Airline to expand flight offerings from Lancaster to Florida
Breeze Airlines, recently named Startup Airline of the Year by the Centre of Aviation, currently offers flights from Lancaster to Orlando on Thursdays and Sundays. That's soon to change. The airline announced it will offer four weekly flights to Orlando.
Flights to Orlando will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays starting June 6, 2025, according to Breeze Airlines.
Travelers to and from Lancaster can start booking summer travel now.
Breeze Airlines said their planes feature an elevated experience with premium seating options and high-speed WiFi on its fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Travelers can learn more about Breeze's flight offerings by visiting the website.
According to Breeze, the airline was founded by aviation entrepreneur David Nelleman and offers over 275 year-round and seasonal routes to 69 cities in 31 states.

Morgan Stanley says nuclear power is gaining momentum, recommends these stocks
Morgan Stanley sees $2.2 trillion of investment in new nuclear power through 2050, a more than 40% increase over its projection last year as government support and demand from the tech sector has grown. The investment bank sees the U.S. adding 150 gigawatts of nuclear power by the middle of century, according to a note published this month. That would more than double the installed capacity in the U.S., though it is well below President Donald Trump's goal of adding an additional 300 gigawatts. "The nuclear renaissance has already made significant progress," Morgan Stanley analysts told clients on Aug. 12. "Over the past year, global policy support – especially in the United States – has strengthened significantly. Hyperscalers are increasingly focused on securing clean, reliable 24/7 energy, highlighting the strategic importance of nuclear power." Morgan Stanley recommends playing the trend in the U.S. through the independent power producers Talen Energy and Vistra Corp. , reactor designer GE Vernova , and the utility Public Service Enterprise Group . The U.S. trails China when it comes to building new nuclear plants, but momentum is growing as Alphabet , Amazon , Meta and Microsoft have announced investments in nuclear power over the past year. China has about 37 gigawatts of nuclear power under construction while the U.S. is not building any plants right now, according to Morgan Stanley. Trump has sought to jump start nuclear construction through a series of executive orders in May that aim to slash regulation and accelerate approvals. The federal tax credits for nuclear power also remain in place after the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Vistra is expected to strike a data center deal at its Comanche Peak nuclear plant in Texas, while Public Service Enterprise Group will likely announce a deal at one of its New Jersey plants, according to Morgan Stanley. Talen Energy has contracted out all its nuclear capacity to Amazon already, but the company could announced data center deals with its gas assets, according to the bank. The U.S. has a large pipeline of 17 small modular reactors under development, though these plants are not expected to come online until the 2030s at the earliest if at all, according to the bank. The developers of SMRs believe they will make nuclear plants faster and more affordable to build. Morgan Stanley recommends GE Vernova as a way to play SMRs. GE Vernova is aiming to build its BWRX-300 in Ontario, Canada and in Tennessee. GE Vernova and Talen are up about 88% this year, Vistra has gained about 43%, and Public Service Enterprise Group is flat.

Chrysler's Iconic 300 Is Coming Back in 2029, With a Twist
What It Is We're hearing that Chrysler is working on a full-size electric family sedan reprising the '300' name, taking design elements and tech from the stunning Halcyon concept. The previous 300 (pictured below and in the gallery) was notable for its muscular elegance that was also culturally cool. It was powerful, with an available Hemi V-8 engine. For an idea of its importance, when Chrysler was on the brink of bankruptcy in 2008 and removing lightbulbs from empty Detroit offices to cut its electricity bill, the next-generation 300 was one of the few vehicles that continued development. The Halcyon, while futuristic, signals Chrysler's continued belief in the viability of an elegant sedan, but with functionality, perhaps courtesy of next-generation Stow 'n Go seats. (The concept's seats retracted into the rear trunk area.) Why It Matters Chrysler's thin portfolio would get a big boost from a sedan that harks back to the seemingly timeless 300, dubbed the poor man's Bentley. The Chrysler 300 full-size sedan was discontinued in December 2023 when Stellantis shuttered the Brampton, Ontario, Canada, plant for retooling to pivot to an electric future. Plans were to replace it with an EV based on the Chrysler Airflow concept in 2025. That concept has been revised many times, as has the corporate strategy and timelines for a new Chrysler model. Stellantis is now looking at 2027 for a crossover and later than that for a potential revival of a sedan. Platform and Powertrain Chrysler revived the nameplate with the front-wheel-drive 300M in 1999 and in 2004 returned it to rear-wheel drive with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8-powered 300C, which was the 2025 MotorTrend Car of the Year. Returning on the STLA Large platform means it can accommodate all drivetrains: internal combustion engines, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, extended-range hybrids, and battery electric vehicles. Initial plans were for all future Chrysler models to be electric-only, but a hybrid could be an option as consumers are still slow to embrace pure EVs. And while the Hemi is hugely famous, the latest Hurricane 3.0-liter turbocharged I-6 engines are smoother and more in keeping with the premium status the car will aspire to while also providing more power. Another option is the eTorque powertrain from the Ram 1500 that pairs the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 with a hybrid battery system. The sedan is expected to be all-wheel drive. STLA Large provides both 400- and 800-volt electrical architecture, with a range of up to 400 miles. The 300 will also use the STLA Smart Cockpit, STLA Brain for connectivity and software-defined-vehicle capability, and STLA AutoDrive for autonomous driving capability. A senior Kremlin official outlined key details of President Donald Trump's Friday summit with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Alaska, saying the two leaders will first hold a one-on-one meeting before joining wider delegation level talks which will focus on the Ukraine war as well as potential 'bilateral cooperation' between the two countries on economic and trade matters. Ushakov said a joint press conference is planned after the meeting, depending on its outcome, but it is unclear if Putin and Trump will address it. The summit, which is set to take place at Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base in Alaska, will begin at 11:30 a.m. local time, and Trump and Putin will 'say a few words' before the meeting. The 'settlement' of the Ukraine war will be the 'central topic' of the meeting, Ushakov added. Ushakov indicated that the trade discussions may also form a key part of the meeting, noting that 'an exchange of views on the further development of bilateral cooperation, including in the trade and economic sphere, is expected.' The foreign policy official then noted: 'I would like to note that this cooperation [between Russia and the U.S. in trade] has enormous potential, which, unfortunately, has not been tapped yet.' Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Moscow's sovereign wealth fund, will be a member of Russia's delegation, a potential sign that trade may be a key item on the agenda. Surprising Fact A VIP jet of the Russia's Special Flight Squadron left Moscow for Anchorage early on Thursday, according to live tracking data from FlightRadar24. The plane in question is an Ilyushin Il-96-300, the same type which operated by the Special Flight Squadron as the country's presidential jet. It is unclear if Putin is onboard the flight in question. The plane is scheduled to land in Anchorage at 6:43 a.m. local time. As of early Thursday morning, the Russian jet is the most tracked plane on FlightRadar24, with more than 15,000 following it live.
