Love Island star could be forced to leave villa as she's told upsetting news

Daily Mirrora day ago

Love Island 2025 contestant on Monday night that could lead to an early exit.
New Islander Shakira was left reeling is she learned something from host Maya Jama that could put an end to her villa experience within hours. She was no doubt rattled by a twist that left her at risk of being dumped, with host Maya sharing some concerning news.
Shakira was left fearing the worst when new bombshell Toni entered the villa and stole her man, Ben. With that Shakira was now single, and she was told that she was now at risk of leaving the show for good, just hours into her experience.
Maya advised her that she had just 24 hours to save her place in the villa, and it could come at a cost for someone else. The Islander had to get grafting and try and couple up with another boy.
While she couldn't steal Ben back from Toni, she was allowed to steal any of the other boys from the other girls. There was a catch though that could seal her fate.
The person Shakira chose had to agree to pair up with her and leave their current partner. If they say no, then Shakira will remain single and will most likely be dumped from the villa in the next episode.
She has just 24 hours to convince a guy to choose her over their current girl. If successful, that girl left single by Shakira stealing their man will be the one dumped from the show instead.
This was no doubt worrying and upsetting for Shakira, who had just spent the day bonding with the other girls. Now she has to commit the ultimate betrayal, and if she fails she will leave the show just hours in.
It's thought the scenes may have already been filmed and will air on Tuesday night. This has yet to be confirmed by ITV, but it seems someone may have already been axed from the show.
It comes as Maya also shared a warning to the other girls on the show as the big twist took place. During filming, Maya dropped some big news to the girls about Shakira having to steal one of their men to stay on the series.
With that she warned the girls to "keep their boys very close" if they wanted to remain in the villa, or they would have to prepare for an early exit. With that the girls were reeling over the fact Shakira now had the opportunity to take their villa time away from them, if their man was chosen and agreed to the swap.
Viewers will have to watch the next episode to see if Shakira gets close to any of the other guys, and if someone else will be sent packing.

Love Island fans 'rumble' first Casa Amor bombshell - and it's a past Islander

Love Island 2025 viewers are convinced they know the first name to be confirmed for this year's Casa Amor before the twist has even been confirmed on the ITV2 series Viewers think they already know which former Love Island star is set to enter the famous second villa, Casa Amor. During the series and just as the couples have usually formed strong bonds, the series airs a second villa twist with new arrivals. For a few days the original boys and girls are split up in separate villas, with a group of new boys and girls arriving to cause drama. ‌ The twist has often led to unexpected betrayals, shock exits and new couples. Ahead of the show confirming if it will air this year or not, fans think they already know someone who will enter as part of the shake-up. ‌ Sophie Lee was axed from the show on Tuesday night in a brutal dumping, after her partner Harry was stolen by Shakira. Sophie's exit left fans stunned with many gutted to see her go so early on. But some viewers are now convinced her time on the show isn't over. With a recent series seeing a dumped girl return to the villa for Casa Amor, viewers are now speculating Sophie will be back on the show in a matter of weeks, as a bombshell in the second villa. Taking to X, fans guessed the twist would happen with one fan writing: "I reckon Sophie will re-enter the villa as a bombshell by the end of next week at the latest or she will re-enter in Casa Amor." Another said: "Dw Sophie you'll be back in 4 weeks for Casa Amor." A third viewer begged: "Nah bring Sophie back for Casa Amor she deserves a chance." A fourth fan agreed: "Bring her back for casa amor!!" as a fifth viewer posted: "Gutted for her and bring back Sophie as a bombshell or Casa Amor." The comments kept on coming with one reading: "They better bring Sophie back as a Casa bombshell. Justice for Sophie." Another said: "BRING SOPHIE BACK FOR CASA AMOR!" ‌ It comes after Sophie was axed from the show in the latest episode. Despite not initially being at risk of an early exit, the motivational speaker and author was abruptly booted out of the villa after her man Harry was chosen by newly single Shakira. It was Shakira who had been told by host Maya Jama in the previous episode that she could be leaving within hours. Shakira had just 24 hours to woo another man, after her partner Ben was stolen by American bombshell Toni. ‌ Blu, Conor and Harry all chose to opt for Shakira, knowing full well she'd only be able to pick one of them. It wasn't an easy choice, more so because she knew, as clarified by Maya, that the girl left single would be going home instead of her. With the three boys standing, Shakira's fate was sealed. It was then Helena, Alima and Sophie who were at risk. It came down to Shakira choosing out of the three boys, with some encouragement from Maya. Maya urged the Islander to remember why she was here, no doubt trying to lessen her panic over sending a girl home but also so she would make the right choice. With that, Shakira named Harry as the man she wanted to steal. Sophie was immediately dumped from the villa as a result, as Maya confirmed she was now single and would be leaving the show.

Love Island fans demand star is 'sent home immediately' after twist reaction

Three Love Island boys stepped forward for Shakira tonight during a tense firepit ceremony, letting their partners know they were willing to jump ship to another woman Love Island fans were left gobsmacked after a dramatic night at the Firepit saw Blu stand up for bombshell Shakira, only for her to choose someone else, leaving him slinking back to his original partner. After being made vulnerable by Toni's shock arrival last night (June 9), Shakira was given 24 hours to turn heads in the villa or risk being dumped. The determined woman decided to secure her place on Love Island by speaking to almost every boy, hoping to sway at least one of them towards her and away from their original coupling. Meg and Megan were particularly rattled by Shakira going after their men, but Dejon was quick to reassure his partner, and Tommy even shared a smooch with Megan, letting her know where his heart lies. ‌ However, sparks were flying during Shakira's conversation with Blu. She admitted that she was intrigued by him, saying: "I think you've got a good vibe…you're very calming and I don't have to put on a bravado." She also told the construction manager that she feels like she can be herself with him. ‌ Later that night, host Maya Jama returned to the villa to let Shakira know her time was up. All the Islanders were told to gather around the fire pit, and any of the boys holding a torch for her were told to step forward, with the possibility that they would be able to form a new couple with the marketing executive. In a shocking twist, not one but three boys stood up. Blu, Harry, and Conor were all swayed by Shakira's charms. However, Blu ultimately did not get selected and sheepishly went back to his original partner, Alima. Viewers were appalled by him deciding to double time one of their favourite Love Island personalities, and quickly began criticising him on X. One person fumed: "Send Blu home with immediate effect." Another exclaimed: "Blu needs to leave my villa immediately!!" A third ominously predicted: "I don't know how but Blu I will make sure you leave that Villa." ‌ It comes after fans questioned some "missing scenes" after some drama between two Islanders. Just last night on the series fans watched as the original couples were formed, before bombshell Toni caused carnage. While some couples were clearly thrilled by their pairings, others were not. Shakira and Ben even had a frosty moment just moments before Toni entered the villa and stole him. Ben had claimed to Maya that their pairing was "love/hate" sparking confusion with fans. Many wondered if they'd missed some scenes, unsure why the couple were already "bickering" as one of their co-stars put it just hours into the show. ‌ They'd had a chat before Toni's entrance where Ben had seemed to hint he was already thinking about who else might come in, and he didn't seem interested in the brunette. Fans picked up on this, also noting Shakira didn't look impressed by their chat. As some viewers wondered if a secret row had not been aired, one fan posted on X: "I think Shakira was disappointed with Ben's answers," while another guessed: "Ben saying he's not sure if he can put up with Shakira has gone right into red flag territory." A third fan said: "Ben doesn't like Shakira AT ALL!" A fourth fan wrote: "Feeling horrible for Shakira right now Ben is not even trying to hide the fact he does not like her at all." A further post read: "I said he doesn't like Shakira."
