Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu extended his attack on Anthony Albanese in a Sky News interview last night, saying Albanese's record will be 'forever tarnished' by his imminent plans to recognise Palestine. Treasurer Jim Chalmers has revealed plans to impose a road-user charge on EV drivers within months following the conclusion of the economic reform roundtable yesterday. Measures to accelerate building approvals as well as mines and renewable energy projects are also expected to be immediately progressed after the roundtable, as Chalmers pledged to move on several 'quick wins' to lift living standards in Australia. 9.33am Today's weather 9.33am Welcome to our live news blog Good morning, and welcome to our live news blog for Friday, August 22.
