Sölden offers high-alpine adventure with modern flair. Highlights include the cinematic 007 ELEMENTS James Bond experience at over 3,000 meters, the ice Q gourmet restaurant made famous in 'Spectre' and the BIG3 Rally across Sölden's three highest peaks. With 31 lifts and 144 km of slopes, 33 cozy ski huts, an unmatched lineup of on-mountain entertainment and signature events, the resort is known for experiences that go far beyond skiing.

The Epic Pass ($1,051 USD for adults; $537 USD for children) and Epic Adaptive Pass ($527 USD for adults; $270 USD for children) will include five days of access to Sölden. Epic Passes are on sale now at the lowest price of the year through May 26. May 26 is also the last chance to receive two Buddy Tickets (for up to 45% savings on a lift ticket) and six Ski With a Friend Tickets to help Pass Holders share days at their favorite resorts with family and friends. Further, May 26 is the last chance to purchase an Epic Pass with just $49 down. Pay $49 at the time of purchase, with the remainder of the purchase due mid-September.
Sölden is the latest partner resort in Austria to be added to the Epic Pass lineup for the 2025/26 winter season capping of a week of exciting announcements from Vail Resorts. Earlier this week, Austrian ski areas Saalbach and Zell am See-Kaprun, Mayrhofen and Hintertux, and Silvretta Montafon joined the 2025/26 Epic Pass roster. Controversial US-born Chinese Olympic skier Eileen Gu suffers 'terrible accident' in training: report
Eileen Gu, the American-born skier who chose to represent China in the 2022 Olympics, was reportedly involved in a training accident in New Zealand last week. Bystanders at the Cardrona Alpine Resort in Cardrona told the South China Morning Post that Gu appeared to suffer serious injuries and needed to be taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Gu reportedly gave a health update on her Weibo account. "Unfortunately, a very terrible accident occurred yesterday due to human error," she wrote. "Hopefully I'll be back on the snow soon, but I'm still waiting for final confirmation from the expert team. "I have to concentrate fully during training, especially when I am preparing to start, as it's very dangerous to be interrupted. I also have to focus on picturing and imagining the moves while on the cable car. In order to save time, I don't have lunch breaks and try to use the bathroom as little as possible. So please don't record or take photos while I'm training." Gu won two gold medals and a silver at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. She sparked controversy on the Olympic stage as she decided to compete for China over Team USA. Her father is American but her mother is a first-generation Chinese immigrant. During the Games, she dodged questions about her citizenship after winning gold. Chinese state media has claimed that Gu became a Chinese national at the age of 15, according to Reuters. The government does not allow dual citizenship, meaning the California native would have had to give up her U.S. citizenship in order to do so. Gu estimated she's spent at least a quarter of her life in China. Her origin story, as she tells it, begins with the time she pitched the idea for China's first slopestyle ski event at age 9 — and won. She said in 2024 that she planned to represent China again in the 2026 Olympics.

He has struggled to make an impact under Brendan Rodgers and has spent the last two seasons on loan at his former club, Melbourne City. The 23-year-old hasn't really had a chance to make the grade at Celtic although he has been back in the group since pre-season. VIENNA — The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Vienna. Austria's public broadcaster ORF, which will organize the world's largest live music event, announced the location Wednesday morning.
