & Brightening Facial Essence, which makes my skin sooooo glowy," says Gillette. David Yi is not only the author of Pretty Boys; a writer for Vogue, WWD, GQ, and more publications; and a GLAAD and Webby nominee—he's also the founder of Good Light (and an editor for the brand's media platform, Very Good Light). As a non-binary, queer founder, he's created a brand that works to also exist beyond the binary. All of the brand's skincare products, marketing, and imagery are gender inclusive. Also, 1 percent of all sales are donated to True Colors United, an organization focused on helping LGBTQIA+ youth homelessness. Winner of a Cosmopolitan Acne Award, the Alphabet Oil is fantastic for moisturizing skin without clogging pores. "I never thought I could be a face oil person with my acne-prone skin, but I'm a changed woman after testing this lightweight formula." says Gillette. "After using it for months, I can confidently say it hasn't clogged my pores or led to breakouts—but even better, it's made my skin seriously glowy and soft.' Obvi, we love that Undefined Beauty is helmed by an LGBTQIA+, Black founder... but we also really love that its big focus is on being a clean, conscious brand too. Their products make skincare feel simpler (you won't see complicated product names that don't explain what they'll do for your skin), all using a mix of plant-based botanicals and active ingredients that are proven to work. Super cool, though: They partner with female-founded, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ businesses across their supply chain. "I love the whole line," says Gillette, "but I'm partial to the sunscreens, specifically the SPF 50 Sun Serum." Beauty editor-at-large Julee Wilson named their Sun Elixir one of the best SPFs for deep skin. "It's unlike anything I've tried—a broad spectrum chemical SPF 50 that's literally transparent magic on melanin-rich skin," she writes. "It glides on like silk, hydrates like a serum, and protects like a boss." Hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons is known for his work on Khloe Kardashian, Madonna, Demi Moore, Megan Fox, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey—you name the diva, he's probably worked on their hair. And on every single client, he's used his eponymous haircare line, complete with shampoos, conditioners, texture spray, curl cream, hairspray, and leave-ins. "I've been using this line since it first launched—when I was a baby beauty editor, no less—and it's become a mainstay in my fine hair routine," says Gillette. "My go-to is the Body Volume Blow Dry Hold Spray, which makes it look like I have genuinely double the amount of hair I actually have, and with the Aprés Sexe Texture Spray, it's a match made in heaven for a big blowout." Not to mention, Fitzsimons' brand is hella dedicated to giving back, especially to the trans community. They partner with the Trans Wellness Center and London LGBTQ+ Community Center by sending product donations, plus the brand also offers all of their retail partners pronoun training workshops for store associates. If you're looking to step into the world of all things at-home LED, Solawave is one of the best places to start (especially if you're looking to support a queer brand). I'm personally obsessed with the brand's Red Light Wand, which won a Cosmo Holy Grail Award (it's ideal for on-the-go LED and targeting small areas) and their innovative product lineup of eye, face, neck, and chest devices. The LED Eye Mask recently won a 2025 Holy Grail Award for its quick three-minute treatment time and ability to address crow's feet, puffiness, and dark under-eyes. Solawave makes once-pricey treatments that were only available during in-office appointments, actually accessible. And for that, we have no choice but to stan. Founded by two West End dancers, AKT London first launched a deodorant (it's a 2025 Clean Beauty Award winner) that was clean and truly effective for all-day activity. The brand has now expanded into all types of bodycare, including scrubs and washes, elevating our shower experiences immensely. Balsamo is obsessed with the brand's new scrub, saying that it "makes my skin so soft and smooth and is a delight to use in the shower." Not to mention, every product smells incredible too, so I'd even argue the products can double as a signature scent.
