Forestella's Epic Return - Not Your Average K-pop Comeback
If you thought K-pop was all about flashy idols and high-pitched bops, Forestella is here to flip the script. The crossover vocal group - Bae Doohoon, Kang Hyungho, Cho Mingyu, and Ko Woorim - just made a jaw-dropping return on KBS2's Immortal Songs, and trust me, it's the kind of comeback that'll make you wish you had front-row tickets.
After almost two years, Forestella performed as a full group again, and their stage was nothing short of legendary. For the 2025 King of Kings special, they picked Lady Gaga's "Abracadabra" and turned it into a magical, cinematic moment. Imagine the drama of a Bollywood dance-off, but with four powerhouse vocalists and world-class choreography.
The Stage That Broke the Internet - Lady Gaga, Leather Coats, and Next-Level Choreo
Forestella didn't just sing - they owned the stage.
Styled in burgundy leather coats (seriously, someone call Manish Malhotra for a collab), they teamed up with 1MILLION Dance Studio and the iconic Lia Kim for choreography that looked straight out of a Lady Gaga music video.
Their harmonies hit like a monsoon after a Delhi summer, and the dancers moved so perfectly in sync with the group's gestures, it felt like watching a wizard casting spells. The energy? Pure goosebumps.
If you've ever seen a K-pop group and thought, "Why can't we have this at our college fest?" - this is that level, but with even more drama.
What's Next - New Songs, Solo Concerts, and a Tour That's Making Us Jealous
Forestella isn't stopping with just one epic stage. During a backstage chat with MC Shin Dongyeop, they spilled that a new song is dropping soon, and they're about to kick off a solo concert tour. The Seoul show is set for July 26-27 at Jangchung Arena, followed by stops in Busan (BEXCO) and Daegu (EXCO). For reference, ticket prices for these kinds of concerts can go from ₹5,000 up to ₹15,000 or more - which, let's be honest, is less than what you'd pay for a BTS show, but the vibe is just as intense.

BTS' RM and Jungkook admit Kim Taehyung has changed: ‘We can't keep up anymore, he's stronger'

BTS is united and the members are back to their chaotic selves, jumping on Weverse Live and goofing off on Instagram with fans. While Jin and J-Hope are busy taking over sold-out shows in Tokyo and Berlin with their solo concerts, the rest, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and RM, went live four times back-to-back. Suga, however, didn't make an appearance. And it was during this run of lives when, alongside fans, even Jungkook and RM admitted that Taehyung's time in the military has clearly changed him. They hailed him as one of the strongest in the group now, physically even ahead of the golden maknae. His time serving in the special unit paid off. Also read: India to soon have its own K-pop bands backed by BTS' agency: Will HYBE's big bet challenge Bollywood's reign? On Tuesday, V started a live stream and added Jungkook and RM. The three called themselves the 'workout crew,' but made it very clear that out of the trio, it's the Winter Bear crooner, once known as the most sensitive, who's taken things to the next level. 'Shocking news! Kim Taehyung is stronger than me,' RM said on the livestream, with Jungkook adding, 'He's stronger than me too.' They both admitted they can't keep up with him anymore. While RM and Jungkook said they've been mostly following the bodyweight training, Taehyung, who served in the Special Forces, leaned towards the full weight training. 'He's bigger than us. We can't even finish the sets he does now,' RM added. Taehyung laughed it off, but explained it was all about routine. 'I forced myself into the habit,' he said. The second oldest served in South Korea's military as part of the Special Duty Team (SDT), which excels in counter-terrorism. Every new recruit and trainee has to undergo very tough training, which also restricts them from engaging much with the outside world, one of the reasons why V largely stayed low-key, while the rest of the members made time-to-time appearances on social media. Also read: BTS' Jimin said he felt 'suffocated' listening to RM's track, knew something was wrong: 'I wonder what kind of jerks he's met' During the conversation, the Indigo hitmaker said, 'Taehyung was lifting weights in the Special Forces. He's way ahead,' and added, 'I go every day at 9:30 now, but what Taehyung is doing is insane. I'd lose to him in a fight.' To which the Celine ambassador said, 'You guys just started again. I've been consistent.' While V joked that both RM and Jungkook are making a fuss out of it and it's not true, fans are convinced, this new version of Taehyung is no joke. He's been through one of the toughest military units. He trained hard, rose to the rank of Sergeant, and even became an ace marksman. What's even more interesting is that the Singularity crooner earned the Special Warrior badge, an elite honour given to soldiers who are overachievers in all three areas: performance, strength, and discipline. As part of this recognition, Taehyung will now be listed in the unit's Hall of Fame for a year. On the work front, all BTS members have made it to the United States, where they're currently working on a song together. J-Hope and Jin, who are headlining their individual shows, are scheduled to join the others in Los Angeles. Earlier this month, the septet confirmed their comeback, addressing fans through a half-hour Weverse live. RM, the leader of the group, said they'll be rolling out their new album next spring, following which, chances of a world tour are on the horizon. The details of the same are currently under wraps.

Crowning Glory: Fashion entrepreneur becomes first Indian to win global title

When fashion entrepreneur Sharada Narayanan stood on stage with her counterparts from across the world, waiting with sheer anticipation and racing hearts for the announcement of Mrs Classique Globe Choice of the People, she took a moment to process that her name had been called out. 'I was in a complete shock. I don't think I reacted the way everybody usually does – the awe, the crying or hands thrown up in the air,' she recalls. While winning the title with 50 other contestants competing for it might have been a surprise for Narayanan, her mentor, Veena Jain, the winner of Mrs India Globe Classique 2017, had complete confidence. 'When we started from Bengaluru, I had a feeling that we were going to make it this year. It may have been a surprise for Sharada, but for me, I was very confident that she was going to come out with the title – her confidence and elegance made me believe so. I'm especially proud because this is the first time an Indian delegate has won such an honour,' says Jain. Achieving the highly coveted Swarovski crystal-studded crown was no easy feat with Narayanan's schedule being jam-packed with rehearsals and galas from the moment she arrived at Palm Springs on June 16 to the moment she was crowned on June 21. 'Once we went there, it was a complete grind – it's like a boot camp. We get up early in the morning and go on late into the night on some days. You go through one regiment after the other, but there were a lot of fun times in between practice and exercise too, when we got to bond with women from different countries and cultures,' says Narayanan, explaining the preparations that went into the three final rounds – national costume, swimsuit, and evening gown – as well as the Bollywood-themed welcome party, charity galas, and preliminary rounds that preceded them.

9 bizarre Himesh Reshammiya songs that are too addictive: Tandoori Nights to Ice Cream and more

Himesh Reshammiya has been ruling the music industry. Over the years, Himesh garnered immense recognition for his songs and unique singing style. He is not only a composer, singer, and actor but also a cult figure in the Bollywood industry. Known for his nasal singing style, Himesh's songs became a sensation. He has carved a niche that's hard to replicate. He has made some classic songs but a few with bizarre lyrics, melody and music that became addictive. These songs make you laugh first, but in the next moment, you find yourself humming to the tune. Here are the 9 most bizarre yet unreasonably catchy Himesh Reshammiya songs. 1- Tandoori Nights Tandoori Nights is a song from a film titled Karzzzz, that released in 2008. Himesh not only sang songs in this movie but also acted alongside Urmila Matondkar. While chorus ta-ta-ta.... tandoori nights might make you scream 'what?' in shock, it's a fact that it won't stop playing in your head. Nightlife compared to appetisers, and sung so interestingly that you can't stop singing it once you hear it. 2- Ice Cream Ice Cream from The Xpose movie, that released in 2014, is hilarious, catchy, and with an absurd logic. The line from the song 'Ice cream khaungi, Kashmir jaungi' promises to stay with you forever once you listen it. 3- Tandoori Days While Tandoori Nights wasn't enough, the singer recently launched Tandoori Days. ' days, aanan-faanan' the lyrics are dangerous to a level that you might end up never hearing the song again. 4- Hookstep Hookah Bar 'Tera pyaar pyaar pyaar, hookah bar' - you are highly mistaken if you think that it's Hookah Bar song. Hookstep Hookah Bar was a recent song by Himesh. The peppy beats have done justice to this song by Himesh; however, its absurd lyrics are hard to ignore. 5- Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri Mujhko Yaad Sataye Teri, a song from the cult movie Phir Hera Pheri that released in 2006, is among those rare gems that are hard to forget. Kitne armaaan maan maan maan... in Himesh's voice is something that you can't get over. It's been more than a decade since the song's release, but whenever it plays, one can't help but hum this cringeworthy track. 6- Jhalak Dikhla Ja Jhalak Dikhla Ja is from the Aksar movie, which was released in 2006. While this song is very famous and loved immensely, the pattern of repeating the chorus continues in this song as well. 'Ek baar aaja aaja aaja aaja' - Himesh managed to turn repetition into a sonic weapon and won hearts. 7- Chalao Na Naino Se Chalao Na Naino Se from Bol Bachchan combines a playful melody with his trademark vocal style, creating a fun and memorable track that has become a popular choice for Bollywood dance numbers. 8- Tera Suroor Tera Suroor from Aap Kaa Suroor is a song that is a prime example of his style. The high-pitched vocals, the simple yet repetitive melody, and the overall atmosphere of the song are all hallmarks of his work. While some find it annoying, others find it incredibly catchy and addictive. 9- I Love You Sayyoni I Love You Sayyoni from the Kajaare movie that was released in 2000, is as confusing yet groovy. The meaning of the word Sayyoni still remains a secret, but the chorus sticks like gum in your mind.
