Realme GT 7 Dream Edition unboxing and hands-on

GSM Arena5 days ago

The newly global Realme GT 7 looks quite impressive, but its Dream Edition is the F1 fan's wet dream. Themed after the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team it certainly has one of the most intriguing back designs in recent years!
Clad in Aston Martin Racing Green and shipped in a very special box, you might be surprised to find that the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition isn't as expensive as you think. At €900 it's just €100 more than the regular phone, but the Dream Edition comes in a 16/512 GB trim. In India, the Dream Edition is an even better deal at INR 50,000.
You get the phone in a solid box (also in Aston Martin Racing Green), complete with a 120W charger, a USB cable, a special racing SIM tool, and a special booklet with information about Aston Martin's racing history and the GT 7's design.
You also get a nice Silver Wing phone case with a cutout for the Aston Martin logo on the phone's back panel.
The case is made of the same rubber as the regular phone's, but this one has a nicer striped texture on the back to help with grip.
With the box out of the way, let's take in the beautiful design of the Realme GT 7 Dream Edition. For one, it's been a while since we've seen a phone in this specific shade of green. Realme says the paint was perfected through five layers and hundreds of calibrations. It's a very pretty color and one that'll surely stand out.
Besides the Silver Wing on the back, there are flow lines on the back panel that resemble the shape of the Aston Martin F1 car's.
The Aston Martin makeover carries over to the software, where Realme's Android 15 comes in a special Aston Martin UI theme.
The phone even has an Aston Martin UI theme
The rest of the car, erm, phone, is the same as the Realme GT 7, which is no bad thing. The phone has a massive 7,000mAh battery with rapid 120W charging - zero to 100% takes 40 minutes (though we did it 36!). Under the hood is a Dimensity 9400e with 16 gigabytes of horsepower.
Upfront sits a lovely 6.78-inch 1264x2780px LTPO AMOLED display with up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel is kick-ass with lovely 10-bit visuals.
The finishing touch is a solid camera system with 50 MP wide-angle, 50 MP 2x zoom, and 8MP ultrawide shooters.

OnePlus 13s in for review

Today we have with us the OnePlus 13s. While we can't share all the details yet, we can show off the exterior and talk about some of the features of this upcoming device. The first thing we should say is that this is not the retail packaging. The fancy black box is just for showing on camera but if you place an order for the phone you'll just be getting the red box you see inside. The OnePlus 13s will come in three colors, black, green, and pink that we have here. The green model is exclusive to India while the pink makes the 13s the first OnePlus phone to ship in this color. On the side of the phone is the new Plus Key, which replaces the Alert slider on previous OnePlus flagships. This key can be assigned to various functions, including AI Plus Mind which captures and collates information on the screen within a new app called Mind Space that is part of the new OnePlus AI feature set. The 13s runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with a sizable internal cooling system. The phone features a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus, a first for a OnePlus phone. There's also 5.5G networking and an independent Wi-Fi chipset. All of this is packed into a compact body with a 6.32-inch display. We will have a lot more to share when the phone gets officially launched on June 5. Until then, you can check out some camera samples from the phone.

Realme GT 7 and 7T go global, first Nothing Phone (3) teaser, Week 22 in review

The Galaxy A57, which is expected in Q1 of 2026, will likely use a new Exynos 1680 chipset. The Exynos 1680 allegedly has the model designation S5E8865 and the codename Terra. No other details are known about it yet, but it is probably safe to assume that it will use an Xclipse GPU just like its predecessor. We saw the first glimpse of the Nothing Phone (3). More specifically, a macro shot of a part of the phone. Not much we can get from it, but perfectly in line with Nothing's style. Motorola's Moto G family is soon going to get another member, the Moto G96. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and we saw images of it. The phone will boast 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will have a 6.67-inch pOLED curved screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 5,500 mAh battery. On the rear, there's a 50 MP main camera using Sony's Lytia LYT-700C sensor, and an 8 MP macro camera. For selfies, you'll get a 32 MP snapper on the front. The device will be offered in Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue colorways. It's expected to cost around INR 22,990 when it lands in India, which right now translates into approximately $270. It's unclear what other markets it might launch in. It hasn't yet been seen on the market. The new premium model will be unveiled in July. It will expand the G family even further. The vanilla costs INR 8,999, which is about $105/€90. The Realme GT 7 and GT 7T made their global debut. The GT 7 uses the Dimensity 9400e chipset and features a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 50 MP main and 2x telephoto cameras and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. It's powered by a 7,000mAh battery with 120W charging. The GT 7T uses the Dimensity 8400-Max, and lacks a zoom camera, but has the same 7,000mAh battery. The Pixel 10 Pro (or Pixel 10 Pro XL) was spotted on a public beach in Vancouver, Canada, where it was filmed for a TV ad. The video crew wasn't working hard on keeping the phone a mystery, and the person who stumbled upon the set even got a glance at the storyboard (a visual script of all scenes that make up the video clip). Google will launch the Pixel 10 with a new camera feature that will allow users to add multiple people to the same shot. The Pixel 10 series could come in August. The latest flagship killers bring Dimensity chipsets and massive 7,000mAh batteries with 120W charging. It could be the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL. Comes in four different variants. OnePlus announced a slew of AI features, which will debut alongside the OnePlus 13s. The phone has a dedicated Plus Key on the side, replacing the iconic Alert slider. The new key will summon the AI Mind Space, a place that collects and catalogs information that it can recall later for you. The RedMagic 10S Pro launched in China with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition SoC and up to 24GB of RAM. Keeping the temperatures in check is what is known as the ICE-X Cooling System, which uses liquid metal and active air cooling. The company claims it has 250% enhanced thermal conductivity and a 30% larger heat dissipation area that lowers CPU temperatures by an additional 5°C. The Red Magic 10S Pro has a massive 7,500mAh battery with 120W charging, a 6.85-inch 144Hz OLED, and is now on sale. The new customizable Plus Key on the OnePlus 13s to play a major role in accessing these features. Global launch to follow on June 5. The premium model among the trio of new earbuds from Nothing.
