Fourth person dies following Northern Ireland shooting
Police said Ian Rutledge, 43, died in hospital following the incident in Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh, on Wednesday.
Vanessa Whyte, 45, a vet originally from Co Clare, her son James, 14, and daughter Sara, 13, died earlier following the same incident.
A murder investigation was launched last week.
On Monday night, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said Mr Rutledge had been in hospital in a serious condition, and died that evening.
'Detectives have reiterated their appeal for anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward,' the police spokesperson said.
The incident took place in the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge
All four people are members of the same household and all four suffered gunshot wounds, police said.
Speaking at the time, detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said: 'Today, our thoughts remain with those loved ones whose worlds have been torn apart.'
He continued: 'Our investigation is continuing and I am keen to reiterate our appeal for anyone with information to get in touch.
'I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who had spoken to Vanessa, Sara or James over the last few weeks. If you are someone that Vanessa, Sara or James may have confided in, please come and speak to us.
'Any information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem could prove crucial to our investigation.'
First Minister Michelle O'Neill and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly, on Wednesday, expressed their shock at the tragedy.
"We are deeply saddened by the events which have unfolded in Maguiresbridge this morning", they said in a joint statement.
"Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims and their families, and the wider community."We want to pay tribute to and thank our emergency services who responded to the incident."

Charges dropped against Clawson woman in London Thomas death investigation
Wayne County prosecutors were granted their request for charges to be dropped against a Clawson woman accused of lying to investigators in connection with the disappearance and death of 17-year-old London Thomas. Charla Rashida Pendergrass, 48, was charged in May with lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation. Those charges were dropped Monday after prosecutors noted that Pendergrass allegedly lied to FBI agents while they conducted a criminal investigation into Thomas' death. During Monday's proceedings, it was determined that a federal agent does qualify under MCL - Section 750.479c. The county's case against Pendergrass was dismissed without prejudice; however, prosecutors can refile charges against Pendergrass at a later date. Pendergrass, who is the mother of Thomas' boyfriend, was arrested and charged on May 4. Thomas was last seen around midnight on April 5 after she was dropped off at an Inkster residence on the 27000 block of Carlysle Street near Inkster Road. Thomas' body was found in Southfield on April 26. Neighbors living in the area of Millard Street near Berg Road say her body was found inside an SUV parked in the driveway of a home. Police arrest man wanted on Canada-wide warrant after deadly Pickering house fire
PICKERING — Police say a man wanted for murder on a Canada-wide warrant after a house fire in Pickering, Ont., nearly two months ago has been arrested. Durham police responded to the fire on June 11 at around 2:20 p.m. and found a 69-year-old woman dead inside the home. Investigators ruled the death a homicide a week later and identified two suspects. Police say they arrested a 34-year-old man on Friday and he has been charged with second-degree murder. They also arrested a 34-year-old woman in June and charged her with accessory after the fact to murder. Police say a bail hearing has already been held for the man. NYC office building reopens week after mass shooting in Midtown Manhattan
The New York City office building where a gunman fatally shot four people and himself reopened Monday, one week after the deadly rampage. Workers returned to 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan under the watchful eyes of NYPD officers and a surplus of additional security following the mass shooting. According to investigators, gunman Shane Tamura was targeting the National Football League headquarters when he unloaded 47 rounds from an assault rifle, killing four people, including an off-duty NYPD officer, before turning the gun on himself. Many companies inside the building left it up to employees to decide whether they were ready to return. The NFL told its employees to work remotely until the end of the week, and Blackstone officials said their workers were given the option to work from home. The shooting victims were identified as NYPD Det. Didarul Islam, Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner, Rudin Management employee Julia Hyman and security officer Aland Etienne. LaPatner, Hyman and Islam, were laid to rest last week. Etienne's funeral will be held on Saturday. "I just feel sad, you know. That's really what I feel at this point in time. Just very sad for all the innocent lives lost," a man who works at the Bank of America on the ground floor said. "It's not going to feel the same because now every time that you walk by here now, it's just, unfortunately, stained." He added that his colleagues had helped one of the shooting victims open a bank account. St. Bartholomew's Church, next door to 345 Park Ave., raised a banner offering its support to workers still healing from the trauma inflicted by the shooting. "We are here for you," the banner reads, a small comfort amid unimaginable grief.
