The leather-bound book was compiled in 2003 by the late sex offender's accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is being questioned by Justice Department officials this week to see if she has additional information about the controversial case.
The list of Epstein's acquaintances in the book has been reviewed by the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
Trump and his team have tried to change the subject while Republican leadership ushered in the summer recess early in a bid to buy more time to deal with the scandal. But the firestorm surrounding the Epstein files shows no signs of abating.
Clinton is the latest high-profile figure who reportedly wrote a note in the birthday book to Epstein, according to the Journal, and he joins a number of other well-known personalities.
Messages were reportedly grouped into categories that included: 'Friends,' 'Business,' 'Brooklyn,' and 'Family.'
Names include Wall Street billionaire Leon Black, fashion designer Vera Wang, media owner Mort Zuckerman, former Microsoft executive Nathan Myhrvold and U.K. ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson.
In Wang's letter to Epstein, the fashion mogul suggested the pair go on a shopping trip and joked about the disgraced financier going on The Bachelor, according to the Journal. Wang told the outlet in 2023 that she regretted ever associating with Epstein and did not respond to a request for comment.
Private equity investor Black, who met Epstein around 1996, wrote Epstein a handwritten poem, according to the Journal.
Two lines of the poem, signed with 'Love and kisses, Leon,' reportedly read:
Blonde, Red or Brunette, spread out geographically
With this net of fish, Jeff's now 'The Old Man and The Sea'
Black previously said he 'deeply regrets' having had any involvement with the convicted pedophile. A spokesman for the billionaire declined to comment on the note.
The note from British politician Mandelson referred to Epstein as 'my best pal,' and included pictures of a tropical island and whiskey, according to the Journal.
The politician told the outlet in 2023 that he 'very much regrets ever having been introduced to Epstein.' A spokesperson for Mandelson declined to comment when approached by the outlet.
Former Microsoft executive and billionaire Nathan Myhrvold reportedly wrote in the book that he was sending Epstein photos from a recent trip to Africa. Photos that followed included lions and zebras mating, where a zebra's penis was reportedly visible. 'They seemed more appropriate than anything I could put in words,' the letter said, according to the Journal.
Myhrvold said he doesn't recall the writing the note and as a wildlife photographer, he 'regularly shares photos of and writes about animal behavior,' a spokesperson told the outlet. The spokesperson added that the billionaire only knew Epstein through a TED conference.
Billionaire Mort Zuckerman, who owned the New York Daily News at the time, wrote in his letter that 'he had searched the newspaper for information about Epstein and joked he was born in Liechtenstein and had a wife and three children,' the Journal reports. Zuckerman did not respond to the outlet's request for comment.
Other associates of Epstein's who feature in the book reportedly include Victoria's Secret owner Leslie Wexner, who previously condemned Epstein's crimes as 'abhorrent,' the late Wall Street titan Alan Greenberg, and the late businessman James Cayne, who both worked with Epstein at the Bear Stearns investment bank in the 1970s.
Trump, who has vehemently denied ever writing a note to Epstein, tried to deflect attention onto Clinton when speaking to reporters Friday.
Clinton's handwritten note reportedly read: 'It's reassuring isn't it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends.'
A Clinton spokesman declined to comment to the Journal and instead referred to a previous statement saying the former president's association with Epstein ended more than a decade before he was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. The statement also said Clinton didn't know about Epstein's crimes, the Journal reports.
The Journal previously reported Trump's birthday letter to Epstein included a drawing of a naked woman and a note that read: 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.'
Trump has denied authoring any such letter and is suing the Journal, its parent company and owner Rupert Murdoch for $10 billion.
'The Wall Street Journal is writing yet another defamatory story about the President of the United States about an alleged letter they don't even have because the President never wrote it,' said Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, in response to the outlet's latest bombshell report.
Trump socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, but reportedly cut ties before Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18.
While Trump has not been accused of any formal wrongdoing or charged with any crime, his proximity to Epstein, someone he once called a friend, has heightened conspiracy theories that the government is withholding documents that could reveal embarrassing information about high-profile individuals.

August 2 - Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman is facing felony weapons charges after a traffic stop in Los Angeles on Friday night. By Nashville is getting a makeover all thanks to business mogul Elon Musk. Musk's Boring Company, has plans to build a massive underground tunnel in Tennessee and it seems he has the support of many major Tennessee lawmakers on a federal level, but not so much from local leaders. What one representative called a 'vanity project for the wealthy' has been dubbed the 'Music City Loop'. It will span 10 miles from city center to the airport on Nashville's south east corridor, its entrance just steps from the airport. The privately funded project will supposedly shuttle Tennesseans between downtown and the airport in only eight minutes. The company plans to use electric vehicles to connect city hotspots, similar to an already operating Boring system in Las Vegas . Musk and Boring Company seemed to have the full support of Republican lawmakers, who demonstrated their support at a press conference about the project on July 28. Republican Tennessee Governor Bill Lee attended, and expressed his excitement for the endeavor. 'They could have taken their next underground loop anywhere, but they saw something unique about Tennessee,' he said. 'The best part of all of it is it's 100 percent privately funded. There will be no cost to Tennessee taxpayers.' But, John Ray Clemens, chair of the Tennessee House Democratic Caucus, called the privately funded endeavor 'fiscally irresponsible and legally suspect'. 'No responsible executive would give away unrestricted and unlimited underground property rights to an unhinged billionaire, who Donald Trump doesn't even trust anymore, and grant him and his company exclusive access rights beneath our city and a monopoly to profit in perpetuity.' The project has yet to receive approval from the Metro Nashville Council or the mayor's office, and Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell was notably absent from the event. In a brief statement about the project, he said: 'We are aware of the state's conversations with The Boring Company, and we have a number of operational questions to understand the potential impacts on Metro and Nashvillians.' Yet, United States Senator Marsha Blackburn seemed to think the impact would be overwhelmingly positive. She posted on X that the company 'couldn't have picked a better new home for their state-of-the-art tunneling technology than Nashville'. She wrote: 'I look forward to seeing the tremendous impact of this investment in our city!' State Representative Aftyn Behn called the tunnel a 'privatization of public infrastructure,' noting that it was designed to benefit a select few 'not the people who actually live and work here'. In his press release about the 'Music City Loop' Behn wrote, 'It's a vanity project for the wealthy, and once again, the Lee administration is rolling out the red carpet for billionaires while working families are stuck in traffic.' 'We rank at the bottom in livability, and yet instead of investing in roads, schools and transit that benefit everyday Tennesseans, they're floating billion-dollar boondoggles for the ultra-rich,' stated state Senator Heidi Campbell The decision seems to be just as divisive among citizens as it is among local lawmakers. Many took to social media following the press conference to chime in with their opinions. Reacting to coverage of the press conference on Reddit , one user posted: 'And the grift continues. This isn't a much needed or desirable project. 'This is a grift meant to line the pockets of the world's richest person. The goal was never providing a decent or even acceptable transit service.' Trump reaffirms support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara
RABAT, Aug 2 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has reaffirmed support for Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara, saying a Moroccan autonomy plan for the territory was the sole solution to the disputed region, state news agency MAP said on Saturday. The long-frozen conflict pits Morocco, which considers the territory as its own, against the Algeria-backed Polisario Front, which seeks an independent state there. Trump at the end of his first term in office recognised the Moroccan claims to Western Sahara, which has phosphate reserves and rich fishing grounds, as part of a deal under which Morocco agreed to normalise its relations with Israel. His secretary of state, Marco Rubio, made clear in April that support for Morocco on the issue remained U.S. policy, but these were Trump's first quoted remarks on the dispute during his second term. "I also reiterate that the United States recognises Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara and supports Morocco's serious, credible and realistic autonomy proposal as the only basis for a just and lasting solution to the dispute," MAP quoted Trump as saying in a message to Morocco's King Mohammed VI. "Together we are advancing shared priorities for peace and security in the region, including by building on the Abraham Accords, combating terrorism and expanding commercial cooperation," Trump said. As part of the Abraham Accords signed during Trump's first term, four Muslim-majority countries agreed to normalise diplomatic relations with Israel after U.S. mediation. In June this year, Britain became the third permanent member of the U.N. Security Council to back an autonomy plan under Moroccan sovereignty for the territory after the U.S. and France. Algeria, which has recognised the self-declared Sahrawi Republic, has refused to take part in roundtables convened by the U.N. envoy to Western Sahara and insists on holding a referendum with independence as an option.
