Vikings Praised After $500,00 Donation to Texas Flood Relief
It may not be a matter in their own backyard, but the Minnesota Vikings couldn't sit back and watch the suffering from afar.

Since the early morning of July 4, extreme rainfall and flash flooding have ravaged parts of Texas, resulting in over 100 deaths and more than 173 missing people.
On Tuesday, July 9, the Vikings announced the organization has committed $500,000 to support rescue and recovery efforts from the floods in Kerr County and Texas Hill Country.
"We are deeply saddened by the continued devastation and loss of life in the Texas Hill Country and can't imagine the pain so many are experiencing," the Wilf family wrote in a statement. "We are praying for peace for the families who have lost a loved one and strength for those who continue to risk their lives leading the rescue and recovery efforts."
ESPN's Adam Schefter amplified the message of solidarity, sharing the statement on X, which garnered over 100,000 views in the first hour of the post, which led to many across the nation to applaud the organization's generosity.

"The Vikings have been doing this type of help for years," one fan wrote. "Heck of an organization. Set the standard."
"Vikings have always been a class act," a second fan replied.
"Major kudos. There does not appear to be any connection between the Wilf's/Vikings to Central Texas or even Texas at all," a third fan added.
The Vikings have a reputation for taking initiative in supporting those in need. In January, the Vikings donated $1 million to California wildfire relief and surpassed $5 million donated just months into the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

56-year-old Dustin Rhodes wins AEW gold in his home state
The crowd in Globe Life Field, and the AEW announcers and wrestlers on our screen, were still processing Adam Cole's possible retirement announcement from moments before. But the show must go on, and a new TNT champion needed to be crowned after Cole vacated. Cole's originally scheduled opponent Kyle Fletcher was a part of the 4-way for the vacant belt, as was previous champ Daniel Garcia. Both Garcia and his mentor Matt 'Daddy Magic' Menard shared a moment with Cole during their entrance. Three-time TNT titleholder Sammy Guevara was also in the match, along with the man he holds the ROH Tag titles with, Dustin Rhodes. That duo was in their second match of the night, after winning an 8-man on the pre-show. Rhodes and Guevara, together known as Sons of Texas, worked together on occasion, and didn't work against each other, including during a bit of fun where all three babyfaces hit Dustin's Unnatural Kick/Shattered Dreams on the favorite Fletcher. But their alliance broke down after Sammy inadvertently hit a corner drop kick on his partner. Garcia tried to take advantage of that, setting off a sequence that would end when Guevara took out Fletcher with a cutter as Garcia locked his partner in a Dragontamer. But Dustin was able to reverse the hold and roll the younger man up for a win, taking his first AEW gold in his home state at 56-years-old. The Texans in attendance loved it, as did the ones who came into celebrate with Rhodes, his nephews Wayne & Wyatt Rhodes and his trios partners Ross & Marshall Von Erich. Arizona Cardinals to face 6 top-10 pass rushers in 2025
The Cardinals do not have any edge rushers in ESPN's top 10 (no surprise) but will face many of them as opponents. As NFL training camp approaches for most NFL teams (the Los Angeles Chargers reported on Saturday), sites continue to publish lists, rankings and predictions. ESPN has been revealing player rankings at different positions, but with a twist. They are based on the votes of coaches, scouts and executives. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler revealed the rankings for the edge rushers — the top 10 and four honorable mentions. While the Cardinals upgraded the position group this offseason with Josh Sweat, it is no surprise that no Cardinals players even get honorable mention.
