Popular supermarket item returns to shelves after disappearing in 2024: 'I'm so happy I'm crying'
Celebrations chocolates have returned to Australia, eight months after being discontinued due to rising importation costs.
The much-loved chocolate box included bite-sized fan favourites: Mars Bars, Snickers, Maltesers, Milky Way, Bounty and more.
On Thursday, Mars Wrigley confirmed it has brought back the popular box, with fans delighted by the news.
'YES! SOOOOO HAPPY, I'M GOING TO CRY! I needed this,' one fan said.
'OMG finally,' another shared.
'Exciting news! It's great to see celebrations making a comeback,' one revealed.
'About time,' another added.
The chocolate box has made its way back onto Australia shores after months of overwhelming demand from customers.
'The consumer response demanding the return of Celebrations last year was incredible, so we are thrilled to bring Celebrations back to supermarket shelves around the country,' Ben Hill, Mars Wrigley Marketing Director, said.
'For decades, Celebrations has featured prominently at family gatherings, events and of course, celebrations of all kinds. We can't wait for everyone to enjoy them again and for hopefully many years to come.'
The chocolates will roll out to major retailers from mid-July for $16.
Food content creator Russell Stuart, known as Russ Eats on social media, also shared the 'surprising' news about the return of Celebrations.
'I'm going to break the good news, Celebrations are returning,' he said.
After taste testing the new chocolate box, Russ confirmed 'they taste the same' as the original.
His video has been viewed more than 75,000 times - with many saying they were excited about the news.
'I work at Coles and I can't wait to see these on the shelves. I might even buy a box to share with everyone on Christmas day,' one said.
'Perfect,' another revealed.
'I offer myself as tribute to anyone who needs a recipient for unwanted Bounty bars. God tier chocolate that gets way too much hate,' one suggested.
Back in November, the chocolates were removed from shelves due to rising costs.
'Our CELEBRATIONS products were imported from Europe,' a Mars-Wrigley spokesperson told FEMAIL at the time.
'And like many Australian businesses importing products from overseas, we are experiencing rising cost-pressures and supply challenges.'

During the quarter, the streaming platform also saw hits like the season finale of medical drama series "The Pitt". The company's streaming unit posted an adjusted core profit of $293 million, compared with a loss of $107 million a year ago. Advertising revenue in the segment grew 17.5%, primarily driven by an increase in ad-lite subscribers. The company posted a quarterly profit of 63 cents per share, compared with expectations for a loss of 21 cents.

AFL team's Instagram post about an NRL team was meant to be a light-hearted joke - but it has backfired BADLY
The Gold Coast Suns took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon to post a light-hearted joke about their NRL neighbours, the Gold Coast Titans, but the trolling appears to have backfired big time on the AFL club. Controversy exploded this week in the NRL in the wake of the 'trainer-gate' saga, after the Titans suffered a last-gasp 26-30 defeat by Penrith last Saturday. Nathan Cleary booted a penalty in the 78th minute to send the match to a golden-point winner, with Panthers five-eighth Blaize Talagi bundling his way over the try line to seal the nail-biting win and keep Penrith's eight-match winning streak rolling. But the match was overshadowed by a bizarre incident as Titans half Jayden Campble appeared to miss a shot at goal, which could have won the home side the match. It came as Panthers trainer Corey Bocking appeared to run directly across the field and in his eye line. The Panthers have been handed a prospective $50,000 fine and Bocking has been handed a prospective suspension over the incident. The Suns, meanwhile, took to Instagram to poke a barb at Des Hasler's struggling side by publishing images of Suns' star Ben Long and Titans' prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard. 'What's the difference between these two Gold Coast players?' the first slide on the Instagram post read. On the second slide, the club posted a picture of Long again, celebrating the Suns' 84-point gazumping of the Tigers at the weekend. The bizarre and rather impromptu post was slammed by many in the comments, including the Titans themselves, who didn't find the barb funny. The Titans posted a 'raised eyebrow' emoji, appearing both unamused and perplexed at why the Suns came after them following the match. Others echoed the sentiment. Meanwhile, Panthers boss Ivan Cleary revealed on Wednesday that the coach in the middle of the 'trainer-gate' saga has been 'struggling' since the incident took place, insisting that it was an 'honest mistake'. 'I think the punishment is pretty heavy,' the four-time premiership-winning coach explained. On Bocking, he added: 'I think his suspension is the biggest of anyone in the NRL this year.
