A 'Wheel of Fortune' set remodel? Vanna White, Ryan Seacrest explain.
Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest chat with USA TODAY's Bryan Alexander about updates made to the "Wheel of Fortune" set.
A new military mom who competed on Wheel of Fortune had herself a big night, but winning wasn't enough. She challenged host Ryan Seacrest to a plank-off.
Becky Lenski, a fitness instructor from Yorkville, Illinois, took home $73,000 and a trip to Costa Rica on the April 16 episode of the game show. During the show, Lenski said that she had two sons, a recent Army enlistee named Van and a freshman at Ole Miss named Max.
Lenski's night did not end with her big win, as she challenged Seacrest to a planking competition that left the Wheel of Fortune host in a complicated situation.
A plank-off
In a video posted on Instagram by the official Wheel of Fortune account, Seacrest and Lenski are seen during their plank-off.
'Becky, our fitness instructor contestant tonight, has challenged me to a plank-off,' Seacrest said.
But before starting the duel, a slightly scared Seacrest asked Lenski if the planks were going to be done with their shoes.
'Sure,' she said.
'Oh, man. Alright,' Seacrest responded.
Co-host Vanna White stood next to Lenski and Seacrest, timing their planks.
As both were holding their planks, Lenski said that she had been a fitness instructor for 15 years, continuously reminding Seacrest to watch his form as if he were one of her students. As both changed to a sideways plank, Seacrest began to slip a little, almost falling to the ground.
'Watch your hips!' she said.

Plank-off ends in a draw and a burp
As two minutes passed, Lenski and Seacrest agreed to call the plank-off a draw, eventually ending the duel after two minutes and 12 seconds. After Seacrest got up from the floor, he is seen silently burping.
'Well, it caused me to burp. I'll let you know that,' he said.
Since the show, Lenski posted on Instagram that she "grew up watching with my parents, and continued that tradition with my boys."
"The only thing that would've made this day better was if my parents could be there, but I know they'll be watching up in heaven!" she wrote. "Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
After the show, Seacrest shared photos on Instagram of both him and Lenski planking, saying: 'Becky brought her A-game to the puzzle board and the plank mat. I brought a questionable core and the wrong shoes #wheeloffortune.'

Beef fries specialist, frités goes out of business
Frités, the beloved fries joint famous for their loaded beef fries, announced the closing of their 114 Arab Street outlet on 22 Jun through an Instagram post a few days back. Since bursting into the F&B scene in 2023 with their viral-loaded fries — think truffle‑infused beef, spicy garlic aioli, and indulgent cheesy drizzles — frités quickly became a local favourite. This Muslim-owned establishment captured the attention of foodies across Singapore, earning high praise on the internet. They went on to open their first and only standalone outlet at Arab Street in Sep 2023, selling their signature crispy golden fries loaded with sauces from an eye-catching yellow kiosk. Frités' best-selling combos include the Cheesy Loaded Beef (S$11) and Truffle Loaded Beef (S$11). More recently, they've come out with a trendy series of Loaded Chachos in a Bag (S$11), which are essentially nachos topped with your choice of protein and sauces, all snuggled into a chip packet. Over their 2 years of business, frités has been a vendor at countless events and pop-ups, including Celebfest, TWILIGHT: Flea & Feast, and even this year's installation of the largest Ramadan Geylang Serai Bazaar. In response to frités' closure announcement, many netizens expressed disappointment over the news, while also voicing their curiosity about the reason behind the shutdown. For fans eager to indulge one last time, frités invites you to swing by Arab Street before they close for good. Their past pop‑ups suggest they may still offer event or mall pop-ups in the future, though nothing's been confirmed yet. So, don't miss your chance to savour frités' loaded beef fries from now till 22 Jun, and as per their Instagram caption, 'Let's go out with a loaded bang!'
