Indonesian police arrest three Australian men over shooting in Bali
Indonesian police have arrested three Australian men for a shooting incident that killed a fourth at a villa on the resort island of Bali, its police chief said on Wednesday.
Police detained on Tuesday the three suspects whom they accused of having 'prepared and executed' the shooting, Bali police chief Daniel Adityajaya said.
'We have arrested three suspects,' he told reporters, adding that they had been charged with premeditated murder and could face the death penalty if it was proved.
Police declined to identify the men, however, referring to them only by the initials C, D and T.
Saturday's shooting just after midnight killed Zivan Radmanovic, 32 and seriously wounded a fifth Australian, Sanar Ghanim, 35.
Indonesian authorities previously said they had arrested two people for the shooting, one at Soekarno-Hatta airport near the capital, Jakarta, as he prepared to leave the country.
'We arrested him just before he managed to leave,' Adityajaya said.
The other two were detained abroad, after police sought the cooperation of Interpol in Southeast Asia, they said, but declined to say where the arrests were made.
They also seized items such as a 9-mm gun, a motorcycle and two cars the suspects had used to flee the scene of the crime, Adityajaya said.
Police have not given a motive for the crime, saying their investigation continues, with Adityajaya adding that a further suspect could be identified as the plot's mastermind.

Najib alleged the board had issued a home arrest order for him to complete his sentence at home, but the case is still being heard in court. Najib awaits his verdict in another key case that ties him directly to the 1MDB scandal, which has prompted investigations in the US and several other countries. The defense in May closed their case on four charges of abuse of power to obtain over $700 million from 1MDB that went into Najib's bank accounts, and 21 counts of money laundering involving the same amount. Closing arguments are scheduled in October, after which the court will set a date for verdict.

Two people arrested over fatal shooting in Bali
JAKARTA — Bali police have arrested two people over a shooting that killed one Australian and seriously injured another. Zivan Radmanovic, 32, was shot dead just after midnight on Saturday after two men broke into his villa in Munggu, in the south of the Indonesian tourist island. One of the suspects was arrested in Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, while the other was caught abroad, police said without giving more details. Radmanovic's wife earlier told police she was awakened by her husband's screams before finding his body in the bathroom, Australian media reported. Sanar Ghanim, who was also shot, is getting treatment for his injuries in hospital. Local police say the 34-year-old was also beaten. Ghanim's wife testified to seeing the attackers.
