Arrive AI Forges International Partnership, Bringing Secure Delivery to India with Skye Air Mobility

Miami Herald24-06-2025
INDIANAPOLIS, IN AND GURUGRAM, INDIA / ACCESS Newswire / June 24, 2025 / Arrive AI (NASDAQ:ARAI) - a pioneering autonomous delivery network anchored by Arrive Points™ - today announced a new global customer: Skye Air Mobility , India's dominant and rapidly expanding hyperlocal delivery platform. This expected partnership marks a pivotal moment, scaling secure, automated delivery solutions across one of the world's most dynamic markets.
Skye Air currently offers 7-minute drone delivery to customers in Gurugram, part of NCR (National Capital Region) of Delhi and Bengaluru (Karnataka), making about 6,000 deliveries per day. The partnership entails co-developing mailboxes and installing across the country. Arrive AI shall begin from the initial 60 units being placed in Gurugram followed by other cities as per Skye Air's expansion plan. Both companies expect to have 500 Arrive Points across Skye Air's service areas in the future, serving a New Delhi population exceeding 33 million.
"The population density and scalability opportunity - along with huge demand for drone delivery from Indian consumers and governmental policies that encourage drone delivery - creates an unparalleled chance for us to showcase the transformative power of Arrive AI," said Arrive AI Founder and CEO Dan O'Toole. "This isn't just about delivery; it's about establishing a universally trusted custody layer for autonomous logistics and allows us to grow rapidly in a one-billion-plus population country that is already moving fast on autonomy."
Arrive AI's industry-first patents underscore its evolution from a "smart mailbox" to a comprehensive autonomous delivery network and platform company. Arrive Points are secure, app-accessible mini cross docks, and offer a significantly elevated level of security compared to current delivery points, establishing a crucial trusted custody layer for real-world networks and asynchronous access.
Ankit Kumar, Skye Air, Founder & CEO, highlighted the synergy by saying, "Skye Air is on the forefront of drone delivery technology having built to deliver at scale. The company is already delivering about 200,000 packages on a monthly basis, just in one city. We believe Infrastructure is the most critical piece to scale drone delivery across the country, this is the reason we keep on investing in developing infrastructure. With access of 60-plus residential and commercial complexes in Gurugram, we are poised to shape the future of autonomous deliveries in India."
"Our partnership with Arrive AI couldn't have come at a time better than this, when we are scaling up operations and expanding to newer cities such as Bengaluru," he continued. "Together with Arrive AI's state-of-the-art product, we are certain to dominate the infrastructure access points. It will make the entire process so much better. We can't wait to get these units in the field."
Kiran Paul, who focuses on international business development for Arrive AI, was instrumental in setting up the strategic partnership.
"We anticipate that once we are operating in India and demonstrating the advantages Arrive Points offer, other countries looking to a future of increasing demand for quick, secure, drone-based ecommerce solutions will see the advantage of building Arrive Points into their smart city infrastructure plans, " Paul said.
Arrive AI expects Arrive Points to be delivered to Skye Air within calendar year 2025.
Beyond technological alignment, both companies share a profound commitment to sustainable delivery. Each drone delivery via Skye Air reduces carbon emissions by 520 grams compared to traditional methods, translating to over 2.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide saved monthly. This partnership not only enhances drone capabilities for Skye Air's current fleet of more than 30 drones but also lays crucial groundwork for seamless future integration with ground robotic deliveries.

Restaurant Jackman & Co. opens, pays tribute to Glenview founder

There's a very good reason why Ballyhoo Hospitality decided to open its newest restaurant, Jackman & Co., in Glenview. 'Glenview chose us,' explained founder and CEO Ryan O'Donnell. 'They came to Ballyhoo and asked if we would do a restaurant in Glenview. Glenview is a great village and I do have lots of friends who are there.' O'Donnell added that he, his wife Anna, and their children live down the street in Wilmette. The chain already had restaurants nearby in Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, and Lake Forest. O'Donnell noted that he took into account Glenview's plans for redevelopment of the downtown area. 'We created a deal together that allowed us to put a business plan in place that made a lot of sense,' O'Donnell explained. 'They gave us grant money and they also secured a loan.' The Village Board reported the details of the agreement in an e-newsletter sent to residents in September 2023. It included the fact that the redevelopment agreement required the village to prepare the site for construction. It also provides a $1.75 million grant. In addition, the village and Ballyhoo have a loan agreement for $2.25 million to be paid back to the Village at 2% interest over the next 15 years, per a village spokesperson. There is also an intercreditor agreement that details how the village would assume responsibility to pay off Ballyhoo's portion of a second loan from a private bank. It further noted that a 'reverter clause' states that if Ballyhoo doesn't fulfill its obligations, ownership of the land and building would revert back to the village, per village information. O'Donnell noted that Jackman & Co. is fully owned by Ballyhoo Hospitality. The restaurant was named in honor of Edwin Stanton Jackman, a 'founding father of Glenview,' O'Donnell said. 'He was a steel magnate who delivered steel to the railroads back in the 1800s.' Jackman donated a bear fountain to Glenview that has become a beloved symbol of the village. It is also the mascot of the new restaurant named in Jackman's honor. It took a year for Ballyhoo to construct the new building on the space at 1749 Glenview Road. The 5,800-square-foot restaurant seats about 170 inside and 50 outside. O'Donnell reported that Jackman & Co. is a 'British-inspired gastropub that meets the Midwest.' Executive Chef Matt Lehto was not available for an interview. The menu includes British comfort food and Indian aromatics, with such menu items as red Thai curry prawns, battered fish and chips, and British beef roast with duck fat potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The cocktail list includes such playfully-named selections as 'The Queen Doesn't Need a Passport,' which combines vodka, blackberry, thyme, and lemon. London dry gin with italicus and dry vermouth are served in 'A Happy Marriage.' The bar features an extensive selection of whiskeys. Nonalcoholic selections include, 'If These Walls Could Talk,' a mocktail of strawberry, cardamom, lemon, and ginger. Ballyhoo Hospitality officially started in 2018 but its first restaurant, Gemini, was opened in 2009 in Lincoln Park. There are currently 15 Ballyhoo restaurants in Chicago and suburbs. O'Donnell said that he chooses the location and format of each Ballyhoo restaurant by instinct. 'I don't have a grand plan and I don't usually preplan what I want to put and where,' he said. 'I look for opportunities with different neighborhoods and communities that I like and that I spend time in. I like to be part of the communities that I know will support us.' Nykaa Revenue Surges, Profit Doubles in Second Quarter

FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent of Indian beauty products retailer Nykaa, posted a quarterly profit on Tuesday that more than doubled, benefiting from new brand tie-ups and steady demand for makeup and skincare. The company, which retails an array of brands such as Estée Lauder and actor Katrina Kaif's Kay Beauty both online and offline, said profit rose to 233.2 million rupees ($2.66 million) for the first quarter ended June 30, from 96.4 million rupees a year ago. Indians, especially the affluent, have not shied away from spending on skincare and cosmetics — a category that outperforms others even during a consumption slowdown — helping prop up the $28-billion beauty and personal care industry in India. Nykaa added brands such as luxury offering Chanel, Korean skincare label Aestura and sunscreen maker Supergoop to its product line-up, lifting revenue in its beauty business 24 percent to 19.75 billion rupees. The growth was driven by a focus on reaching more customers across online and offline stores and offering higher-end products, Nykaa said. That, coupled with a 15 percent rise in its fashion business, which sells apparel and accessories from brands such as Victoria's Secret and Titan's Mia, pushed overall revenue up 23 percent at 21.55 billion rupees.
