Motorcyclist dies in tractor crash
The collision happened on the A449 Ross Road, near Ledbury, just after 10:30 BST on Saturday.
The woman, in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene, West Mercia Police said, as the force appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released under investigation, officers added.
The woman was on a Honda CBF 500 at the time of the crash, which involved a John Deere tractor towing a trailer containing a seed drill.
The driver was leaving a farm, waiting to turn right on to the A449 towards Preston Cross Roundabout, police said.
PC Danny Somner said the force's thoughts were with the woman's loved ones.

A fatal car crash that ended in a fire shut down portions of state Highway 13 and Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP said that around 3:10 a.m., patrol officers learned about a car that had crashed on northbound Highway 13, just north of I-580. The vehicle reportedly caught fire following the crash. The transition between northbound Highway 13 and westbound I-580 was shut down, with no estimated time of reopening immediately provided. Motorists are advised to expect delays in the affected areas and seek alternate routes while authorities continue to clear the scene and investigate the crash. 2 women suspected in July fatal San Jose stabbing arrested
Police arrested two women on Tuesday as suspects in a fatal stabbing in San Jose last month. The incident happened on July 20 at about 12:51 a.m. on S. Second Street near E. San Fernando Street in Downtown San Jose. The San Jose Police Department said in a press release on Wednesday that officers arrived to find a man suffering at least one stab wound and began life-saving measures. Medics responded and took the victim, identified as 22-year-old Raymond Orozco, to a hospital where he died of his injuries. The suspects fled before officers arrived, police said. It was the city's 15th homicide of 2025. During the investigation, homicide detectives identified 20-year-old Mercedes Rosales and 18-year-old Micaela Van, both San Jose residents, as the primary suspects, police said. On Tuesday, detectives working with undercover officers and members of the department's gang violence unit located both Rosales and Van in San Jose and arrested them after obtaining arrest warrants and search warrants for their homes, police said. They were taken to the Santa Clara County Main Jail, where Rosales was booked for murder and Van was booked as an accessory to murder.
