Lizzo is stepping back into the spotlight with full force.
The multi-talented artist just announced her upcoming mixtape titled My Face Hurts From Smiling , set to release this Friday.
The project is already making noise, not just for its bold title and timing, but for its high-profile features from two powerhouse artists: Doja Cat and SZA. https://www.instagram.com/p/DLSzC1cyajx/?hl=en&img_index=2 https://www.instagram.com/p/DLSzC1cyajx/?hl=en&img_index=2
This mixtape marks a confident return for Lizzo, who has been relatively quiet since the 2022 success of her album Special .
With tracks like 'About Damn Time' earning her Grammy gold and mainstream acclaim, the new project feels like both a continuation and a creative reset — one that leans more into her rap roots, bold personality, and unfiltered charisma.
The rollout for My Face Hurts From Smiling was just as loud as Lizzo herself. She teased the release with a cheeky social post showing smiley-face emojis covering her middle fingers — a playful nod to the haters and a clear message that she's back on her own terms.
The title itself suggests duality: joy, defiance, and maybe a bit of sarcasm. As Lizzo put it, she's smiling — and daring you to question why.
The mixtape is said to feature a mix of high-energy tracks and melodic surprises. Her collaboration with Doja Cat, titled 'Still Can't Fuh,' is expected to bring fierce bars and viral energy, while her track with SZA, 'IRL,' leans into a more sultry, slow-burning vibe.
The combination of these three women — each dominating their own lane — adds a layer of anticipation and crossover appeal to the release.
Lizzo is also leaning into the freestyle and fun spirit that defined her earlier work.
Tracks like 'Yitty On Yo Tittys (Freestyle)' are rumored to channel the same wild, catchy energy that made her a breakout star, this time with even more confidence and control over her sound.
Whether you're a fan of her rap flows, her feel-good anthems, or her unapologetic confidence, My Face Hurts From Smiling is shaping up to be a mixtape with something for everyone — and a statement from Lizzo that she's still a force to be reckoned with.
Mark your calendars — this Friday, it's time to smile (and maybe twerk) again. https://www.instagram.com/p/DLSzC1cyajx/?hl=en&img_index=2

LeAnn Rimes' Teeth Fell Out Mid-Song, And She Spent The Rest Of Her Show Pushing Them In
LeAnn Rimes is speaking out after a dental malfunction nearly derailed one of her recent concerts. The two-time Grammy winner was performing at Skagit Casino Resort in Bow, Washington, last week when her front dental bridge unexpectedly fell out, prompting her to abruptly exit the stage to address the situation. Rimes recounted the experience Sunday in a candid video shared on her social media platforms. 'I was onstage, and in the middle of 'One Way Ticket,' I feel something pop in my mouth,' she explained. 'And if you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front, and it fell out in the middle of my song.' Though Rimes said she initially 'panicked,' she nonetheless handled the situation like a pro ― even if she later found it challenging to perform her signature hit, 'Can't Fight the Moonlight,' because of the number of F's and T's in the song's lyrics. View this post on Instagram A post shared by leann rimes cibrian (@leannrimes) 'I ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, like popped it back in, and then just went on singing,' she quipped. 'And then I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening, or else I would have had to walk offstage. For the rest of the show, I was literally like this, pushing my teeth in, like every couple lines, and singing.' 'I don't usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last,' she added, before playfully warning her future audiences: 'Get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them, please return them.' Rimes' admission drew a slew of well wishes from some of her famous pals, including fellow musician Richard Marx and actor Mary Steenburgen. 'Love you even more for this. The show must … go on!!' wrote 'Grey's Anatomy' actor Jessica Capshaw. Rimes, who is set to appear on ABC's '911: Nashville' later this year, has been outspoken about her dental issues in the past. According to Billboard, the singer-songwriter has undergone dental surgery a total of 29 times. In 2013, she filed a malpractice lawsuit against a former dentist, citing 'severe tooth pain, gum inflammation and chronic gum bleeding' that she said stemmed from failed crowns and veneers. Anna Wintour Steps Down as Vogue's Editor-in-Chief After 37 Years
Source: John Nacion / Getty After nearly four decades shaping the voice and vision of American Vogue , Anna Wintour is officially stepping down as editor-in-chief of the iconic fashion magazine. According to multiple industry outlets including People , WWD , Business of Fashion , and more, the announcement came during a staff meeting on the morning of June 25th. While Wintour (75) is leaving her post at Vogue 's U.S. edition, she's not disappearing from Condé Nast entirely. She'll remain in her other high-ranking roles as global chief content officer for Condé Nast and global editorial director of Vogue , continuing to oversee editorial direction across major titles like GQ , Vanity Fair , and Architectural Digest . RELATED: The Top Superfine Looks From the 2025 Met Gala Wintour took over Vogue in 1988 and wasted no time making her mark. Her very first cover, the November 1988 issue, famously featured model Michaela Bercu wearing jeans and a bejeweled Christian Lacroix top. The image broke long-standing Vogue norms. Wintour brought a breath of fresh, fashion-forward air that challenged the industry to evolve. 'That one broke all the rules,' Wintour recalled in a 2012 interview with Vogue . 'I had just looked at that picture and sensed the winds of change.' She also ushered in the now-standard era of celebrities fronting fashion magazine covers. Under her reign, Vogue didn't just report on fashion and celeb culture, it shaped it. Of course, Anna Wintour's presence wasn't without mystique. Her signature bob and dark sunglasses became as recognizable as her reputation for being tough, precise, and, at times, intimidating. That image helped inspire the icy Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada , written by Wintour's former assistant Lauren Weisberger. When the film premiered in 2006, Wintour showed up wearing Prada herself. It offered one of the first real glimpses into the inner workings of Wintour's editorial empire. Over the years, her influence only expanded. She was named artistic director of Condé Nast in 2013, global content advisor in 2019, and remains one of the most powerful figures in media and fashion. No successor has been named yet, but the search is reportedly underway. SEE ALSO Anna Wintour Steps Down as Vogue's Editor-in-Chief After 37 Years was originally published on

Leann Rimes details ‘embarrassment' after her teeth fell out during performance
There's a first time for everything — but Leann Rimes hopes this first is more of a last. In a video posted to her Instagram, the 42-year-old Grammy-winning singer told her fans a story about the 'most epic experience ever,' which saw her musical talent put to the test live on stage. It all went down during a recent performance at Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington. 'Last night, I was on stage in the middle of 'One Way Ticket.' I feel something pop in my mouth,' Rimes admitted in the June 21 video. What Rimes really needed at the time was a one-way ticket to the dentist. 'If you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front and it fell out in the middle of my song last night,' she continued. Rimes performed in front of the Skagit Valley crowd on June 20 and 21, according to her website. But instead of stopping her show, Rimes was living proof that the show must go on. 'I panicked and in the middle (of the song) said, 'Hold on,' and ran to the side of the stage and popped it back in and then just went on singing' she explained in the video. For the rest of the show, Rimes said she had to constantly push her front teeth back into place. She later confessed to the crowd about what happened. 'I had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage,' she added. Rimes further described it as 'the most epic example of the show must go on.' 'I don't have a lot of firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last,' she joked. Elsewhere in the confession, Rimes said that she learned something about herself amid the panic. The 'Committed' singer went on to admit that she never knew how many difficult sounds she makes when she sings — especially the types of sounds that require front teeth to create. She singled out her song 'Can't Fight the Moonlight' as one that was particularly hard to sing, adding that her teeth 'completely fell out of her mouth' a second time while performing it. Rimes later joked that she hoped her teeth would stay in place when she returned to the venue the following night. 'If you catch them, return them,' she joked of her teeth. Rimes then used her mishap as a reminder for other artists who experience something similar. 'In case anybody has an issue on stage ever and feels embarrassed by it, just watch this video again and it'll remind you that the show can go on even in the midst of sheer utter embarrassment,' she explained. 'You just gotta be real with people. It's all good,' she added.
