The Golden State Warriors have released their full 2025-26 regular season schedule, packed with marquee matchups and a few quirks that will shape the upcoming season.
The Warriors will be in the spotlight often, earning a franchise-record 34 nationally televised games—tied with the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and Oklahoma City Thunder for the most in the NBA this season.
They tip-off the season on October 21 with a road showdown against the Lakers, followed by their home debut at the Chase Center on October 23 against the Denver Nuggets.
Holiday basketball remains a fixture on Golden State's calendar. This year's slate includes a highly anticipated Christmas Day matchup in San Francisco against former Splash Brother Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks, as well as a MLK Day game where Jimmy Butler will face off against his former team, the Miami Heat.
Golden State's schedule also features 15 back-to-backs, up from 14 last season but still short of the league-high 16. Fans can expect some unusual tip times as well, with three weekday home games set to start at 8 p.m. PT.
Other notable league dates include the start of the NBA Cup on October 31, the NBA Trade Deadline on February 5, and All-Star Weekend from February 13–15. The regular season wraps up for all teams on April 12.

This season's first 20 games feature 11 road games and nine home games for the Warriors. How about the opponents? Here's the full breakdown: Nuggets twice, Blazers twice, Spurs twice, Pacers twice, Los Angeles Lakers once, Grizzlies once, Clippers once, Milwaukee Bucks once, Suns once, Kings once, Thunder once, New Orleans Pelicans once, Magic once, Heat once, Utah Jazz once and the Houston Rockets once.
In total, 10 of the 16 teams the Warriors play in their first 20 games made the playoffs last season. Age, strength of schedule and the longest road trip of the season. The Warriors are staring at an exam from the start that can reveal plenty of answers about them moving forward.

Within the Dubs' schedule that the NBA released on Thursday are three games that are slated for a diabolical 8 p.m. Pacific tipoff time. The first will take place on Oct. 28 against the Clippers, the second is set for Dec. 2 against the Thunder, and the third is on Jan. 13 against the Trail Blazers. All three of these games are at home and will be broadcast on NBC, as part of the new rights deal with the league.

It is also worth mentioning that the Milwaukee Bucks were another team that kicked around the idea of pursuing Kuminga. If they were to do so, the Warriors made it known they would want Bobby Portis in a sign-and-trade scenario, which is something Milwaukee wasn't willing to do.
