Frankie Bridge's waterproof games were a ‘game changer' for taking on holiday with kids

Frankie Bridge has found the perfect way to keep your kids entertained on holiday both in and out of the pool with her waterproof games that are under £20
As any parent who travels with their kids knows, keeping them entertained isn't always as straightforward as a swimming pool and an ice cream. If your little ones are getting restless on the beach or round the dinner table, a quick family game is a great way to keep them engaged.
Whilst usually the idea of bringing a card game around the water or within spilling distance of food and drinks would be a bad idea, Frankie Bridge has found the perfect solution to this parenting conundrum. She shared the waterproof games she took on holiday on Instagram, writing: 'Waterproof Dobble and Uno. A game-changer. Literally' before adding them into her 'Things I used on repeat' Amazon list.
The two waterproof games that Frankie recommended are both affordable and take up minimal space in both suitcases and beach bags. You can currently pick up the waterproof Uno for £19.93, whilst the waterproof Dobble is now on sale down from £13.99 to £11.20.
The upgraded version of the family favourites both come with a completely waterproof protective covering that means they're protected from spills, food, sand, suncream and anything else your holiday might throw at them. The Uno cards also come with a handy clip that keeps the cards together and can be attached to your bag to make sure none get lost on your travels.
The waterproof Uno cards also feature a new design, with special graphic symbols on each card. These symbols help you identify the colours so even those with any form of colour blindness can easily identify which card they're playing.
Meanwhile the waterproof Dobble also features fully waterproof cards which float on water so you can use them in and out of the pool. They even come with their own lightweight waterproof carry bag, making sure you can keep them all safely together.
If you want a more old-school way of amusing the kids, this 6-in-1 Games Set is now on sale at Marks & Spencer, down from £15 to £11.25. Coming in a handy storage bag, you'll find a shuttlecock, tennis ball and two rackets, a frisbee, a mini football, a skipping rope and the rackets and ball needed for scoop toss.
Meanwhile at The Works, the PlayWorks Kids' Travel Activity Pack is only £5 and contains colouring books, sticker sheets, activity books, coloured pencils, a mini maze, a fidget toy, a magnetic scribble and a pairs snap game. Perfect for entertaining them on a long flight or between activities, it's compact and easy to fit in your bag.
But there's no denying that Frankie's waterproof games are a genius buy, and will see you and the kids well through holidays, trips to the beach and even camping adventures. Pick up the waterproof Uno and waterproof Dobble at Amazon now.

Frankie Bridge posts cryptic TikTok about no longer 'being a people pleaser' amid 'feud' with Myleene Klass

Frankie Bridge posted a cryptic TikTok this week about no longer 'being a people pleaser' amid her reported 'secret feud' with Myleene Klass. Myleene is said to be at loggerheads with Frankie and her The Saturdays bandmate Rochelle Humes - both former clients of her bodyguard ex-husband. According to new claims, ITV have been forced to step in to help smooth things in the decade-long feud, which is just now coming to light, as they both often appear on Loose Women. And this week while enjoying a sunny holiday Frankie took to TikTok as she mimed along to Sabrina Carpenter's hit track Manchild. Over the video, the caption read: 'Taking 36 years to realise being a people pleaser doesn't please anyone. 'Fad diets are a waste of time. Turns out it's all about balance?! Who knew?! 'Only you can make yourself happy. You can do the hard thing! You've got this,' followed by a red love heart emoji. She penned in the caption: 'Taking 36 years to learn and still doing them anyway…'. It comes after last week the moment Myleene and Frankie were caught in an awkward exchange on a Loose Women episode last year came back to light as a new report claimed the pair are embroiled in a 'secret feud'. Myleene, Frankie and Rochelle all used to hang out together, with the former two attending Rochelle's hen do in 2012. Yet the following year, Myleene is said to have believed she was being 'blanked' by Frankie and confronted her at the 2013 Glamour Women of the Year awards - which is when the pair requested not to work together. However, due to a staff shortage around Christmas last year, Myleene and Frankie ended up on the same Loose Women panel - resulting in an 'awkward' episode with 'minimal interaction'. They were joined by panelists Kaye Adams and Linda Robson, who sat between them, the camera flashed to Myleene as Frankie discussed her dislike for the drawn out days between Christmas and New Year. Myleene flashed a vacant smile, as Frankie explained that she 'feels a bit lost' during the period between the two festive holidays. Meanwhile Myleene's feud with Rochelle is said to have been sparked after The Saturdays star recently shared a picture of herself on holiday in Ibiza with husband Marvin and Myleene's ex-husband Graham Quinn. It comes after last week the moment Myleene and Frankie were caught in an awkward exchange on a Loose Women episode last year came back to light Graham used to work as JLS' tour manager and last week Myleene accused him of cheating on her with an unknown star. According to insiders close to the situation, Rochelle sharing the photo on Instagram the same week she made the revelation was 'game over' for Myleene. It's the latest twist as it's been reported that there has been an underlying conflict between Myleene, Rochelle and Frankie, who all work at ITV. This week, Frankie sparked frenzied speculation by posting a cryptic video, saying somebody was 'dead to me', with fans wondering if she was talking about Rochelle. It was claimed they snubbed each other when attending Wimbledon last month. A source told The Sun: 'They don't seem to be getting on and that's making things more complicated for bookers who are keen to keep everyone happy. 'They've been competing since they were 12 when they joined S Club Juniors and now it appears they're competing for top jobs on ITV. While Rochelle rose in the ranks to present This Morning, her appearances have become few and far between since other famous faces have been brought in. 'Meanwhile Frankie has been a regular panellist on Loose Women since 2020 and has the ear of ITV producers who she's become close friends with. Now ITV bosses do everything they can to avoid awkward run-ins. If Rochelle is on This Morning and has to pass over to Frankie on Loose Women, it's kept as brief as possible.' The former bandmates became friends in childhood, both finding fame in S Club Juniors before joining Rochelle Humes, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White in The Saturdays. Yet in recent months, their relationship is said to have soured, with the pair reportedly snubbing each other when they attended Wimbledon last month. The pair were both pictured enjoying the hospitality at the tennis tournament but it is said they kept their interactions to a minimum. An onlooker claimed: 'It was clear the women were keeping their distance. They sat on opposite sides of the suite and kept to themselves.' They added to The Sun: 'While Frankie posed for pictures with S Club's Rachel Stevens, Rochelle took selfies with her husband Marvin and his I'm A Celebrity campmate Sam Thompson. 'Even though they were pleasant to each other when they did brush shoulders, they didn't spend any extra time together than they had to, in between being amicable while passing each other en route to watch the tennis.' Frankie's representatives have told Daily Mail that there is 'absolutely no feud' between the pair, while those close to Rochelle insist there is 'no feud'. Myleene's representative declined to comment on the situation. Yet that didn't stop Frankie posting a cryptic social media post on Monday that was captioned: 'You're so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I've just realised you're actually dead to me.' The TikTok video showed Frankie sipping on a glass of wine and was set to the music of Avril Lavigne's What The Hell. Frankie then added below: 'Takes me a while, but once you're dead you're dead.' She didn't specify who or what incident she was talking about in the post. While Frankie and Rochelle found fame as singers they have since both turned their hand to the world of TV - with Frankie a regular panelist on Loose Women, while Rochelle is a stand-in presenter for This Morning. As for Myleene, she hit headlines last week when she publicly addressed ex-husband Graham's cheating scandal. Graham, 47, started dating Myleene in 2001, having met when he worked as security guard for her pop group Hear'Say. The couple went on to welcome daughters Ava, 17, and Hero, 14, and tied the knot in 2011 after a decade together - only to separate six months later. Speaking on Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, the mother-of-two said: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.' Turning her thoughts towards the other woman, Myleene said: 'I've made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. 'My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly and their life, they've managed to continue building a family brand on it. I have to take some accountability. 'Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions and it's never been a case of laying out my stall now. 'It's got to be as and when. But here's the funny thing - school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.' Speculation of a feud then went into overdrive when Frankie shared a TikTok video about holding a grudge - with fans speculating that she was referring to Rochelle because it followed reports that they had snubbed one another at Wimbledon last month According to the TV presenter, the pair tried to claim that it wasn't what it looked like and she continued: 'I'm in my house, it's my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think'. But I'm like, 'It is what I think'. 'It's the first thing they both said. I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said: 'He doesn't get it from me'. 'I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say,' she told the love expert. Graham tried to blame the affair on being drunk. Myleene admitted the whole ordeal was a 'pretty big red flag' but still went through with their wedding in October 2011.

Amazon's 'massive and brilliant' garden pool perfect for adults too for less than £40

The quest for the perfect summer deal is in full swing, with customers snapping up a self-erecting paddling pool dubbed as "a heatwave saviour" from the sweltering heat this summer's weather keeps delivering. The Intex Easy Set Up 10 Foot Pool is a tempting way to keep cool in the garden and is a popular choice with customers, able to boast Amazon's number one best seller in the inflatable pools category and over 4,600 five-star reviews. This 10ft wide and 30 inches deep round pool is ideal for both children and adults, providing endless entertainment throughout the balmy months. Its three-layer reinforced material design ensures it's puncture-resistant and sturdy, ready for a season of enjoyment. The above-ground pool features a 'fill and rise' system, expanding as water is added after inflating the top ring. With its easy assembly, those suffering in the heat at home could be cooling off by tomorrow if they utilise the next-day delivery options available to Amazon Prime members. Inflating a paddling pool can often seem like a daunting task, but Amazon assures that it only takes around five minutes to inflate the ring, and filling the pool with water can be completed in 40 minutes. In addition to the pool itself, purchasers will receive a filter pump, protective cover, and even a repair patch kit for any rips. Although designed for children aged six and above, the pool is also easy to drain and pack away when the summer sun fades. One delighted buyer commented: "This is a fantastic pool, massive and brilliant. Price wise I think this is really good value compared to paddling pools, because it is so much better and I feel sure it will be reusable for years." Another happy purchaser noted: "It's an instant fun pool. I know it sounds simple, but it was fantastic on a hot day, and my teenagers spent hours sitting in it, sipping drinks and chatting." Alternatives to the Intex Easy Set Up 10 Foot Pool include the Funsicle 9ft Octagonal Family Paddling Pool priced £55.00 from Argos, one of the only product in stock from this retailer, and the Bestway Family Paddling Pool in the largest size of 305cm x 183cm from Amazon priced £44.39 after a 15% discount. For those keen to dive in without the wait for delivery, Argos stocks the Funsicle Round Frame 10ft Pool at £150. Though slightly more expensive, this pool features a robust snap-in frame, making it perfect as a semi-permanent garden fixture that can hold up to five people. Those blessed with more expansive outdoor areas will find the Large Bestway Framed Pool represents excellent value, slashed from £159 to merely £64.99. It comes in three different sizes, allowing you to select the perfect fit for your space. Another contented customer expressed their approval of the product, stating: "We got tired of having to replace the children's garden pool every few years because of both punctures and unattractive discolouration of the plastic. These Intex pools seemed of much stronger, durable design." However, not every review was positive, with one purchaser awarding just two stars and expressing their concerns: "The top is constantly deflating, within 2 weeks the top is deformed and sometimes the top is flipped over and the water spills, so I have to rush to lift it up." Despite this, the Intex Pool l has generally received favourable responses. One delighted customer awarded it five stars, commenting: "I bought this as a replacement for our family holiday to Spain. If you're drunk enough, and the sun is hot enough, it's like being on holiday. As pools go, this one is nothing short of fantastic. Get one."
