SEOUL: One of South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun's luxury apartments worth three billion won (RM9.2 million) has been seized.
According to AsiaOne, the medical aesthetic device brand Classys, which previously signed Soo-hyun as their brand model, filed for the provisional seizure over an unpaid penalty fee due to a breach of contract, which the Seoul Eastern District Court approved recently.
The company had ended their contract with the 37-year-old after his explosive scandal where he was accused of dating the late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was underaged.
She died from suicide in February this year.
Soo-hyun has denied the allegations, claiming they started seeing each other when she was 19 years old.
He owns three Galleria Foret apartments, which he bought in 2013 and 2014.
His lawyers reportedly confirmed one of his units had been seized.
His drama Knock-Off - which was supposed to premiere in the first half of 2025 - has also been postponed indefinitely.

Former THE BOYZ Member Ju Haknyeon Speaks Out On Prostitution Allegations
It's been a rough few days for the K-pop group THE BOYZ (더보이즈). Just days after member Ju Haknyeon (주학년) announced his hiatus, a prostitution allegation emerged, causing him to get booted from the boy group. Yesterday (18th June 2025, Wednesday), THE BOYZ's label, One Hundred Label, announced Ju Haknyeon's departure from THE BOYZ and the label. This announcement follows a previous announcement that the idol was going on a hiatus from his group activities. In the statement, the label revealed that Ju Haknyeon was involved in a controversial incident. After discussing with other group members, One Hundred terminated the idol's contract. Later, reports emerged that the 26-year-old was under suspicion for soliciting prostitution following a meeting with former Japanese adult actress Asuka Kirara (明日花キララ). According to news outlets, the pair and a few acquaintances met at a bar in Tokyo on 30th May 2025. After drinking for hours, Ju Haknyeon gave Asuka a sum of money, triggering suspicion that he had paid her for sex. Under South Korean law, any Korean national who engages in prostitution, whether in the country or abroad, can be subject to a fine or up to one year in prison. News outlets also reported that One Hundred found circumstantial evidence of the incident. After the label presented him with damning evidence, Ju Haknyeon admitted to the accusations and agreed to leave the group and his label due to the possible legal consequences. However, Ju Haknyeon took to his Instagram account to deny the allegations. In his handwritten letter, the singer apologised for the turmoil and admitted to meeting with Asuka. However, he denied participating in illegal actions or prostitution. Ju Haknyeon didn't clarify the matter. Instead, he ended the letter by saying he would reflect on his actions. The issues evoked mixed reactions from fans and netizens. While some condemned the idol for possibly soliciting prostitution, others were confident that he was innocent. Meanwhile, the other members of THE BOYZ have since unfollowed Ju Haknyeon on their personal social media pages. The boy group has written individual messages, apologising for the scandal and assured fans about their future activities. If the allegations are true, Ju Haknyeon will have to face the consequences of his actions. However, if he never engaged in any illegal act, we hope he can clear his name.
