Prince Harry
and
Meghan Markle
are reportedly running low on cash flow with no royal backup, despite spreading out their ventures on social media platforms. In the focus of saving dollars, the duo has laid off six employees, including two in-house representatives.
"Milk lasts longer than their employees"
According to Page Six, the tally of the employees who have either left or lost their jobs goes up to 25, with some not being disclosed in public. 'It's the same old story – they cycle through staff as quickly as normal people cycle through toilet paper. Milk lasts longer than their employees,' one royal source said.
Initially, a deal with an OTT platform was said to be $100 million, but now, newer reports concluded that it's closer to $20 million.
While the docuseries, 'Harry & Meghan,' and the lifestyle show where the Duchess gives homemade remedies and tips, 'With Love, Meghan,' created a significant impact in the market, the others were simply flops. After the royal battle over security, the cost that Prince Harry has to bear is nearly $2 million a year.
Everybody is terrified of Meghan Markle...
Previously, Vanity Fair covered a story where an anonymous employee stated that it is 'really, really, really awful.

'She belittles people, she doesn't take advice. They're both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently. Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he's very much an enabler. And she's just terrible,' a source said in September 2024, when The Hollywood Reporter exposé mentioned that everybody is terrified of Meghan.
Prince William noticed...
Meanwhile, Meghan launched her rosé wine on Tuesday, on what would have been Princess Diana's 64th birthday. The swift move did not go unnoticed by fans as well as Prince William. 'It's not lost on Prince William that Meghan has launched an alcohol brand on his mother's birthday, the very mum he lost in a drink-driving tragedy,' the royal reporter told The Sun.

Exclusive - Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Rohit Purohit performs on hit Shah Rukh Khan songs; says 'I ensured that I add my own style and not copy SRK'

Rohit Purohit, who is currently essaying the role of Armaan in Rajan Shahi's popular and long-running television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, recently had the chance to shoot a special dance sequence to the iconic romantic track "Janam Dekh Lo" from the hit film Veer-Zaara, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta. This opportunity was both exciting and emotionally significant for Rohit, who has always admired Shah Rukh Khan, especially for his timeless romantic roles. Sharing his thoughts on performing the song, Rohit said, "I love Shah Rukh Khan and his films. When I came to know that I have to perform the romantic song of Shah Rukh Khan with Abhira (played by Samridhi Shukla), I was excited. I ensured that I add my own style and not copy SRK." He emphasized that while the influence of SRK is undeniable and inspiring, it was important for him to bring a unique flavor to the performance rather than imitate. He consciously worked on presenting the emotion of the song in his own way, staying true to his character Armaan and the context of the storyline. Rohit has been an admirer of Shah Rukh Khan since his early days and has a special fondness for films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Veer-Zaara, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, all of which featured unforgettable romantic tracks that are still cherished today. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending local enterprise accounting software [Click Here] Esseps Learn More Undo His admiration for SRK's charm and intensity is clear, yet Rohit's professionalism ensured that he channeled the emotion with individuality rather than replication. ‘Musk should focus on business, not politics,' says Trump aide

A day after Elon Musk announced a new political party and criticised President Donald Trump's tax and spending bill, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Musk should focus on leading his companies rather than entering politics. Speaking to CNN on Sunday, Bessent said the boards at Musk's companies Tesla and SpaceX would likely be concerned about his political plans. 'I imagine that those boards of directors did not like this announcement yesterday and will be encouraging him to focus on his business activities, not his political activities,' Bessent said, according to Reuters. Musk announced the creation of the 'America Party' on Saturday, saying it was in response to Trump's recently signed tax and spending law. Musk argued that the law would lead the US towards bankruptcy. He also said the party would try to unseat Republican lawmakers who supported the bill in next year's midterm elections. Musk had previously been close to Trump, donating heavily to his re-election and serving briefly as an adviser on government reform. But their relationship changed after Musk opposed the new legislation, which cuts taxes and increases spending on defence and border security. The bill passed last week along party lines. President Trump has said Musk is upset because the law removes tax credits for electric vehicles, which affects Tesla. He has also threatened to review the billions of dollars in government contracts and subsidies that Tesla and SpaceX receive. In his remarks, Bessent downplayed Musk's influence on the public. 'The principles of DOGE were very popular,' he said. 'I think if you looked at the polling, Elon was not.' Musk's political move also received pushback from investors. Azoria Partners, an investment firm that had planned to launch a Tesla-related exchange-traded fund (ETF) this week, said it would delay the launch because of concerns about Musk's new role in politics. Azoria CEO James Fishback criticised Musk on X , writing, 'I encourage the Board to meet immediately and ask Elon to clarify his political ambitions and evaluate whether they are compatible with his full-time obligations to Tesla as CEO.' On Sunday, Fishback added: 'Elon left us with no other choice.' Elon has gone too far. My investment firm (@InvestAzoria) has decided to postpone next week's public listing of our Azoria Tesla Convexity ETF. Our decision comes in direct response to @ElonMusk's announcement that he is launching a new national political party. This creates… — James Fishback (@j_fishback) July 6, 2025 Musk has not publicly responded to the investor criticism. The White House did not comment on Musk's announcement. But Stephen Miran, head of Trump's Council of Economic Advisers, defended the president's tax and spending plan on ABC's This Week. 'The one, big, beautiful bill is going to create growth on turbo charge,' Miran said. Musk's America Party has not released detailed plans yet, but his comments suggest he wants to challenge Republican incumbents in next year's elections who backed Trump's economic policies.

Kamal Haasan confesses that ‘greed for money' stopped him from learning. Actor says could have ‘learned more'

Kamal Haasan , known for his unmatched versatility in Indian cinema , has worn many hats over his 65-year-long career—actor, writer, director, producer, choreographer, and even a trained makeup artist. But now, in a strikingly honest revelation, the iconic performer says there's something he stopped doing somewhere along the way: learning. In an interview with PTI, Haasan admitted that his avarice—his own word—for money got in the way of his thirst for knowledge. 'I like money. I want it to come to me,' he told PTI, explaining why he no longer sought out new mentors or teachers. 'Because of my work schedule, I stopped seeking more gurus. I think my avarice for money stopped me from learning. Otherwise, I would have learned more.' The 69-year-old legend reflected candidly on how fame and fortune can gradually distance artists from genuine growth. He explained that while cinema allows one to reach a vast audience, it also removes the artist from the direct experience of appreciation or critique. Over time, this disconnect can lead to arrogance, as feedback is filtered through media reports or fan interactions rather than real-time applause or honest criticism. The result, he suggested, is a skewed perception of success and a growing detachment from reality.
