Are Rachel and Siya Kolisi back together? Viral airport video fuels romance rumours

South African Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has sent social media into a frenzy after a video of him walking alongside a woman resembling his ex-wife, Rachel Kolisi, went viral.
The clip was shared by a fan, @meagsypoo, who spotted Kolisi while travelling economy with the team at O.R. Tambo International Airport on Sunday.
'Yes, the game was good, but did you share a flight with the bokke the next day?' read the title of the TikTok, which quickly garnered close to half a million views.
The video showcased the Springboks, who had just celebrated a victory over Ireland at Loftus Versfeld the previous evening.
The fan, who admitted to feeling too shy to ask for a photo with the rugby stars, described her experience as 'stalking them like a weirdo instead'.
Despite her reluctance to approach the players, her TikTok post captures a moment of excitement for rugby fans.
As the video circulated, eager netizens began speculating whether Kolisi had rekindled his relationship with Rachel.

Comments flooded in, with one user, @tshilidzi__, exclaiming, 'Is that Rachel with Siya??? 😭😭✋.'
Another user, @ilovejubah, quipped, 'Siya on the hunt for Rachel 2.0,' while @kamo_kula confidently stated, 'That was definitely Rachel!!!!!'
However, some observers noted that the woman in the video might be Kate Woods, the director of Adidas South Africa, rather than Rachel.
The resemblance sparked a flurry of online chatter about the Springboks captain's personal life.
Siya and Rachel announced their divorce in October 2024, citing mutual respect and love as the foundation for their decision.
They expressed their commitment to co-parenting their children and continuing their work together on the Kolisi Foundation, despite ending their marriage.
The news left many South Africans heartbroken, as the couple had been beloved figures in the rugby community.
Despite the speculation surrounding this recent airport sighting, it seems Kolisi remains focused on his role as both a father and team captain.

Why the V-Class is the New Standard of Taste
A quiet revolution is taking place on South Africa's roads – one where status is no longer shouted but softly stated. As ideas of luxury evolve, a growing number of travellers, professionals and cultural insiders are redefining what it means to move well. At the centre of this shift is the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class: a vehicle that reflects the changing values of South Africans who favour substance, space and understated sophistication. Whether headed to high-profile events like the Durban July, or simply travelling in style across provinces, the V-Class has become a symbol of a new kind of taste – one rooted in comfort, versatility, and modern design. It offers the flexibility to carry people, wardrobes, ideas or equipment – without ever compromising on comfort and experience. This shift aligns with a broader global trend: the rise of quiet luxury and purposeful mobility. Less about performance specs and more about lived ease, the V-Class delivers what many now associate with true luxury – control over one's time, space to think, and the comfort to enjoy the journey, not just the destination. 'Luxury is no longer defined by excess or display,' says Reandren Thulkanam, General Manager at Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa. 'Today, it's about freedom, comfort, and intelligent utility. The V-Class answers that shift – it's elegant, capable and allows people to move with intention. For many of our customers, that is the new mark of success.' The recent V-Class convoy to the Durban July, with a scenic stopover in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, captured this shift in motion – a curated road experience that prioritised personal space, functionality, and the simple joy of travelling well. Also, quietly present in the convoy was a glimpse of the future: the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQV, the brand's all-electric premium van. Its inclusion signals what's next – a move toward sustainable luxury that still delivers on the comfort and presence the popular V-Class has come to represent. As South Africa's definition of success grows more nuanced, the V-Class is finding its place not as a vehicle of prestige, but as a reflection of a deeper understanding: that how we travel is as important as where we're going.

Kaizer Chiefs opinion: Identity crisis deepens, urgency must follow
Kaizer Chiefs may boast one of the richest legacies in South African football, but the present-day version of the club feels increasingly unrecognizable. For the Amakhosi faithful, the past few seasons have been filled with misfires, mismanagement, and mediocrity. And unless Kaizer Chiefs act fast — not just in the transfer market, but culturally — they risk becoming a shadow of their former selves. While Kaizer Chiefs have shown flickers of ambition, including pursuing youth talent like Neo Rapoo, nothing yet suggests a cohesive long-term vision. The club still lacks a modern football identity that fans can believe in. There was a time when simply wearing the Chiefs badge commanded respect. But now, the club feels more reactive than proactive. Rivals like Mamelodi Sundowns have carved out structured systems, philosophies, and pipelines of talent. Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs continue to operate on nostalgia and urgency rather than vision. If Kaizer Chiefs want to compete, they must do more than just sign players — they need to become a club with direction again. That starts at the top. This is not just a transfer issue. It's a cultural one. Chiefs must decide who they are and what they want to be — before the brand power fades and the faithful walk away. Because the longer the identity crisis lasts, the more distant the glory days become. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 0211.
