Stephanie Davis splits with partner days before Father's Day in latest heartbreak
The actress welcomed her second child just five months ago.
Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis split with her partner Joseph McKalroy ahead of Father's Day. The pair welcomed their son, Samuel back in January after being together for three years.
And today to mark Father's Day, Steph shared a photo of her own father with a heartfelt caption, thanking him for helping with her two sons Caben and Samuel, adding "there aren't many men like you", and made no mention of Joseph.
Fans took to the comments of her heartfelt post and asked: "Where's Joe?" while another said: "I think they have split up". A third agreed, saying: "I think so too as they both had each others name on their bios with a heart, which they don't anymore. It's such a shame if they have as they were a gorgeous little family!"
Back in January, when Joe and Stephanie became parents to their son, Samuel, the proud dad penned the caption of an Instagram post, sharing a snap of his baby son, which read: "Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy.
"Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could've met you and cherished you as much as I do.
"It has been a traumatic experience but you are finally here in our arms. I never thought I could possibly love your mummy anymore than I already do but this is just so special and an unconditional love I cannot explain with words.
"I love you more than you will ever know".
Stephanie, who shares seven-year-old son Caben with former CBB star Jeremy McConnell, responded: 'Sobbing reading this my heart. I love you more than anything in this world. I couldn't love you more I'm so blessed to have you as a daddy to our boys xx. You carried me though that, it was so tough. I love you more than you will ever know xxxxxxxx."
In 2022, Stephanie revealed she had suffered a devastating miscarriage three months into her pregnancy, heartbreakingly sharing she woke up one morning and 'didn't feel pregnant anymore'.
Admitting that she and Joe were "heartbroken", she said: "The anxiety, the heartbreak and the sadness we have gone through was horrendous. Me and Joe were so excited and already had visioned and planned a life with our family of four.
"I was already looking at what I was doing for my baby shower. You think when you get further on like I was that everything will be ok, so it was a big shock."
Before meeting Joe, the actress had a turbulent romance with Irish model, Jeremy, after they met on Celebrity Big Brother. Jeremy was found guilty of assaulting his then ex-girlfriend Stephanie in 2017.
McConnell, then 27, attacked Miss Davis at her home in Rainhill, Merseyside while she was holding their baby son, Liverpool Magistrates' Court heard.

‘The best' – Meghan honours Harry in heartfelt Father's Day message
'The best,' she captioned her post. 'Happy Father's Day to our favorite guy.' The compilation showed photos and videos of Harry laughing, dancing and spending quality time with his children through the years. The duchess made her social media return in early 2025 and regularly shares personal milestones and professional updates through her Instagram account. Harry and Meghan have been raising their children in Montecito, California since announcing they were stepping back as working members of the royal family on January 8 2020. The couple have since been at the centre of tensions with other royals, with the duke becoming estranged from his father, the King, and his brother, the Prince of Wales. In a recent interview, Harry said he 'would love a reconciliation' with his family, claiming Charles will not speak to him and expressing concern that he does not know 'how much longer my father has'. Harry was not the only royal father to receive a Father's Day appreciation post. William's children earlier wished him a happy Father's Day in a social media post declaring: 'We love you!' Two new photographs of William and his three children, George, 11, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven, were released on Sunday. The first picture shows the prince and his children posing for a family picture in a garden, while in the second picture, William and the youngsters are shown wrestling playfully in the grass, with the two boys holding their father down and Charlotte laughing. The King and Queen have also wished fathers around the world a happy Father's Day by posting photographs of their own fathers on the royal family's Instagram account. 'To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father's Day today,' the official account said. Jessie J promises to ‘beat' breast cancer in a speech at Summertime Ball
The 37-year-old, best known for her hit song Price Tag, recently announced in an Instagram video that she has been diagnosed with early breast cancer. The singer, who took the stage at Capital's Summertime Ball on Sunday, added that it would be her final performance before her surgery. The singer said: 'Today, this show, is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer. 'This is so special to me, you have no idea. 'I feel so proud to be feeling okay, to be this honest person where you say what you feel, and this being my last show before I go and have surgery. 'This is the most special thing and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, my son, my partner, my parents, my family, my band, my crew, my people.' The singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, performed her hit songs at Wembley Stadium including Domino, Price Tag, Do it Like A Dude and Bang Bang. The London-born singer has battled with ill health throughout her life, having been diagnosed with a heart condition aged eight, suffering a minor stroke aged 18 and having briefly gone deaf in 2020. She welcomed her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, in 2023, having miscarried in November 2021. When she shared her diagnosis, she said she made the decision to make the news public to help her process it and to show solidarity with others who are going through a similar experience, adding that she had recently spent a lot of time 'in and out of tests'. The singer-songwriter has had three number one songs in the UK singles charts with Domino, Price Tag, and Bang Bang. She was awarded four Mobo awards in 2011 including Best UK Act, Best Newcomer, Best Song for Do It Like A Dude and Best Album with Who You Are and won the Brit Award for Rising Star in 2011.
