‘The White Lotus' Stars Walton Goggins And Aimee Lou Wood Reveal The Truth Behind Instagram ‘Feud'
Rick and Chelsea, the tragic lovers from the third season of HBO's The White Lotus, were fan favorites during the show's run earlier this year. The actors who played them also became the center of much gossip after the season came to a close.
This was partly due to comments made by Jason Isaac, who played troubled investment banker Timothy Ratliff, in the third season. The cast lived on-set in Thailand for months during the shoot, and Isaac said that tensions could sometimes run high, noting that there were 'fewer deaths but just as much drama' behind the scenes.
Rumors of a split between Walton Goggins, who played Rick, and Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea, reached fever pitch when fans noticed that Goggins had unfollowed his co-star on Instagram. Fandom is always thirsty for this kind of drama, but perhaps especially so for a series like The White Lotus, which is all about scandal, betrayal and the woes of the rich and famous. There was blood in the water, and the sharks came circling.
Goggins also didn't join his fellow cast members at the finale event, watching it alone instead, though he was in New York for a late-night appearance at the time.
I never commented on these rumors. Tawdry gossip has never been something I feel the need or desire to comment on. Gossip journalism is certainly big business, but it's not my cup of tea. I am happy, however, to report on the outcome. In a lengthy interview with the two co-stars over at Variety, they clear the air and put the rumors to bed once and for all. After a discussion of the infamous SNL sketch that mocked Wood's appearance, and Goggins' regret at posting about it on social media, they clear the air.

He also addressed the NYT interview in which he refused to answer multiple questions about the supposed feud, saying he wouldn't answer them without Wood present.
When Wood is asked about the Instagram unfollowing she replies:
Goggins makes it clear that saying farewell to co-stars is just part of his process. When he left the show Justified "I went up to Tim [Olyphant], and I hugged him and I said, 'I love you, and I hope I see you in rooms for the rest of my life. I didn't talk to him for almost two years. I've done that with every single thing that I've done.'
He continues:
It's all part of his 'catharsis' according to Goggins. He would have done the same thing if he'd been following Olyphant or his The Shield co-star Michael Chiklis on Instagram at the time.
Still, during the interview he gets up, grabs his phone and follows Wood on Instagram. 'It's all so ridiculou. It's just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for *#$&ing ever.'

Braissers Rice Bowl: Sub-$10 customisable meat bowls by ex-fine dining chef
I first heard of Braissers Rice Bowl in Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market & Food Centre through its established rival, Meat & Rice. A colleague of mine was raving about the latter's 'dreamy', 'melt-in-your-mouth' braised meats — which, of course, made me curious about how this newer contender would stack up. Braissers Rice Bowl's owner, Wei Jie, is a professionally trained chef who has clocked time in fine dining eateries including Iru Den, Birds of a Feather, Bam! and Le Bistrot du Sommelier. He even cut his hawker teeth at Meat & Rice first, where he helped develop their braised pork rice recipe alongside his friend's father. Now, here's where Braissers takes a different path from Meat & Rice: instead of sticking to a fixed bowl format, Wei Jie lets diners call the shots. At his stall, every bowl starts with a base of short-grain rice, a sous vide egg, tender meat, and salted vegetables, before you customise it with your choice of protein and sides. Not to stir anything up but I just had to find out: could Braissers hold its own against the OG? And more importantly, would its braised meats live up to the hype I've been dying to taste? What I tried at Braissers Rice Bowl I kicked my day off with one of the stall's bestsellers, the Braised Pork Jowl Rice Bowl (S$5.80), and WOW, this bowl looked so good, I could feel my drool threatening to spill over as I was snapping photos. Instead of politely sampling each component one by one, I dove straight in to mix everything together so the rice, meat, and shiitake mushrooms were lightly coated in that glorious, creamy sous vide egg. The pork jowl itself was indeed melt-in-your-mouth tender (who else cheered)! It struck that magical balance of meat and fat that's hard to pull off, and coming from someone who usually picks every scrap of fat off her meat, the fact that I was wolfing this down without hesitation says a lot. The braising sauce was deep, rich, and luxuriously savoury, clinging to each bite with the kind of slow-cooked intensity that can only come from hours on the stove. The salted vegetables were a clever counterpoint, cutting through the richness with a bright, tangy lift in between mouthfuls, while the add-on thick-cut shiitake Mushrooms (S$1) brought an earthy heft that soaked up every last drop of that braising sauce. They were hearty without being overpowering — just enough chew to break up the softness of the pork and egg. In one line, I'd describe this dish as lu rou fan on steroids. Amped up with premium cuts, a luscious sauce, and add-ons that take it beyond your average braised rice bowl. I just wish they hadn't run out of fried wanton skin that day; still a little bummed I missed that extra crunch. Bold x Braised: Tender braised pork belly rice bowls with unique mentaiko version For a more ang moh take on it (as per the owner's words), I went for the Wagyu Beef Bowl (S$9.90) next. Presentation-wise, this one was absolutely gorgeous — the kind of plating that made me pause mid-reach for my chopsticks. Before me lay a neat bed of rice crowned with slices of wagyu, flanked by paper-thin sheets of carrot, radish, and (I think?) pea sprouts. It's this kind of attention to detail that instantly betrays Wei Jie's fine dining past. The wagyu slices sat obediently over the rice, gleaming under the light, and for a moment I genuinely couldn't bring myself to break the picture-perfect arrangement. I did, eventually, and was rewarded with beef so tender it made me wonder how many synonyms for 'tender' I could get away with in one review. Yes, it leaned more towards well-done than medium, which made the softness all the more impressive, especially at a $9.90 price point. Unreal, really. And then came the twist. The beef itself was clean-tasting, free from any gamey notes. But somehow, the rice carried a gamey flavour that caught me off guard. It wasn't gamey in a rice-gone-bad way; it just tasted very much like BEEF. The seasoning was savoury with a hint of sweetness, but that underlying taste became all I could focus on after a few bites. I eventually found myself gravitating back to the pork jowl, leaving the rice in the bowl looking pretty but mostly untouched. Final thoughts Braissers Rice Bowl truly delivers a level of finesse that you rarely find at hawker stalls, thanks to Wei Jie's fine dining roots. The Pork Jowl Bowl stole the show for me — rich, melt-in-your-mouth meat, hearty mushrooms, and a balance of flavours that's perfect for those who love strong flavours. The Wagyu Beef Bowl was undeniably beautiful and tender, though the rice had a gamey note that I'm personally sensitive to, which could be something others might not notice or mind at all. Still, for under $10 a bowl, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and generous portions. You best believe I'll be back for the chicken and duck next! Gal Gadot Says She Left ‘Entourage' Set Because Someone Behaved Inappropriately, ‘Hated' the Experience
The actress appeared in one episode of the HBO series in 2009 Gal Gadot appeared on one episode of 'Entourage' during the show's first season — and she doesn't look back on the experience fondly. While speaking to a group of amateur reporters this week, Gadot said she 'hated' being on the show. 'What I hated and didn't enjoy at all was being on 'Entourage,' an American series,' she explained. 'Someone there behaved inappropriately, it got to the point where I left the set and stopped working with them.' Gadot was later asked about her own acting skills, which she described as 'OK.' As she put it, 'If you cast me, you cast me well. My greatest strength is that I'm not afraid to work and I don't let things stop me.' Though her role in the series was short-lived, director Doug Ellin told Entertainment Weekly in 2018 that it was apparent Gadot would have a successful career. 'I remember when Gal came in, it was a small little role but everyone said, 'This girl is gonna be something big,' so it is cool to see,' he said. Elsewhere in the conversation, Gadot admitted navigating the controversies that surrounded the release of 'Snow White' this year was challenging. Her costar Rachel Zegler came under fire in 2024 after posting the words 'and always remember, free palestine' on X after thanking her fans for their support for the 'Snow White' trailer. Gadot served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from 2004-2009. Though both Gadot and Zegler put their best foot forward ahead of the film's release, the movie's box office performance was impacted. 'You can always explain and try to give people in the world a context about what's happening [in Israel] and what the reality is here, but in the end people decide for themselves,' Gadot said. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle fans are not too happy about Channing Tatum being cast in the English-language version of the anime film

As new anime movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle continues to rule over the Japanese box office, Channing Tatum's casting in the upcoming English-language version has left many Demon Slayer fans confused. The Deadpool & Wolverine star has been cast as Keizo in the English dubbed version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. However, many anime fans believe that the casting is not fair to other voice actors in the industry, and feel that Taum has only been cast because he is a big Hollywood name. "There are some [English-language voice actors] who are not happy that Channing Tatum was cast in the latest Demon Slayer movie... and the complaints are 100% valid," said one fan on Twitter (X). "Any VA would and should feel slighted when a big-name actor is cast in an anime role, especially in a movie as big as Infinity Castle." It seems like other fans feel the same, as one replied, "Love Channing Tatum... I just feel this is kinda a slap in the face to everyone else." Another added, "This might potentially be the start of US dubbing companies phasing out actual experienced anime dub actors for Hollywood talent. And that would be a very bad thing." However, other Demon Slayer heads feel that Tatum, who is a fan of the series, deserves a chance. After all, the star is only in a minor role. "But what if he does a completely fine and normal job at it?" pointed out one fan. It is important to note that big actors being cast in anime projects is no new thing, with Robert Pattinson starring in The Boy and the Heron, and Star Wars actor Mark Hamill appearing in the anime series Immortal Grand Prix, just to name two examples. Tatum joins the original English dub voice cast from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series, including Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado, Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado, Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira, Johnny Yong Bosch as Giyu Tomikoa and Erika Harlacher as Shinobu Kocho. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, the movie is the first of an upcoming trilogy based on the Infinity Castle arc from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga. The film follows demon slayer Tanjiro Kamado as he faces his biggest challenge yet when he is plunged into a demon's stronghold known as the Infinity Castle in a bid to save the head of the Corps. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle will hit US and UK cinemas on September 12, 2025.
