New image of missing Brian Fletcher released three days on from disappearance
Police have shared a new image of a missing Bury pensioner as they step up their search to find him.
Brian Fletcher, 80, left his home on Saturday (March 22) before travelling to Tockholes, in Lancashire, but failed to return.
He had been driving a grey Citroen C4 Cactus car, registration WP64HSC, which was found parked in a layby on the A675 near to Tockholes Road.

Lancashire Police has shared a new image of Brian today (March 25), which captured the pensioner before his visit to Tockholes on Saturday.
Officers say it shows Brian in the clothes they believe he was wearing at the time of his disappearance - a tan-coloured cap, blue jumper and cargo trousers.
A force spokesperson added: "Our extensive search for Brian is continuing today.
"A keen walker and birdwatcher, Tockholes is an area Brian visited regularly over the years - including Higher Roddlesworth Reservoir and Lower Hoddlesworth Reservoir.
"We have officers searching the area today, with search dogs, our Mounted branch and the water search team involved.
"Bolton Mountain Rescue, Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue and Rossendale Mountain Rescue teams, are assisting us with the search and we are very grateful to the teams for providing their help, expertise and knowledge."

Officers are continuing to ask for anyone with information about Brian's disappearance to come forward.
They also want to hear from people with dashcam footage from the A675 Belmont Road - from Abbey Village to Tockholes - captured between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturday.
Anyone who sees Brian is urged to call 999 immediately. Other information can be passed on to police by calling 101, quoting log 1544 of March 22, 2025.

Man admits causing death of pregnant woman's unborn child in horror crash
A 20-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after he hit a pregnant woman whose baby later died in hospital. Ashir Shahid, of Windsor Road, Walton le Dale, Lancashire, pleaded guilty to the charge at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday (June 4). Lancashire Police said she was left with serious injuries and is still recovering. The woman was pregnant at the time and, despite undergoing emergency surgery to have her baby boy delivered, he tragically later died in hospital. Following enquires, Shahid was arrested and subsequently charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He pleaded guilty to both charges. A 16-year-old boy from Walton le Dale, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in the dock alongside Shahid and pleaded guilty to assisting an offender. Shahid was remanded into custody to be sentenced on August 14 at the same court. The 16-year-old will be sentenced at the same time.

Police search in Manchester to find missing girl, 15, not seen since last month
Searches are ongoing to find a missing teenager who hasn't been seen since last month. Bayan, aged 15, was reported as missing in Lancashire. She had last been seen on May 27 at around 3.05pm, in the Enstone area of Skelmersdale. She is known to have links to Manchester. In an update, Lancashire Police said the case had been passed on to Greater Manchester Police who are continuing with enquiries to find her. Bayan is described as being 5ft 5ins, of a slim build and was last seen wearing black leggings, a large black overcoat and a black head scarf. She was possibly carrying a plastic bag. An update from Lancashire Police read: "Yesterday, we asked for your help locate 15-year-old Bayan, who was reported missing from Skelmersdale, with links to Manchester. "Enquiries to locate Bayan have now been transferred to our Greater Manchester Police colleagues." Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for a statement. Anyone who sees Bayan is urged to call 999 immediately.
