Molly-Mae makes 'scary' parenting admission as she opens up about confidence

Daily Mirrora day ago

Former Love Island star turned influencer Molly-Mae Hague is mum to Bambi Fury, who she shares with her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury, after the pair met on the ITV2 reality show
Molly-Mae Hague has made a "scary" parenting admission as she opens up about her rollercoaster confidence. The mum-of-one took to her Instagram page where she asked her followers to send in their questions.
One fan asked: "How are you finding motherhood?" Molly then shared a lengthy response where she detailed how she's been coping with looking after her daughter Bambi recently.

The mum-of-one is often honest about motherhood on her social media and this time was no different. She firstly joked in her response by saying "how long have you got?" before writing a long answer for all of her followers.

Molly-Mae, 26, wrote: "One topic I can really talk about. I find how I feel about "motherhood" a really complex subject - also because it changes so regularly.
"Some weeks I absolutely adore being a mum and genuinely don't even want to put Bambi to bed because I know I'll miss her so much... other weeks I'm counting down the minutes until bedtime comes."
Molly then went on to speak about how motherhood can impact her confidence sometimes. She added: "My confidence has been all over the place with Bambi recently to be quite honest.
"I had my first day with her completely alone yesterday for about a week (since Zoe and Danny moved in, we've rarely been along which has been so lovely)... but I was genuinely so so anxious because I just didn't know how I was going to handle the tantrums and defiance alone.

"That's kind of scary to admit I was anxious to take care of my own daughter? It's just the truth. My best friend constantly tells me that Bambi feels my energy and I have to try not get stressed/be calm... but sometimes even when I do my best to be super super calm/positive/the best mum I can be - she still isn't happy?"
The star then went on to explain that she doesn't "know how to handle it" when it comes to Bambi having tantrums sometimes. Molly finished off her post by explaining that she doesn't think she is ready to have another baby yet.
She said: "I was speaking to a gorgeous mum yesterday about it and she was saying she totally understood and then followed it up with 'and then you go on to have three more kids because you forget'... then I sat back and thought ok maybe we aren't feeling the same?

"Because I know there's just not a world in which I would have another baby right now... or maybe there is one day. I just don't know."
Molly gave birth to her daughter Bambi back in January 2023. She has since been sharing updates of motherhood and Bambi growing up.
She shares her daughter with her boyfriend Tommy Fury after the couple met on Love Island. The two of them split last year but recently announced that they were back together.

'A few weeks ago, my family lost my stepdad, Rich – very suddenly to cancer. It has left my family devastated.' Laura, who rose to fame on the reality show in 2023, also opened up about feelings of guilt over not being as close to Rich in recent years. She said: 'That's a guilt I will carry with me for the rest of my life and right now, it feels very heavy.' Advertisement The reality star also reflected on the loss of her father to cancer years earlier, adding: 'Lots of you know that I lost my dad to cancer, the same age as my half-sister is now. 'It feels as though sometimes, life plays out the most painful patterns.' Paying tribute to Rich, she added: 'He came into my life over 20 years ago and brought light and laughter into our family when we really needed it. 'I hope that where you are now, you are at peace and out of pain, and that West Ham are winning every match they play!' Advertisement Laura ended the post by announcing a temporary break from social media. She said: 'I don't know how to show up online for you guys at the minute and therefore I am going to take a break. Laura Vaughan's MAFS diary: Kieran wasn't emotionally available and it broke Kristina - and are Adam and Amy together? 'Sometimes this world feels so painful, so I'm sending an enormous amount of love to anyone struggling.' Laura had a failed love match with tennis coach Arthur Poremba, 38, on MAFS. Advertisement She recently opened up to The Sun about her own private battle in a heartbreaking interview - after she was forced to make a terrible decision. The TV star underwent a heartbreaking medical abortion after unexpectedly finding out she was almost eight months pregnant. She endured the painful procedure after doctors told her she had been unknowingly putting her unborn foetus at high risk of 'extreme' harm and severe birth defects by taking a powerful drug to treat her acne. The medical abortion in 2016, when she was 26, left Laura struggling to make sense of what had happened. Advertisement 'It was very difficult because I went from not thinking I was pregnant to being seven months pregnant to then having a very prolonged abortion and where I was so far gone,' she told The Sun in an exclusive interview. 'Then, when I got home from the procedure, my milk came in, which, as you can imagine, was just really hard to deal with. 'I hunkered down at home for weeks and didn't talk to anyone.' Multiple labour attempts Laura initially thought it was 'impossible' when a Clearblue digital pregnancy test revealed she was expecting. Advertisement And she was even more stunned when doctors told her she was in the third trimester. Although the former finance manager had been suffering from bloating and missed periods, she says she had been told the symptoms were likely caused by a 'ruptured cyst'. She'd gone to see a GP about her symptoms - including bloating and pain in her stomach - but when they looked at her medical records they noticed she'd had a ruptured cyst the year before and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and said that was "likely the cause again". They referred Laura for a scan which she kept forgetting to book. Advertisement Laura was still able to "squeeze into size 6/8 dresses" while not being aware of her pregnancy, and considered her weight gain to be down to bloating the entire time. She said: "It was literally the week I decided to test that my stomach popped, and I remember thinking 'this isn't right'." Recalling the moment the Clearblue test came up with the phrase '2-3 weeks [pregnant]", Laura, now an influencer, said: 'My first thought was 'that's impossible'... but then I realised that is how the tests display it, so I could've been pregnant for months - and I was.' Clearblue's 'weeks indicator' test is designed to be reliable in the early stages of pregnancy. Advertisement Laura's shock at her cryptic pregnancy soon turned into an unimaginable ordeal when she learned the strong acne drug she had been taking, isotretinoin, can cause birth defects. Due to the risk of birth defects to her foetus, Laura was offered a medical abortion - and, with a heavy heart, she accepted it. Recalling the hospital procedure itself, she added: 'I went for the abortion and I was meant to be in and out within a day and a half but I ended up being in for nearly a week. 'They could get me to contract but couldn't get me to full labour, and so I was having contractions and then [they were] stopping. Advertisement "It was agony. It was just so awful for my state of mind, too, going into labour multiple times and then nothing.' Laura, now in a happy and serious relationship, has been put off having children because she 'doesn't want to be reminded of what happened in 2016'. She added: "We spoke about my abortion and he's the first partner I've told about it for a long time. "He's been incredibly supportive, and we have discussed having children but neither of us see children in our future." Advertisement

Brooklyn Beckham's big decision could 'devastate' sister Harper amid family feud

Brooklyn Beckham has a big decision to make which could have a massive impact on his sister Harper, as the Beckham family feud rumbles on The Beckhams have been at the center of an almighty row after eldest son Brookyn, 26, reportedly cut all contact with his parents and siblings amid an ongoing fallout. Brooklyn has failed to acknowledge his family on social media, particularly recently as he snubbed his dad David's 50 th birthday celebrations, refusing to show up to his parties or wish him well on social media. Not only that, but he also made no public mention of congratulations to David on the news of his knighthood nor any social media tributes were given to David or Victoria on Father's Day and Mother's Day respectively. ‌ Now the chef has a big decision to make as his sister Harper's 14 th birthday is approaching on July 10 and if he fails to acknowledge it, it could leave her 'devastated'. A source told MailOnline: 'Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. ‌ 'He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now. It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn't done anything and she's only 13-years-old. 'David and Victoria very much blame Nicola for all of this but hopefully Brooklyn will see sense. While Harper doesn't have her own Instagram yet, the family thing is to tag her in on their posts as #harperseven,' the source concluded. Although the real reason behind the fallout has not been revealed, it's been reported that Brooklyn's wife Nicola, 30, is the reason behind why he no longer speaks to his family. After it was first claimed that Nicola could be at the heart of the falling out, Brooklyn took to Instagram to share support for his wife. He posted a video on Instagram and captioned it: 'My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby." The pair got engaged back in July 2020 before tying the knot two years later. Brooklyn and Nicola got married in a Jewish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, in tribute to his great-great-great grandfather who was Jewish and her father, Nelson Peltz, who also follows the faith. Over the years, Nicola has very much been a part of the family, often being included in family events and joining the Beckhams at red carpet events. ‌ Brooklyn has always had a great relationship with his family, with the brood enjoying holidays together and being there to celebrate momentous occasions together. Notably, a video went viral on social media back in 2018, which showed Brooklyn surprising his father on his 43 rd birthday. It showed David sitting a restaurant in London, as Brooklyn came up behind him and put his arms around him. As soon as the former footballer realised it was his son, he became overcome with emotion and the two embraced. Brooklyn had been in New York and travelled down to London to see his dad on his big day. ‌ The former photographer made it clear that he hasn't shunned his extended family as he acknowledged his grandmother Sandra's 76 th birthday earlier this week. Alongside a sweet picture of the two, he gushed: 'Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.' He's also very much a part of Nicola's family and shares a great rapport with her father Nelson and mother Claudia. Brooklyn showed his father-in-law a very public display of support as he wished the 83-year-old billionaire a happy birthday on his Instagram page yesterday. David, Victoria and their children Harper, Romeo and Cruz live in London at their Holland Park mansion while Brooklyn and Nicola have a home in LA. It remains to be seen whether Brooklyn publicly acknowledges his sister's birthday or whether the gap between the family members will widen if he snubs her.

Gemma Atkinson shares heartbreaking message one year on from devastating loss

Gemma Atkinson has shared a poignant yet uplifting message as she commemorated one year since the painful farewell of her dogs. Followers of Gemma on social media will know how heartbroken she was by the loss of her beloved dogs, Norman and Ollie, who both passed away within six months of each other last year. Announcing Norman's passing last summer, just days before her daughter Mia's fifth birthday, Gemma expressed: "My beautiful boy Norman has passed away." READ MORE - The Queen's steadfast 'antisocial' breakfast habit she refused to change READ MORE - BBC viewers gobsmacked by a bold moment in JADE's Glastonbury performance She added, "My heart is broken," and posted an emotional video with snapshots and footage of him throughout the years with her and Ollie, as well as fiancé Gorka Marquez and their two children, Mia and one year old Thiago. Then, on December 10, Gemma, aged 40, revealed that Ollie had joined Norman, leaving her shattered. In a video filled with memories over the years featuring Ollie and Norman, the Bury-born actress shared with her two million followers: "Sleep well beautiful Ollie..", reports the Manchester Evening News. She continued, "The sadness of losing you both so close together is a lot, but I know you're both somewhere running free in long grass or on a beach chasing the tide carefree, pain-free and happy. That's what I'm taking comfort in right now. I'll remember you for the rest of my life. Norman and Ollie. My two best boys. Reunited." It was this Saturday (June 28) that Gemma took a moment to look back on the 12 months since Norman's death. She turned to Instagram with a touching video that captured the cherished moments she spent with Norman. In an emotional post shared with her 2.1 million followers, she wrote: "A year since we said goodbye to Norman... It's passed by so quickly. "I still get a lot of DMs from people who've recently lost their companion asking how I coped and in all honesty I still a year on have the odd day where it hits me out of nowhere and I miss both Norman and Ollie SO much. I see a man most days walking with a spaniel the spitting image of Ollie and I always smile to myself. "Until you've experienced pet loss it's hard to explain how hard it is. To some they are "just a dog" or "just a pet" and I guess in a way that's what makes us owners so lucky. We know they are so much more than that, because we've experienced the unconditional love and loyalty. "The no judgment regardless of our situation. Those morning stretches and longing looks from them knowing you're their human, and you are the most important loved person every single day of their life. It's the most wonderful feeling you can imagine. I count myself lucky that from age 2 I've had that joy. In Fergie, Norman, Ollie and now Benji." Benji is the new goldendoodle puppy that Gemma and her fiance Gorka Marquez welcomed into their lives last month. She continued: "I know Norm and Ollie played a part in sending him to us. Even from another realm they knew we needed him. Especially Mia. She was struggling and they helped her heal. Benji has helped her heal. "So to those who ask me about losing a pet, I say the pain never truly fades, but I believe it's because they take a small piece of our heart with them - a little memento reminding us that we're their human, and just as we remember and talk about them, they do the same about us." This emotional post sparked an outpouring of love and support. @life_with_hope2023 commented: "Tears are rolling... your words, so true, so beautiful, so poignant. Rest in paradise to all of our soul dogs." @66northgirl replied: "Thank you for that post. Only 6 weeks into the pain of losing my 'furbaby' and still so incredibly raw. Sending love and thoughts to your family." @lucymaygoodwin said: "Never 'just a dog', 'just a cat', 'just a pet'. They are all part of our family and leave a paw print on our hearts for life. Sending you lots of love today." @wrightiesan10 wrote: "What an amazing video. So beautiful. Hope Norman is having the best time at rainbow bridge." @tracyfrostlewis posted: "Oh boy. So beautifully written and so very true. Tears here. Thank you." @tracy. grayson added: "Oh Gemma. This got me. So well take a bit of our hearts."
