The Hamptons Go Green
Like the siren song of ocean waves breaking against pristine sandy beaches that draws overworked New Yorkers onto the gridlocked Long Island Expressway on Summer Fridays, nautical blue is the color long associated with the Hamptons. Now, a trio of new coffee table books offering a peek inside the houses and gardens of the three of the East End's most sought-after interior designers makes the case for optimizing your weekend recovery time by infusing your second home with shades of green. 'I find greens very soothing and relaxing,' says Alfredo Paredes in Alfredo Paredes at Home (Rizzoli), which was co-written with his husband, Brad Goldfarb, and features an introduction by his mentor and former boss, the Hamptons éminence grise Ralph Lauren. Paredes, who made his name as Ralph Lauren Home's longtime chief creative officer, reveals the Victorian cottage on Shelter Island he shares with Goldfarb and their two children that's every bit as chic and homey as Polo Bar. He says his secret to keeping the patina and authenticity of a historical property while also making it feel fresh and up-to-date is 'letting a house 'talk' to you so you can understand what it really does or does not need.' In the case of this quaint 19th-century home, which sits high on a bluff overlooking Dering Harbor, that meant keeping its distinctive green-and-white striped porch awnings that had been a feature of the facade for decades and are visible from the windows of the family and living rooms. Paredes let Pantone guide the decor, so green glazed vintage 1930s and 1940s pottery graces the breakfast room coffee table, bottle green wide stripe fabric by Bennison covers armchairs and accent pillows, and botanically-inspired artwork and prints add a verdant finish to the master bedroom and other spaces throughout the home. In Marshall Watson: Defining Elegance (Rizzoli), a self-confessed green thumb explains that since he spends so much time outdoors in the summer, he's curated individual 'rooms' within his East Hampton garden. The 'foyer' where Watson and his husband, Paul Sparks, greet dinner guests highlights Roald Dahl, Autumn Sunset, and Eden Climber roses, while their al fresco 'dining room' features a round stone dining table flanked by London plane trees and dramatic views of Gardiners Bay. 'Color and texture, too, remain of the utmost significance: while indoors the walls serve as a backdrop for the contents of a room, I use the rich green tapestry of my hedges as a foil for the bright yellows and pinks of the plants as they unfold,' Watson writes. David Kleinberg, meanwhile, has transformed his own East Hamptons hideaway into a veritable Eden. In David Kleinberg: Interiors (Monacelli) he offers a look at the four-acre property replete with a field of waist-high Queen Anne's lace and a 19th-century French settee perfectly situated for quiet repose in between geometric beds of ornamental grasses. When Kleinberg first moved in, Martha Stewart told him that meadows are the hardest thing to maintain and he didn't believe her, but now he's glad he didn't listen. 'My garden gives me enormous pleasure,' he writes. 'While I don't love the pain and suffering it takes to get from New York City to the Hamptons, I'm always very happy when I'm here.' Kylie Jenner Just Dropped The Most Bombshell Coded Swimwear Line
Kylie Jenner wearing the Allure Push Up Bikini Top and Mackenzie Bikini Bottoms / Image: Kylie Jenner is bringing back the push-up bra – or bikini that is. After weeks of build-up and sneak peaks of the socialite wearing the pieces on vacation, Jenner's swimwear line with Frankies Bikinis has launched. A collaboration between Jenner's brand Khy, and Frankies, the line features bikini tops and bottoms, mini dresses, and coordinating separates, for time both in the water and on land. Inspired by vintage lingerie and bombshell swimsuits, the line is decidedly sensual in nature. 'It's not about being overly sexy, but about creating silhouettes that make you feel confident and lifted,' Francesca Aiello, founder of Frankies, told Elle. Jenner asserts the same, explaining, 'when you feel comfortable and supported, your confidence shines through.' Kylie Jenner wearing the Cherish Push Up Bikini Top and Enzo Bikini Bottoms / Image: The collaboration champions fun and expression, with mix and match pieces sure to cater to all tastes. Polka dots, lace, leopard print, and satin; these re-emergenging trends all work together in these pieces to create 'the perfect mix of sweet and sexy,' as Jenner puts it. A focal point of the launch also includes the introduction of the brand's Cloud Cups, which re-invent the classic push-up cup for something more modern and comfortable, yet just as buxom in its results. This collaboration comes shortly after the brand's extremely successful collection with Bella Hadid, which was inspired by the model's Western style. These back-to-back collections continue to show that Frankies has long mastered the art of taking sartorial elements we love the most from our favourite celebrities, and morphing them into the perfect summer looks. You can now shop the collection here. Suni Lee Gets Ready for the 2025 ESPYs
Photography by Sarah Krick Suni Lee knows how to stick the landing — whether it's on a balance beam, a red carpet, or a major personal milestone. The 22-year-old gymnast made history as the first Hmong American Olympian, dazzled the world with her gold medal win in Tokyo, and faced down serious health challenges with the same poise she brings to the podium. Last night at the 2025 ESPY Awards, Lee accepted the honor of 'Best Comeback Athlete', marking not just a return to form, but a full-circle transformation. Before the trophy came the glam. For her red carpet moment, Lee wore an Oscar de la Renta gown in liquid gold — a nod, she says, to another icon. Photography by Sarah Krick Photography by Sarah Krick 'My original inspiration was a photo I saw of Beyoncé in a gold dress,' Lee tells Grazia. The image in question? Beyoncé at the 2004 BRIT Awards in a gilded Dolce & Gabbana gown. 'After that, I became obsessed with finding the one , and I'm so happy this came together for such a fun night like the ESPYs.' Here, Lee opens her beauty bag, playlist queue, and heart — offering an intimate look at her red carpet prep, her evolving relationship with fashion, and why Zendaya and her mom remain her twin sources of inspiration. GETTING READY: THE GOLDEN GIRL ERA On the vision for the look: 'My amazing glam team and I decided to go in a very 'golden girl' direction, which was really exciting since I typically lean into a more natural look. I love how the blown-out hair and bronzey makeup really completed the Oscar de la Renta gown, yet still let it shine.' On working with stylist Brian Meller: 'He always encourages me to trust my gut and pick what makes me feel the best, which I really appreciate. It can get so overwhelming, and I am so lucky to have his insight and guidance.' On her red carpet MVP: 'I've always loved Zendaya's red carpet moments. She's just so fearless with her fashion and always looks confident no matter what she's wearing. That's really inspiring to me, because as an athlete, I'm used to feeling confident in competition gear, but expressing myself through fashion is still new for me. Watching her own every look reminds me that confidence is really the best accessory you can have.' Clutch essentials? 'I would definitely say my lip combo — and then some gum or mints. Specifically for a red carpet, since I'm talking a lot, haha! So crucial.' Texts in the glam chair: 'Definitely my mom and best friends! I always need a little boost of encouragement from the people closest to me before a big event like the ESPYs, and I appreciate them so much for keeping me entertained and distracting me from any nerves.' Getting ready playlist: 'Anything Drake or SZA is my go to! I pretty much always have them on shuffle.' Photography by Sarah Krick Photography by Sarah Krick THE COMEBACK On being named Best Comeback Athlete: 'It means the absolute world to me. I remember not even knowing if I would ever be able to participate in gymnastics again, and to go from that to now — being nominated alongside the other amazing athletes — it's just unbelievable. I am so grateful.' On what's changed mentally: 'Having confidence in myself has truly changed everything for me. I see so much more progress when I trust my abilities and strength — both mental and physical.' On representing her community: 'I hope young Asian American girls see themselves as the strong, capable, and powerful women I know they are. I've always wanted to be the representation I wished to see, and now that I'm here, I hope to encourage and inspire as much as possible.' Photography by Sarah Krick Photography by Sarah Krick STYLE, CITY, AND SELFHOOD On being the first Hmong American Olympian: 'It is totally what keeps me going! Little Suni would never believe the place we're currently in, and she reminds me every day to keep pushing the boundaries of what I thought possible.' NYC vs. Minnesota Suni: 'It's so funny because there's totally a vibe change between when I'm in NYC versus home in Minnesota. 'NYC Suni' is very independent and self-sufficient, and when I'm 'Minnesota Suni,' I want to be surrounded by friends and family, eating the amazing Hmong food my mom is cooking. I love both versions!' On her personal style evolution: 'I've definitely leaned more into the street style that New York is so known for since being here. Since I've been working with Brian, he's really elevated my day-to-day thought process when picking out clothes. I think my style evolution has a lot to do with just growing up and maturing as well — I definitely lean more toward timeless pieces than I ever have.' On her dream red carpet risk: 'Maybe a shorter haircut… that one always makes me nervous, but I'm so curious!' Photography by Sarah Krick Photography by Sarah Krick BEYOND THE GYM On her advocacy work with the American Kidney Fund: 'My work with the American Kidney Fund is deeply personal—not only because of the diagnosis I'm living with, but truly due to all of the incredible people who also struggle with this every day and don't have the proper resources provided. One of the hardest parts is knowing it's something I'll carry for the rest of my life. That's why the American Kidney Fund's Know Your Kidneys, Know Your Cause initiative means so much to me. AKF is helping people understand the underlying cause of their kidney disease so they can better manage it and slow its progression. Until I went through this myself, I didn't realize how difficult it can be to even get a proper diagnosis. I'm a professional athlete with an incredible team supporting my health, and even I struggled to get answers—so I can only imagine how hard it is for others without that kind of support.' On redefining success: 'I used to pay a lot of attention to the instant gratification that can come with practice, training, and ultimately winning a competition. Now that I have come out the other side, I really see the value in slowing down and being intentional with my energy. Success isn't measured by the speed at which it comes, which has been a great learning lesson for me.' Bucket list goal that has nothing to do with medals? 'I know I live in New York City and don't need one, but something that has always been on my bucket list is to own a car!' What the next chapter looks like: 'I would love for it to be about fun and quality time with the people I love! My life has been a rollercoaster up until this point, and I'm loving being able to put my focus on lighter things. My story is constantly evolving and I'm so excited to see where that takes me in the future.' Suni Lee may be best known for her gravity-defying routines, but her greatest strength might just be staying grounded. With gold in her step and purpose in her stride, her comeback isn't just complete — it's radiant. Photography by Sarah Krick, Styling by Brian Meller, Hair by Irinel de Leon, Makeup by Maria Vargas

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are seen on July 16, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Raymond Hall/GC Images) Just a few days after their official Instagram hard launch, Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have made their red-carpet debut as a couple, at The Pete & Thomas Gala in New York. Named after her parents, The Pete & Thomas Foundation is an organisation founded by Megan, which aims to 'provide resources to effect meaningful and positive change' for underprivileged communities. The foundation does this through focusing on education, housing, and community support. Stepping out for the inaugural event dedicated to the heartfelt cause, Megan had the Dallas Mavericks star by her side in support. While on the red-carpet, the rapper gushed to Page Six about her new relationship. Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are seen on July 16, 2025 in New York City. (Photo by Raymond Hall/GC Images) 'This is my first relationship where I've ever been with somebody who's genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy,' she disclosed. 'I've just never dated somebody like him before and I'm just grateful that he's here by my side.' The pair looked ever the power couple, particularly in their matching black outfits. While Thompson opted for a black tux, Megan wore a stunning black halter gown with a keyhole cut out and a wide beaded belt detail at the hips. This red-carpet appearance and insight into their relationship comes after Thompson hard launched their relationship on Instagram just this weekend. The athlete posted a photo-dump which included an image of Megan from behind, as well as one of the pair holding hands. Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson / Image: Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson / Image: While at the time, fans were certain the woman in the pictures was Megan, it wasn't until this event that they received a definitive answer. We don't know how long the pair have been involved, however, rumours only began to fly earlier this month. Nonetheless, one things for sure; they look great together on a red carpet. topics: megan thee stallion, meg thee stallion, klay thompson, celebrity, celebrity couples, celebrity fashion, fashion, celebrity news, entertainment, celeb couples, Trending
