Hurry Up Tomorrow — a psychological thriller starring 'The Weeknd,' aka Abel Tesfaye, and Jenna Ortega — is reportedly coming to digital streaming this week.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is part of a three-pronged project from The Weeknd that also includes the release of a new album and concert tour. Hurry Up Tomorrow was released in theaters on May 16 in conjunction with the start of the artist's concert tour.
The official summary for Hurry Up Tomorrow reads, 'A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence.' The Weeknd stars as Abel, who is a fictionalized version of himself, while Ortega plays the stranger, Anima, and Barry Keoghan plays Abel's manager, Lee.
The Weeknd co-wrote the screenplay with Reza Fahim and director Trey Edward Shults. Per a report by streaming tracker When to Stream, Hurry Up Tomorrow will be released on Friday, June 6, on digital streaming via premium video on demand.
While When to Stream is typically accurate with its PVOD reports, it noted that the distributor of Hurry Up Tomorrow, Lionsgate, has not announced or confirmed the release and it is subject to change.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is currently available for pre-order on Prime Video for $24.99, which is also the film's digital purchase price. Since digital rentals are generally $5 less than purchase prices, viewers can expect to rent Hurry Up Tomorrow for $19.99 for 48 hours.
In addition to Prime Video, Hurry Up Tomorrow will be available on a variety of digital platforms including Apple TV, Fandango at Home and YouTube.
While Hurry Up Tomorrow star Jenna Ortega admitted in a February interview with Entertainment Weekly that she initially didn't feel right for the role of Anima, she came to realize 'through conversation and built trust with Trey and Abel, it felt like a team and vision I wanted to work with."
The Wednesday star described for EW that Hurry Up Tomorrow is an "experimental telling of what it means to be an artist who is changing, evolving, managing their past while trying not to fear the unknown. What a mental block can do to one's sense of self."
Speaking specifically about her character in Hurry Up Tomorrow, Ortega told EW, 'It was my understanding while shooting that my character, Anima, is a version of Abel. A side of him that the persona the Weeknd doesn't show as much … There were many iterations of Ani as the new script drafts came in, but I just loved that she consistently took no s--- and felt everything intensely."
Rated R, Hurry Up Tomorrow, starring The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, is expected to arrive on PVOD on Friday.

Epic is bringing AI Darth Vader's tech to Fortnite creators
Epic Games is going to allow Fortnite creators to make AI-powered NPCs that work similar to the recently-launched AI Darth Vader. The company showed off the tech at its State of Unreal show on Tuesday. Using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), creators can make characters with personalities that they can voice chat with. Creators will be able to set the type of voice, their delivery, and the AI NPC's characteristics when the feature is available later this year. In a live demo shown onstage at the event, two Epic staffers showed a conversation with an AI character, 'Mr. Buttons,' whose sole purpose was to try and get the player to press a big red button in the room. For example, one Epic staffer asked a question about the screens in the room saying not to press the button, and the AI wanted the player to push the rules and press the button. In May, Epic added a Darth Vader NPC to Fortnite that could speak to players using an AI-powered version of James Earl Jones' voice. Jones' estate approved of the use of his voice. However, Epic had to issue a hotfix after players got the AI Darth Vader to swear. The AI NPCs aren't the only AI-focused news for Fortnite creators. Epic is also beta testing the Epic Developer Assistant, an AI chatbot that can help UEFN creators write code in UEFN's Verse programming language. The beta test is live today. Epic also announced that new franchises will be available for UEFN creators to make experiences with. Squid Game assets will be available starting June 27th — the same day as the premiere of the show's third and final season — and creators will be able to publish Squid Game experiences later this summer. Avatar: The Last Airbender, which appeared in Fortnite last year, will be available for creators to build with in 2026. Star Wars assets will be available at some point in the future. And on June 17th, creators will also be able to build LEGO experiences brick by brick, which should allow for more customizable LEGO experiences.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff's last call to daughter came shortly before her death

Details on Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff's sudden death have been revealed. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's report obtained by Fox News Digital, Bach-Hasselhoff died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 5. The report also stated that the benzodiazepines clonazepam and 7-aminoclonazepam were in her system at the time of her death. According to the Mayo Clinic, clonazepam and 7-aminoclonazepam can be used to treat panic disorders. Bach-Hasselhoff's final words were revealed in the medical examiner's report. At approximately 7:45 am on March 5, Bach-Hasselhoff called her daughter and said that she "loved her very much." After the call, her daughter called and texted her throughout the day and "never" received a response, the report stated. Bach-Hasselhoff's daughter went to her mother's house to perform a wellness check and found her "unresponsive" on her bed. The report alleges that Bach-Hasselhoff "mentioned suicide last year, but there were never any attempts" and that she was "depressed." The report did not name Bach-Hasselhoff's daughter. Pamela and her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, met on the set of "Knight Rider" and married in 1989. They welcomed their two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, in 1990 and 1992 and divorced in 2006. "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff," David shared on social media at the time of Pamela's death. "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time." Pamela and David appeared alongside each other in "Baywatch" for 10 seasons. She also landed roles in "The Young and the Restless," "The Fall Guy" and "Sirens." Pamela celebrated her family in the last post she shared on Instagram. "As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London," the actress wrote on New Year's Eve. "Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing. My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love. May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold." "Here's to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!" After a 16-year marriage, David filed for divorce from Pamela, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in 2006, and the court awarded joint custody of their daughters.
