Now, the Mario Gallery in Goa is breathing new life into the legacy of Mario Miranda, the famed Goan cartoonist whose sketches, caricatures, and portraits have delighted generations. Using the power of artificial intelligence, the Mario Gallery has crafted a unique experience with the help of the existing vast archival treasure trove of 13,000 original Mario Miranda drawings. The gallery's curators have meticulously trained an AI model to emulate the master's signature style. Gerard da Cunha, curator of the Mario Gallery, said that it took three months to master the art. The tech will be launched on Aug 23 at 4pm at the gallery in Torda. 'Anyone can come and have a Mario sketch of themselves generated,' he told TOI .
