Synergy Announces a 1 Million EGP Prize for Discovering Momen's Killer in Qahwat El Mahatta
Synergy, the production company behind the series Qahwat El Mahatta, has announced a cash prize of 1 million EGP for 20 viewers who successfully solve the show's central mystery—identifying the killer of 'Mo'men,' the character played by Ahmed Ghozzi.
Suspicions revolve around six key suspects, including 'Al-Moallem Riad' (Bayoumi Fouad), 'Al-Malek' (Riyad El-Khouly), 'Julie' (Alaa Awad), and 'Reesha' (Hassan Abouelrous). Meanwhile, a police officer, portrayed by Ahmed Khaled Saleh, continues the investigation to uncover the real culprit.
This marks the first time a production company has launched a cash-prize competition for a TV drama.

1 Dead, 11 Injured in House Party Shooting in North Carolina
Israa Farhan A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with a deadly mass shooting at a house party over the weekend, which left one person dead and 11 others injured, authorities confirmed Tuesday. According to the Catawba County Sheriff's Office, the suspect, Jaron Nathaniel Killian of Lenoir, was taken into custody and is being held in jail as investigations continue. Officials said more arrests may follow as the case develops. The incident took place early Sunday morning in a typically quiet residential neighborhood in southwestern Catawba County, approximately 11 kilometers south of the city of Hickory. Law enforcement reported that at least 80 rounds were fired starting around 12:45 a.m., causing panic and chaos among partygoers. Witnesses described scenes of fear and confusion as people ran for their lives, dove for cover, and jumped into their vehicles to escape. Some of the victims were directly hit by gunfire, while others were injured while fleeing the scene. Emergency services responded quickly, and multiple people were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The sheriff's office also confirmed that search warrants were executed on Tuesday as part of the ongoing investigation. "Siko Siko" Is Coming to Streaming This Eid — Here's How to Watch
Yara Sameh Although it is still screening in theaters, Yango Play is treating its viewers to a delightful Eid al-Adha gift by making "Siko Siko", the buzziest Egyptian comedy-action film of the summer, available on the platform. "Siko Siko" boasts a cast that includes Taha Desouky, Essam Omar, Tara Emad, Bassem Samra, Ali Sobhy, Khaled El Sawy, Diana Hisham, Ahmed Abdel Hamid, and more. Released on April 24, the pic has dominated the box office and garnered EGP 181 million and SAR 3.5 million in just eight weeks. Omar El Mohandes helmed the film from a script by Mohamed El Dabbah, which took two years of writing and production to come to light and was initially set to be a TV series before it turned into a film. 'Siko Siko' is a social comedy that revolves around "Two cousins, both from a middle-class background, finally see their dream come true when their inheritance is rightfully returned to them following their uncle's death. Soon after, and to their shock, they discover that the inheritance is in the form of illegal goods. In order to liquidate these goods, they create an elaborate mobile game in order to sell the goods through it. They call this game… 'Siko Siko'. The cousins enjoy a brief moment of spectacular success before a mob boss appears in their lives, and claims to be the real owner of the goods!". The feature marks Desouky and Omar's first major role in a film. Lavrov Calls for Direct Dialogue Btw India, Pakistan to Build Mutual Trust
Nada Mustafa Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov emphasized on Tuesday the necessity of holding direct dialogue between Pakistan and India to foster mutual trust between the two nations. According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lavrov discussed bilateral cooperation and regional and international security issues during his meeting with Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan. The talks were reported by the Russian news agency TASS. Both sides agreed on the importance of uniting efforts to combat terrorism within international frameworks, particularly under the auspices of the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated since the terrorist attack on April 22 in the tourist town of Pahalgam, located in the Indian-administered part of Kashmir, which left 26 people dead.
