The offseason stop was one of many for NFL stars around the league hosting football camps during the offseason downtime ahead of training camps.
As noted by WSAZ and others, travel delays moved the start of this particular camp hosted by Higgins back just a few hours before the standard football camp process unfolded with the Bengals star at the center.

Myles Garrett hints Steelers' Aaron Rodgers is next for his QB graveyard
The AFC North is as dangerous as advertised — and new Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is finding that out the hard way, courtesy of Browns star Myles Garrett. Rodgers set the NFL world ablaze when he made his decision to sign with Pittsburgh, and Garrett is looking forward to their eventual meeting — for all the sack-related reasons. At mandatory minicamp, the Browns' 2023 Defensive Player of the Year made his intentions for Rodgers crystal clear: Advertisement 'I think it's a good opportunity to put [Rodgers] in the graveyard.' Garrett is referencing his infamous quarterback graveyard, a Halloween tradition for the Browns defender, featuring tombstones of every signal-caller he's sacked throughout his career — including legendary Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. His chilling warning to Rodgers should serve as motivation for the Steelers' offensive line to keep their quarterback protected. Insider rejects Steelers' T.J. Watt $40 million deal: 'I hadn't heard that number'
The latest T.J. Watt contract update has been dismissed by insider Ian Rapoport. On Friday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Rapoport was asked to speak to the legitimacy of insider James Palmer's report that Watt was expected to earn more than Myles Garrett's $40 million per year — and this was his response: Advertisement "I have not heard that," Rapoport said. "If he gets more than Myles, I would say that is awesome for T.J. These are the guys you pay. He's great. He's a good guy, he is a face of that franchise, and like, these are the kinds of guys who should be paid all the money and should retire as a member of the Steelers. ... I still think it's going to work out, but I hadn't heard that number and I hadn't heard that anything is imminent." Garrett can breathe a sigh of relief, as Rapoport's comments somewhat instill confidence that the Browns superstar will remain the highest-paid defender. It's worth noting that these updates are entirely speculative until Watt puts pen to paper — and hopefully that happens sooner than later, so both parties can put this situation to bed. Steelers send T.J. Watt to Commanders in wild trade hypothetical
The Steelers–T.J. Watt contract woes could carry on for a while longer — but what if Pittsburgh refuses to play along and cuts their losses before an agreement is reached? That is precisely the scenario fantasized by Fox Sports' David Helman — who was tasked with finding the best landing spots for each of the NFL minicamp holdouts. Advertisement According to Helman, while the idea of Pittsburgh sending Watt to the Commanders is highly unlikely, Washington's desperate need for a pass rush warrants the projection. He even acknowledged that trading star WR Terry McLaurin would open more 'financial wiggle room' for the Commanders to add a player of Watt's caliber. When discussing how the Steelers star defender would fit into the Commanders' defense, Helman argued the following: "Adding [Watt] to a pass rush that currently includes Frankie Luvu, Dorance Armstrong, Deatrich Wise, and Clelin Ferrell would upgrade the Washington pass rush from 'so-so' to outright dangerous." Watt could turn the Commanders into instant Super Bowl contenders — but unless Washington offered McLaurin and a haul of premium draft picks, trading away a future Hall of Fame defender feels like an on-field recipe for disaster — and a PR nightmare waiting to happen.
